A conservative professor and former police officer lost his job at St. Philip’s College in San Antonio after he allowed debate on topics including homosexuality and policing, the second professor at the school to be forced out in the last semester. Will Moravits told The College Fix that in all his class discussions he tells his students that the classroom “is a place where all opinions are welcomed and encouraged, but not required. I also remind them that if they feel uncomfortable, they have my permission to excuse themselves from the discussion.”

What a bunch of sissy, weenie, girlie-boy, wimpy, weak, cowardly, frail (there are not enough words to express my disgust) students. Please go home to your parent's basement and do not emerge until you grown the hell up. I loved debating ideas pro and con. Give them all a participation trophy and kick them out into the real world and let's see how long they last. What a pathetic waste of space.

God help us if this is what our future leaders look like. Life isn't supposed to be "comfortable." I guess if you've had sunshine, rainbows and unicorns blown up your butt, participation trophies, praised in school for just showing up and breathing, then the mere thought of crossing a busy street would paralyze you.

I suspect that "uncomfortable" means that they encountered arguments for the first time that do not exist in their bubble. They realized they had no rational counter-argument and that emotional declarations were ineffective.

So a student didn't like that a discussion on something in the classroom made them uncomfortable. So What! They were in the classroom and were able to speak up and give their point of view. Maybe they did but the teacher or another student contradicted what they said and hurt their feelings. That is life. Running to the college administration is not how you deal with hurt feelings because someone questioned your ideology. What will this person do when they are out of college and a coworker, customer, client, or the boss makes them uncomfortable? So many people are so insecure today that they must run away crying like little babies whenever their beliefs are called into question. These people should not be in college. They should be in indoctrination centers where their liberal beliefs can be reinforced and celebrated so they always "feel" good about themselves and are only surrounded by like minded people. They do not want to be exposed to other ideas lest they be frightened by the truth.

Don't the 2% of non-leftist college professors, tuition funding non-democrat voting parents and college bound students with common sense this year know. You will NOT have a free exchange of ideas nor debate the hot button issues of the day on college campi across the fruited plain. Silly you if you thought otherwise. Now you mean old Conservative professor in San Antone either you say there's 27.5 genders and believe in ACAB (All Cops Are Bastardos) or you will be fired forever. Your choice.

The House voted Thursday to terminate the Defense Department's policy of allowing servicemembers to travel across state lines to get an abortion and reimbursing them for their travel costs. Lawmakers voted 221-213 in favor of an amendment to the annual defense policy bill from Rep. Ronny Jackson, R-Texas, that would force the Pentagon to end this policy. The Defense Department put the policy in place shortly after the Supreme Court struck down Roe v. Wade. The House vote is a victory for conservatives who hinted that including the language in the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) was critical to their support for the entire bill.

California Bill Would Let Judges ‘Rectify

The California state legislature is considering a bill that would allow judges to use sentencing in criminal cases to “rectify racial bias” in the criminal justice system as a whole. The bill, AB 852, passed the State Assembly in May and is currently going through the committee process in the State Senate. It notes that existing law already allows defendants to challenge their sentences as racially biased, but it would add that judges can consider race in sentencing. The bill was introduced in February by State Rep. Reggie Jones-Sawyer (D-South Los Angeles) and is intended as part of the “reparations” package recently proposed by a state panel to the legislature.

These income-driven plans set a forgiveness threshold of 20 or 25 years. Borrowers must make payments that qualify over this period — payments that can be as low as $0 based on an individual’s income and family situation. “By fixing past administrative failures, we are ensuring everyone gets the forgiveness they deserve,
