Earlier today Senator Rand Paul went on with Maria Bartiromo on FOX Business Network.
Senator Paul does not support impeachment for Joe Biden at this point. He wants to see more evidence. And, being such an upstanding American citizen, Paul does not believe every president should be impeached. He leave that to Democrats. Later on Thursday morning Senator John Thune joined Stuart Varney and also pushed back against impeachment. Senator Thune and Senator Paul need to see more evidence before they support impeaching Joe Biden. They are upstanding citizens.

Well, Paul and Kennedy are kind of a disappointment, but I expected no better from Tillis and Thune.

But then they ARE Senators, and like I have been saying for years, the most hated current or past Senate Frat Boy or Sorority Sister is still more beloved by fellow Senators than their most beloved outsider.
And Biden was a Senator for more than a ‘generation’.
One of my rules is: Never vote for a Senator to be VP or President: Their ‘Frat Boy , hate outsiders’ attitude can do us peasants no good at all, and encourages more corruption.

If ever a president met the constitutional requirement for impeachment, this one does. Bribery is right there in the Constitution.

The laptop alone should have gotten Hunter life in prison with no chance of parole. Credible witnesses have sworn under oath that Quid Pro Joe coerced foreign politicians to pay up to obtain American foreign aid controlled by Old Yeller. What more do you need? He is corrupt, bought and paid for, evil, incompetent, despicable, a child molester and the worst CEO in all of recorded history. He should be charged with crimes from theft, graft, embezzlement, pedophilia, etc. to marrying a horse.

to be clear, McCarthy is talking about moving to the process of impeachment inquiry, precisely to collect all relevant info/evidence to see if moving to impeachment makes sense. the House develops the case and the Senate votes on it. the senators are signalling that the case has yet to be made. so it's up to the House to pull it together. even if all D senators end up voting against, if the case is persuasive, the American public will have been informed. but we are at the beginning of the process...

How much WORK so these people ever do? Aren't they taking off now for a month's vacation? They are not going to stay in D.C. and study all the material presently available for impeachment of this President. Biden is so compromised that our enemies laugh at us and watch as our country deteriorates into a third-world hellhole. Charlie Kirk spoke on his show recently about how pristine are the streets entering D.C. Have any of these senators been in any of our major cities lately? Third-world at best, and they are going for a month's vacation. They are not capable of shame. They are a disgrace.

you're right if ... you won't accept the obvious material evidence and if your thinking is already skewed to the negative, even a Ham Sandwich would survive in your court of law
this is exactly why the Republican Party is the party of disunity and can't be trusted under any circumstances

Would it not be better to do the investigations and uncover more and more wrongdoing and make the Dems defend the misdeeds and force them to demand his resignation? The Dems are joined to Biden/Harris and let them sink joined.

Biden can be impeached for what he did in Afghanistan. Plenty of proof.

There will be more evidence but the biggest piece, stealing the 2020 election from the rightful president, should have been more than enough to impeach this child-sniffing pervert.

I listened to the Rand Paul interview, and what he said was that more investigation will uncover more solid evidence which would goback decades and uncover tons of other players. A rush to remove GrandPa would let many skate. Presumably Some Repub and definitely most of the RINOs! At the same time the charges against boy crypto payments to Dems are dropped. There's a lot of unravelling going on! The MSM is not going near this. At some point they'll have to.

The case has been made in spades. They also forget that biden is not a duly elected president; that case has been made as well. Oh, and did you hear one rat or traitor pub say that about impeaching PDT? I don't think so! Our side is so stupid, and they think we are too. Some of us ARE like abused wives; we keep explaining away their damaging actions. They keep slapping US around. McCarthy is playing US too; he has no intention of moving impeachment forward. Those chicken-turds are only developing their vacation plans.

Impeachment will fail. there will never be 60 votes in the Senate. Once it fails, Democrats and their media will declare Biden is exonerated.
Better to just continue investigating and drip the damaging evidence continue right thru the 2024 election.
But the issue must not be allowed to dominate the election. Economy and culture are far more important

The Senators'views are irrelevant. Impeachment would not result in conviction due to the current makeup of the Senate. The same was true of the Trump impeachments. The question is, should Biden be impeached on the same basis as Trump?
