'Shut down and donate all of your land
to indigenous people': Furious Ben & Jerry's
customers vow to NEVER buy the ice cream
again over July 4 tweet demanding 'stolen'
Native American land be returned to the Lakota

Furious ice cream fans are promising to boycott the iconic Ben & Jerry's brand, accusing the company of 'going woke' following a July 4th tweet in which it said that it was 'committed' to returning 'stolen' lands to indigenous peoples. The brand, which was founded by longtime Bernie Sanders allies Ben Cohen and Jerry Greenwood but has since been sold to British multinational Unilever, tweeted the message to its 494,000 followers. 'This 4th of July, it's high time we recognize that the US exists on stolen Indigenous land and commit to returning it,' the company's official account wrote before suggesting Mount Rushmore should be handed back to its original owners.

Go woke, Go broke. Let's hope. Hope they go broke. We stopped buying B&G's ice cream years ago when their woke message turned their ice cream sour. Uggh!

About fifteen years ago I bought a pint of B&J's Cherry Garcia, being a fan of the Grateful Dead. It was good ice cream, but the founders' Maoist beliefs make their brand unacceptable now. I won't ever buy another pint. Get woke, go broke.

I just saw on T.V. An Indian saying that Ben and Jerry’s are sitting on land stolen from them and it would be nice for Ben and Jerry to return their land to them . Another thing all countries in the world do not have the original owners. At this rate we will have to give some of our states back to Mexico who then would have to give back to the Indians

Never bought their ice cream because of their politics. But now that they are the "light beer" of ice cream I am hoping that fence sitters will now join in. Besides, it's to expensive. Blue Bell will work just fine. When they sell everything they own, close up shop, hand over the deed and the keys to whomever they are just progressives taking up space, telling others who to do and living the high life. Maybe if they put bugs in vanilla and called them chocolate chips.

This won’t hurt them with their customer base of effete, wine drinking snobs. Unlike Bud Light where that chick that torched the brand didn’t have a clue about who bought their beer.

Give it back so WE can steal it in other words. B&J continue to steal from B&J customers; they need to give every dime back plus all the wealth they, their children, and family members have stolen. And they need to find a spot on the planet that doesn't belong to anyone and make it theirs. With no funding from anyone. Not a dime. Let's see if they can make it like cavemen. Dumb!

There are ice cream brands that are cheaper than Ben & Jerry's and just as good. I have never bought B & J. Bet there are many others just like me. Higher prices mean fewer customers. So does being woke. They better wise up or they will be downsizing. Maybe they are ok with that. Serving only woke customers. Nice LITTLE niche. They can pat themselves on their backs for the high 'moral' standards. Everyone else will give them a kick in the pants.

Let's look at this from a historical perspective: Which indigenous people are we going to give which lands too? Native Americans waged war and conquered and enslaved for thousands of years before Europeans came. An example are the Crow Amerinds who helped the US Cavalry fight the Sioux. They had been driven from their native lands only a generation before and hoped to use the Europeans to recover it. Stealing horses, women, children was practically a game to prove a warrior's status within a tribe. Nations like the Iroquois the Maya, Aztec and Inca, were unusual in duration. So who do we give the land too? The people who stole it from someone else a few years before we showed up? The people they stole it from? By conquest we Europeans have as much right to the land as any of their ancestors.

Before the Pilgrims arrived in 1620 the entire land mass that is now the USA was inhabited by indigenous peoples also called Indians, who considered their tribes to be separate nations from each other. If the current land mass of the USA is handed over to indigenous people the USA would no longer exist. Chances are that is not going to happen which will make the extreme leftist, progressive, and socialist Democrats very sad as it is evident that they would love to see the USA crash and burn, to be replaced by some sort of socialist utopia. Forget about Ben & Jerry’s ice cream, and let them take their business to indigenous people and see what happens.

In 1737, Chief Lappawinsoe (Lenape Indian Tribe) signed the Walking Purchase agreement to SELL part of his tribe's land in the eastern border area of the colonial Province of Pennsylvania along the upper northern reaches of the Delaware River with the neighboring West New Jersey colonial grant further east of the Province of New Jersey (later after the American Revolutionary War (1775–1783) as the State of New Jersey) "extending as far west as a man could walk in a day and a half". Historian often use the quote: "Chief Lappawinsoe, believing the treaty genuine and assuming a man could only walk about 40 miles, agreed to the Walk!".

Growing up I never had B & J's as my family bought the cheaper store brands (six kids who loved ice cream) mainly from the A& P, IGA or if my mom really wanted to go all out Kroger. Plus going to places like Dairy Queen were at treat. The only time when I had their ice cream was my first "steel beach picnic" during my first Naval deployment in the Pacific. I was barely 20 single and had a ball with my fellow sailors. When I got married and had kids I just never bothered to by B & J's settling for cheaper brands like Haagen-Daz or Blue Bell. Then while listening to Rush Limbaugh, he clued me in as to how leftwing the founders were and that just made me want to continue to not buy their product. As far as I'm concerned Ben & Jerry's is to ice cream what Star Bucks is to coffee.

First, SS is not in danger, despite political rhetoric and the fact that it HAS to be modified to survive, but Second and more important, where do you think your AARP membership $ GOES? Problem is, the "indiginous" peoples stole it from someone else to begin with (Clovis) and then spent a few thousand years raiding and stealing from each other before Europeans ever got here. But now, in the 21st Century, I'll go Ben and Jerry one better. All American Indian treaties should be immediately abrogated and all reservation lands turned over to the federal governmnent for sale to the public or use as national parks. The entire concept of a "nation within a nation" is obsolete and should be abandoned. It's 2023. We took it. It's ours now. Assimilate!

About 25 years ago, my husband and I were driving through Vermont on a vacation trip to the northeast states, and we stopped at the B&J factory in Stowe to take the tour. At the end of the tour, they gave out samples. We both thought that it wasn't half as good as our beloved Bluebell ice cream back home in Texas. When we got back home to San Antonio, I looked for their ice cream at the grocery store, and was shocked at just how expensive it was. It was only later that I learned what sort of far left lie-beral nutcases B and J were. Needless to say, we never bought their lie-beral swill and never will!!! So, sorry, we can't join the boycott, since we can't boycott something we have never, and will never, buy!!!

Maybe the extreme leftists like B&J who obviously hate America should think about emigrating back to the foreign lands from which their ancestors immigrated to America and see how they like living in those old countries.

Seven times before law enforcement found cocaine smuggled into the White House, President Joe Biden promised to restore “integrity” and “decency” to the presidency. Over the July 4th weekend, officials discovered cocaine stashed in the White House. The Secret Service has yet to reveal its findings of who smuggled the white powdery drug into one of the most secure buildings in the world. And the White House refuses to provide much insight into the growing scandal. The White House press team refuses to say whether or not the cocaine belonged to Joe or Hunter Biden, citing campaign law.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Lesley Wolf is a central figure in the investigation into Hunter Biden and is alleged to have stymied investigators and aided the Biden family. Wolf is the subject of a letter Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-IA), ranking member of the Senate Budget Committee, sent to the U.S. Attorney for the District of Delaware, David Weiss, on Sunday. Wolf worked directly beneath Weiss on the Department of Justice and IRS probe into Biden’s overseas business dealings and tax affairs. In addition to other allegations about Wolf’s role in the probe, Grassley’s letter revealed an October 2020 briefing that Wolf allegedly received from the Department of Justice and FBI.

Former President Donald Trump ripped into Iowa Gov. Kim Reynolds Monday over her decision to stay 'neutral' in the 2024 Republican primary - yet will appear on the campaign trail with Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis and his wife Casey. Trump took to Truth social to air his grievances, pointing out how he had endorsed Reynolds during her 2018 gubernatorial run - crediting himself for her ascent - only to have her appear in photo-ops with his political rivals. Most recently, Reynolds tagged along Thursday when Casey DeSantis launched her 'Mamas for DeSantis' group outside of Des Moines, amid reports that the Iowa governor is over Trump.

The Justice Department briefed federal prosecutors and agents on the team investigating Hunter Biden on a key FBI document containing allegations of a criminal bribery scheme involving Joe Biden in October 2020, but did not invite IRS agents to that briefing, Sen. Chuck Grassley charged. That accusation was leveled just weeks after IRS whistleblowers alleged that the entire federal investigation into Hunter Biden's business dealings was influenced by politics. The document in question is an FBI-generated FD-1023 form. The form, dated June 30, 2020, reflects the FBI's interview with a "highly credible" confidential source who detailed multiple meetings and conversations

But what kind of a headline would that have been? At least the BBC was honest about their scare headline: “World’s hottest day since records began.” The bottom line: We’re all going to burn up and we’re all going to die unless we throw an hysterical climate change tantrum and demand that our government take panicky steps to save us from the climate change demons. An archbishop in the Church of England said the opening of the “Lord’s Prayer” is considered “problematic” to some people because the 2,000-year-old prayer starts by addressing God as “Our Father.” Archbishop of York Stephen Cottrell told the General Synod, the legislating and ruling body of the Church of England, that referring to God as “father” might be offensive to some people because of the negative connotations of patriarchy. “I know the word ‘father’ is problematic for those whose experience of earthly fathers has been destructive and abusive, and for all of us who have labored rather too much from an oppressively patriarchal grip on life,” Cottrell said,

Stein’s Law holds that “If something cannot go on forever, it will stop.” The late Herbert Stein made the observation about economic trends, but his axiom perfectly describes Joe Biden’s shaky dance with political death. The president is trying to navigate a narrow path between two potential disasters. Each one could prove fatal to his tenure, but if the twain shall meet, he doesn’t have a prayer. And it’s a near certainty they will meet because the facts we already know are overwhelmingly stacked against him and more damaging information is coming soon. One track of his predicament stems from general public unhappiness with his performance.

Major legal rulings that dismantled the use of race in college admissions, undermined protections for LGBTQ people and tossed out President Joe Biden’s student debt relief program marked the end of a Supreme Court term in which the conservative supermajority continued to exert its dominance. The majority also doubled down on a controversial legal theory that limits the power of federal agencies to take unilateral action. Meanwhile, the justices rejected a far-fetched argument that would have limited the role of state courts in election disputes and turned away an aggressive attempt to challenge Biden administration immigration policy – both areas in which lawyers on the right might have overreached in their arguments.

Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen was slammed for bowing multiple times when she met with China's vice premier He Lifeng, as some critics say the protocol error is a sign of American weakness. Yellen, who served as chair of the Federal Reserve before becoming Joe Biden's top financial official, wrapped up her first visit to China as treasury secretary on Sunday. Moments after bowing at least three times, Yellen then stumbled over He's name, calling him 'Vice Premier Hu.' Both Washington and Beijing said the meetings during her four-day trip were fruitful, although the visit - designed to help smooth a rocky relationship - did not generate any concrete agreements.
