Donald Trump's supporters in New Hampshire have a new favorite choice for vice president: They want youthful anti-woke entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy on the ticket.
He displaces Arizona's election-denying Kari Lake in the affections of MAGA world, according to a new DailyMail.com poll.
Ramaswamy, who has blitzed the early primary state with grassroots events, claims 19 percent of the VP vote ahead of South Carolina Senator Tim Scott and Lake who both take 17 percent.

"Misinformation", garden-variety lies, deliberate smears... Vivek has been said to have connections to Soros and the WEF. Where does the truth rest in this?
Until we can confidently put such questions to rest, enthusiasm for Ramaswamy needs some restraint.
As for Kari, all else aside, her commitment to "populism" is unassailable. "Populism", that dirty word describing what the people who vote actually want, not what they are told to want.

Agree we must vet Vivek more.
But I also wonder if his ego would be content to be #2, especially with as strong an ego as PDJT. Not sure that dynamic would work.

Yes! Vet, Vet, Vet! For me, this guy came out of nowhere. The left is super duper crafty; I wouldn't put any tactic beyond them. I used to question PDT because he was a former democrat, yankee, all that. I thought George Bush was different from his daddy, and he named Christ as the one who changed his life, not AA. That puke leftist fooled me. Mike Pence. Tim Scott. Trey Gowdy. I could go own and own.

Vivek cares me in the facts Jesuit educate, Harvard & Yale law school, Goldman Sachs, Hedge funds, Big pharma, founded a company with DEI & ESG goals. Recipient of a Soros grant…. We had an un-vetted candidate in 2007. I do not want another.

I like what he has to say, very much. Problem is, politicians are experts at saying one thing and doing the opposite once elected. I want to see what hes done.

With Ramaswamy having had his education funded by Soros, I am worried that this is just another Deep State plant being put in place to help spy on and block Trump if he is re-elected. People coming out of nowhere, with zero political history give me the creeps, no matter what they say. Most of them turn out to be frauds.

Ramaswamy seems to be a pretty good choice, but I still like Kari Lake. She talks the talk and walks the walk.

Any "poll" conducted by the media is useless. More to the point, ANY poll is useless.

As far election winning is concernedVivek, whatever his ability and positives, is simply no match to Kari Lake. Her charisma and appeal has the potential to rival Trump himself.

I saw this coming a mile away when I watched the NH forum with Vivek last week. The County Republican Chair fella had already endorsed Vivek to much fanfare. Everything Vivek said was exactly what mush moderate Granite State pubbies love to hear. They love their Ivy League types ever since Bush I. President Trump needs a VP entirely in agreement with him on the MAGA agenda. He NEEDS to be a united TEAM with his VP and not in name only as it usually is!
Trump/Lake 2024
MAGA VICTORY

This Roman Catholic would have a hard time voting for any Jesuit educated individual, especially if his education was funded by Soros!

A Catholic friend, a well known writer, once commented that the Pope wasn't a Catholic....he was a Jesuit.
With a wry grin, but he's right on target, IMO.

I am all in for Lake as VP. Ramaswamy? Not so much. I am leery of him. He is very young and frankly, I don’t trust him. He is a smooth talker but there has to be deep convictions behind the ability to communicate. We have to get this right. Between he and Lake, it’s going to be Lake every time. I trust her. She is an excellent communicator and will not be intimidated. Trump/Lake 2024.

There is a place for Vivek in a Trump administration, but not the VP position. He is too similar to Trump. We need someone like Tim Scott.

Kari Lake has paid the price and is true to her investment as far as I am concerned.

I like Ramaswamy but yes, he does need to be vetted more as the Soros connection is troubling. Even so I wouldn't pick him over Kari Lake. She's been through the corrupt leftist fire and has proven herself a warrior for MAGA. What was done to her in AZ was done to PDJT in 2020. So, she gets it, and her media experience is a plus because she knows how the democrat supporting fake news thinks.

We've followed Kari Lake since she won the Arizona primary, prayed for her, donated to her campaign, saw the corruption against her and knew she was a fighter for righteousness and justice. She's our kind of woman. God has His Hand on her and a plan for her. I have felt since the battle in Arizona for governor that she was destined for high office. She has the heart of a warrior. And God's anointing, which makes her dangerous to the demonic Left.
See Psalm 89:14..righteousness and justice is the foundation of God's throne...

I have to agree with most of the comments above:
Ramaswamy is very articulate and says all we want to hear - without a teleprompter, etc. But i was so severely chastised by the hard lesson of Mike Pompeo, that I am afraid to take the chance. Trump gave Pompeo two top posts, which he appeared to faithfully execute. He was so effusive in playing up his admiration for Trump (read stroke President Trump's admitted ego) that when they appeared together President Trump should have been barefooted. (Think about it)
I was even dumb enough to buy Pompeo's book. THEN as soon as Trump left office, Pompeo started viciously bad-mouthing him on the MSM talk shows, making it clear that he had been committing deep state sedition all along.
Kari Lake seems solidly behind the constitution, as written. While some who haven't yet figured out that sex is just as bad as skin color as a reason to vote, may vote for her for that reason, the current "vice" (pun intended) president should make them look to her for the obvious better reason. She seems to be a constitutional conservative, populism before party. In other words, qualified.
Kari Lake is qualified to fill the Oval Office if necessary, she just might be the nominee in 2028! And the beautiful thing is that her gender will eventually be just a footnote in the history book.
