A House Republican is demanding a full accounting of weapons and tactical gear owned by the Internal Revenue Service, citing her "growing concern" over reports that the tax agency has spent nearly $10 million over the last three years on these items. "I write to you today to express my concerns regarding the increased rate of weapon purchases by the Internal Revenue Service," Rep. Stephanie Bice, R-Okla., wrote in a Tuesday letter to IRS Commissioner Daniel Werfel.

Janet "Yodel-Lay-Hee-Hoo" Yellen.........January 01, 2021........
"In the past two years, President-elect Joe Biden’s pick to be Treasury secretary, Janet Yellen, has raked in more than $7.2 million in speaking fees from Wall Street and large corporations including Citi, Goldman Sachs, Google, City National Bank, UBS, Citadel LLC, Barclays, Credit Suisse, Salesforce and more."
PS "In addition to Yellen, Antony Blinken, Biden’s nominee to be secretary of State, disclosed the clients he advised through WestExec Advisors, the consulting firm he co-founded with other Obama administration alumni. Those clients included the investment giant Blackstone, Bank of America, Facebook, Uber, McKinsey & Company, the Japanese conglomerate SoftBank, the pharmaceutical company Gilead, the investment bank Lazard, Boeing, AT&T, the Royal Bank of Canada, LinkedIn and the venerable Sotheby’s auction house."
Blinken still plugging away after the chaotic and deadly withdrawal from Afghanistan in 2021.

Where was Rice when the grant at amend occurred? Was she sleeping. Nearly every dept now has its own army…and the amount of munitions stashed away is enormous.

Pre retirement I owned a bar in Texas. The TABC used to check up on me with one guy I knew. He'd talk to the bartenders, do a walk around and leave. Then for reasons unknown ...
TABC would DRIVE up in 2 cars. Four guys would come in with badges, belts, and guns. They would stop service for 3 hours or more, terrify my bartenders, NOT FIND ANY VIOLATIONS and leave.
I was left to salvage the night, calm my bartenders down that they weren't about to lose their jobs or licenses.
I sold. I retired. Maybe they got what they wanted because my old place is dead from Coronavirus.

Their weapon is bullying….you have to prove yourself innocent instead of them proving your guilt! Typical DC sewer government!!!

NO IRS agent EVER needs to be armed. None. Disarm all of them, give them a phone and a notebook.

didn't the IRS recently report that unannounced home visits were being suspended? Home visits would be the only logical reason to arm agents.

What's going on is plain to see.
Unless for reasons of character-based weakness, one refuses to even look.

Put them to good use. Send them to Ukraine. Don't care which side they fight on.
