California Bill Would Let Judges ‘Rectify
Racial Bias’ in Sentencing, for ‘Reparations’

Original Article

The California state legislature is considering a bill that would allow judges to use sentencing in criminal cases to “rectify racial bias” in the criminal justice system as a whole. The bill, AB 852, passed the State Assembly in May and is currently going through the committee process in the State Senate. It notes that existing law already allows defendants to challenge their sentences as racially biased, but it would add that judges can consider race in sentencing. The bill was introduced in February by State Rep. Reggie Jones-Sawyer (D-South Los Angeles) and is intended as part of the “reparations” package recently proposed by a state panel to the legislature.

This is codification of the two-tiered Just-Us system. Some quotas are more equal and deserving of reverse discrimination than other people.

So let me get this straight, if you're black you no longer have to pay for anything, just take what you want from stores and walk out. If you decide to flee from the police they won't be allowed to chase you. If you decide to shoot up in the middle of the sidewalk in front of school kids or decide to whip it out and pee in public, no problem. And, in the rare event you are actually charged with a crime no problem you have an automatic get out of jail card. Not to mention we will transfer millions of taxpayer dollars to you. And all of this because a couple hundred years ago, in places far away from California bought slaves from African slave traders. Oh I get in now.

I am with #5. For years and years we have heard all about Reparations! I'm sick of it. Black People, living now, deserve NOTHING from anyone else. We all worked hard all of our lives to get what we have and Nothing was handed to us because of our Race. We could be White, Mexican, Swede, Italian or Whatever. So I say to those Loud, Screeching, overfed, long Fingernails Women who are getting in front of a Microphone and flapping their big mouths about Reparations, GET A JOB! Get your Baby daddy's to pay for their Children's upbringing. Then get Yourself off the Couch, shut off Oprah and go look for work! Far as I'm concerned, I shouldn't be paying anything for you're Lifestyle. It's what YOU choose. You should NOT be getting any money from the Government if you are of working age!! That goes for your Kids as well. My kids all had jobs at 16 and Your's should too. Get them off the Streets, take away their Guns and make them come home at 10 PM instead letting them roam the Streets looking for a Car to break in to. Reparations!! I don't think so!!

The House voted Thursday to terminate the Defense Department's policy of allowing servicemembers to travel across state lines to get an abortion and reimbursing them for their travel costs. Lawmakers voted 221-213 in favor of an amendment to the annual defense policy bill from Rep. Ronny Jackson, R-Texas, that would force the Pentagon to end this policy. The Defense Department put the policy in place shortly after the Supreme Court struck down Roe v. Wade. The House vote is a victory for conservatives who hinted that including the language in the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) was critical to their support for the entire bill.

It’s hardly news that the government has long managed news reporting through a combination of leaks, favored treatment, and threats. With the growth of social media and the COVID-19 “pandemic,” the Biden administration blatantly used every tool in its arsenal to censor constitutionally protected free speech. Posters on the pre-Musk Twitter and Facebook, to take the most obvious examples, were regularly shadow banned and even silenced altogether from posting alternate views to those of the government. This week, Judge Terry A. Doughty in a 155-page memorandum detailed the government’s manipulation of social media.
