Lawyers for Hunter Biden may face legal sanctions for allegedly misrepresenting themselves to the court clerk in order to have information related to IRS whistleblowers removed from the case record. A member of Mr. Biden’s legal team is accused of falsely identifying herself while requesting the removal of amicus materials. According to the court clerk, Jessica Bengels, a New York-based Latham and Watkins litigation services director, contacted the clerk and asked to have the information kept confidential. In a July 25 letter, Theodore Kittila informed Delaware Judge Maryellen Noreika of the alleged trick, and that the clerk’s office had “advised that someone contacted the court representing that they worked with my office

Comments:

They didn't want t the IRS whistlelower material made public. Kittila is counsel to Jason Smith, chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee. This was a serious misrepresentation. The Biden defense lawyers must explain it to the judge by 9pm tonight.... It was a trick that blew up and cannot help their client's case.

Why am I not shocked? The law means nothing to these people. Lying, false Russian hoax, assassination...nothing is beyond these people in their lust for power. If you think that you are right and righteous in your mind, then nothing is off the table. Hitler truly believed that the undesirables should be eliminated, Jews, Gypsies, feeble-minded. Much like the Muslims believe in Taqiya, the right to lie and mislead infidels in the holy cause. This is how the left believes now and nothing will ever change their minds.

The U.S. Supreme Court on Thursday allowed Equitrans Midstream Corp. to resume the building of the Mountain Valley Pipeline, granting what some described as a win for Sen. Joe Manchin (D-W. Va.) by lifting a lower-court order that blocked work on the project. In a brief order (pdf), the high court suggested that it would possibly consider lawsuits issued by environmental groups. "Although the Court does not reach applicant’s suggestion that it treat the application as a petition for a writ of mandamus at this time, that determination is without prejudice to further consideration in light of subsequent developments," it said.

GWU law professor FOX News contributor Jonathan Turley on Wednesday analyzed what a derailed Hunter Biden plea bargain means for the case against him. (snip) TURLEY: I think part of the problem is they really did want to cap out the case. The Department of Justice wanted to cap this investigation. But they didn't want to say that it was now over. (snip) It was all supposed to be easy. And now it is off script and it is anything but easy. Because the judge just raised the one charge that the White House most fears which is the chance that Hunter was a foreign agent.

For the first time in human history, the gene regulatory program of healthy people has been manipulated on a massive scale. Despite everything we’ve been told, RNA-based COVID-19 injections were manufactured with modified RNA—not messenger RNA (mRNA). Modified RNA (modRNA) poses substantial risks to our health. These risks come not only from COVID-19 injections and boosters but—unless we speak up now—also from all future RNA-based vaccines. mRNA and modRNA Are Not the Same The two—mRNA and modRNA—are completely different. mRNA occurs naturally, lives in our cells for only a short ime, and is relatively fragile.

To say Harriet Hageman represents an upgrade to our congressional representation would be a profound understatement. During her remarks today Representative Harriet Hageman dropped all pretenses and eloquently called DHS Secretary Mayorkas what he is, “a tyrant.”

There was a lot going on in the Delaware federal court today. One of the topline issues was an admission by federal prosecutors that an additional investigation of Hunter Biden is ongoing, as the tax evasion and federal gun charge deal was brokered. (snip)Here’s the non-pretending version. The corrupt U.S. attorney’s office organized, coordinated and colluded with the Hunter Biden team to structure a deal that would provide cover for Hunter Biden for any further crimes. This is corrupt as hell. The judge sniffed this motive and asked the DOJ directly. The DOJ could not make that admission for obvious reasons and denied this intent.

Former Defense Secretary Leon Panetta has no regrets signing the now-infamous open letter heavily suggesting the Hunter Biden laptop was Russian disinformation. After several news organizations authenticated the laptop's contents, CNN anchor Kaitlan Collins asked the ex-Obama official Monday night whether he wished he never signed the letter "given what we know now."

When Joe Biden tapped Kamala Harris to be his running mate in 2020, it was perhaps the most easily predicted vice presidential choice in recent memory. Biden had made it clear that after emerging from the most diverse Democratic presidential candidate field in history, he would select a woman to join him on the ticket. The dynamics of the Democratic Party, which relies heavily on the votes of African American women to win elections, made it seem likely that Biden would select a running mate from this demographic group, especially as the murder of George Floyd brought race issues to the top of the public agenda.

Washington—With heat waves spreading across the United States, President Joe Biden on Thursday announced new steps to protect workers — including a hazard alert notifying employers and employees about ways to stay protected from extreme heat — as well as measures to improve weather forecasts and make drinking water more accessible. High temperatures have already scorched the Southwest this month, and more heat is expected in the Midwest and the Northeast in the coming days. Washington won’t be spared, and the heat index in the capital could reach 110 degrees Fahrenheit

The prosecutors gave Hunter Biden a sweetheart plea bargain to end the tax fraud and gun case against him. For offenses that most certainly would have landed you or me in jail for years, Hunter got . . . . . . [drum roll] . . . . . . nothing. Nada. Zero jail time. He didn’t even have to pay all of his unpaid taxes because the prosecution dallied so long that the statute of limitations expired. And the deal apparently immunized him against unrelated charges. He would walk, a new man. Well, not entirely.
