FBI Director Christopher Wray testified before the House Judiciary Committee today.
The hearing, “Oversight of the Federal Bureau of Investigation,” examined the politicization of the nation’s preeminent law enforcement agency under the direction of FBI Director Christopher Wray and Attorney General Merrick Garland.
Rep. Troy Nehls (R-TX), a former sheriff, destroyed dirty Chris Wray during his testimony before the House Judiciary Committee on Wednesday.
Nehls brought video and photos of Ray Epps encouraging Trump supporters to enter the US Capitol on January 5th and January 6th and then leading the charge through the first ste of barriers to the US Capitol.

It is about time Republicans start speaking up. These issues of child pornography and child sex trafficking are serious and to treat them lightly is mind boggling. But I guess when banning abortion becomes a Democrat campaign talking point, a person can't be surprised at the lack of concern for babies or children.

This arrogant dirty cop needs to be grilled until he breaks. Claiming the FBI is the "premier law enforcement agency in the country" is a complete joke. The crimes for which they are continuously trying to hang Donald Trump never existed and I don't recall them going after any real criminals since 2008 thanks to Obama and his flunky, Comey. Take away their fancy military armor and issue them pencils and paper, that's all they can handle safely.

Exactly #2- instead, Jim Jordan is "threatening" to move the FBI HQ to Alabama. Oh that'll have them quaking in their leather loafers.
It is not 1923 and we no longer need a national police force. And the FBI has long strayed from being "law enforcement" to being a domestic version of the CIA. Shut it all down.

I like to hear the braying. It’s better than being silent. Elected Republicans are by nature feckless and fear being called names. The few who do speak out are making a difference. Sure, I’d love to see Wray absolutely destroyed and forced to resign without his pension and bennies too. The one thing that would give these unelected bureaucrats pause is that if they are found to be corrupt or incompetent that they would lose their pension and benefits. I can’t see that happening because Republicans lack the courage to link actions to consequences. However, if it is in the power of Republicans to do so, they should. Allowing these cretins to leave with full pension and benefits is a slap in the face to every American Taxpayer. They live the high life and the people they improperly imprison are living in horrific conditions because they dared to show up in Washington to air their constitutionally guaranteed grievances. Why we keep playing this same old game is beyond me. Our inability to hold anyone accountable for the crimes they commit is the exact reason that corruption continues to flourish. A tongue lashing is not going to change the climate in Washington. Until serious and consequential punishments are applied, nothing changes. It’s just all a game played for the amusement of the masses…more bread and circuses. And it will bring about the same result, the end of the Republic.

Near the close of the video, Wray’s lecture included the stock —- “. . . disservice to our hard working, dedicated law enforcement professionals.” Congressman Nehls responded, he did not let Wray get away with those weasel words. He reminded Wray that Epps was number 16 on the most wanted list and was never arrested. I liked that.

For the longest time republicans said nothing and did nothing. I suppose I should be somewhat encouraged that of late there are some who have marshalled sufficient fortitude to say something. Let's hope they take the next step, or that we can identify and elect those who will.

Public exposure of wrongdoing is only useful if there might be a criminal penalty (There wont. The fix is in) or public shame. Politicians in general and democrats in particular have demonstrated over and over they are incapable of shame. So while I am glad to see these dirt bags on the hot seat, I'm under no illusions that it will change anything. Our options to reinstate The Constitution are becoming fewer and fewer as time goes on.

That smug look on the Wrayster's mug during the hearing really chaps my behind. Yes, the pubbies can certainly bloviate in these hearings until the cows come home. Kabuki theater. But unfortunately, lawfare knows that AG Garlic Man holds the high cards. And always keep in mind that the Garlic Man and his fellow dims all swore to uphold the Constitution of the United States when they took office. As you can see, the Constitution is little more than bottom material in a bird cage to them. Herein lies the problem. Sooner or later, the revolution that has started will spill outward from our political system and social media and into the public domain. When the general public engages, let's hope God stands with us.

Excuse 2nd post but on the Larry O'Connor show this morning on www.wmal.com (podcast will be available later today or tomorrow), Kash Patel was a guest (last hour of show) and he said there ARE things these committees can do in terms of money to force the FBI to honor the subpoenas sent to them. Things like no more money for Wray's tax payer funded private jet, etc. He said they (Devin Nunes and he on Intel Committee) did it during the Russian collusion investigation. Yes, ideally the entire budgets for these agencies should be zeroed out but in the meantime, there are a few things these R controlled committees can do if they find their spines and balls.

Hearings mean nothing to a communist who has no shame, no morals or values and has sold his soul to his party, not our country, his party. Everybody knows the man is a piece of human trash but until he and his buddies are put behind bars and face some real consequences, these hearings mean nothing to them. He probably went home, called his buddy Comey and both laughed about how they made fools of the republicans again. Wake up already.

Say what you want but Fay Wray's perennial smirk got slapped off his face more than once and, with God answering our prayers there will be more bad days ahead for him.
BTW --- Let's not totally bash the Republicans and learn to accept small victories as they come. None of this ... none ... would be happening if Nancy Puke-face was still in charge. Period. Ultimate victory belongs to the most persevering and you must first have many small and some big defeats. You appreciate winning much more after losing a few!
Seeing and believing in only the worst lowers our capacity to perceive a way to change things for the better.
We were in a very deep hole after the election was stolen from Trump but we are climbing out. Better to be climbing up the ladder to Heaven then climbing down.

These corrupt government "show me the money" stooges have clearly shown that their god is Mammon. Shutting off the money/benefits faucet where possible would be a welcome start.
I also thank #20. None of this would be happening if Ms. Pelosi was Speaker. We are seeing small victories but they are victories none the less. I am confident that eventually many of these people will see the inside of a cell; they may even be personally introduced to the hangman. I really believe it will happen.

Behind the scenes, President Trump was quietly working on sending teams to rescue and expose child trafficking. Like many things about him, he often does good things behind the scenes to help other people.
NOT DOING ANYTHING is going to cost the Republicans and the nation everything.
