The White House said Wednesday that President Joe Biden, 80, has started using a CPAP machine to treat his sleep apnea - after he was spotted with visible indentations on his face.
The mask lines were apparent as the president spoke with reporters on the South Lawn Wednesday morning before a day trip to Chicago.
The West Wing quickly shut down conspiracy theories by confirming the lines were caused by the device that helps sufferers breath when they sleep.

It's a CPAP !! It's not a "breathing" machine. It's function is to keep positive air pressure in your sinuses to keep you from snoring like a freight train, allowing you and everyone around you to sleep nights. I've been wearing one for 18 years. I know many people that also wear one.
The only thing that irritates me more that Biden is defending him from something monumentally stupid.

His physician will probably say - "Except for the dementia, sleep apnea, tripping, stumbling, lying, blank stares, Hunter is "the smartest guy I know", shuffling feet, etc etc I think he's ready for another 4 years to be POTUS".

I call BS on his "sleep apnea machine."

#4 - My first question, also. Like pillow lines, any CPAP strap lines are long gone after a shower, shave, breakfast, and donning of a suit. Clearly, he was down for his morning nap.

Lady Chihuahua uses a CPAP at night. It does not leave lines. What was the time of day when this was noticed? Sounds like he is using oxygen when not meeting with anyone.

Those lines came from the box in which they lock him up at night so he doesn't wander around the grounds.

Sometimes the lines from the straps are visible for hours after getting up. Sometimes there aren't any at all. I guess it depends on how tight the mask is and how one sleeps.

The lines on his face do not correspond to the picture they show of the mask - his lines go straight across his cheek and below his ear. The mask shown in the picture has narrower strap that goes above the ear. Whatever he's wearing, it isn't the mask shown in the DM's picture.

A CPAP machine is no big deal. You just have to clean it EVRY SINGLE DAY. My wife is a big fan of one I have been using for the last fifteen years. I am more concerned about the disorder INSIDE Joe Dementia's head.

I've been using a CPAP for 22 years and it's not a ventilator (but my bet is that my using it the 3 times I had COVID helped keep me out of a hospital).

This is probably true. I know a CPAP machine is not a big deal, but the thought of the President using one is more than I want to know about.

Based on the lines on his face from his CPAP, I'd say he either slept really late that day or had taken a nap. Which isn't a big deal, except for the fact the media and Dems made Ronald Reagan's naps a very deal. According to them, it was an indication that he should be removed from office, he was too old to make it through the day without a nap, too old to be president. So, if napping was an issue then, it should be one now. Their rules, make them live by them.

Woodrow Wilson had the excuse that he had strokes after becoming president. The fraud perpetrated on the American people then is astonishing and glossed over in history.
What was done in 2020 is unforgivable. Biden was "elected" already in a verifiable state of decline. His demonic wife supports this continued farce at the expense of her allegedly beloved husband. She is an evil gold digger. Wilson's wife was no less evil in covering up her husband's disability.
Here a Lucianne, we all know that Obama is the president. I suspect that Biden is out and Newsome will run in '24 and be "elected."

BS. I think they have to put his head in a vise to get his meds down his throat before letting him out of the residence. Dementia patients can very hostile and aggressive. (Kidding, sorta)
If he actually had just taken a nap, why does he need a nap in the morning? The elderly who nap, do it in the afternoon. I know - my 75 year old husband takes a nap every afternoon. If that’s what it was, it just shows how ill he really is.

Let's get real people. I've used a CPAP machine for 20 years which does not make me feeble and ready for the scrap heap! As much as I dislike this POTUS and the severe damage he and his minions are doing to this country, I am going to give him a pass on this one. Tripping and his non-sense sentences are a different story.

Ole Joe is plugged in to many machines when he's not on camera...the deal is that the rats must keep him alive so heals up harris won't be president....wonder if the marks on biden's face is a oxygen mask strap...obama has to keep him alive until he can install another dem to take his place....probably newssom of California...anyone he choses will lose against President Trump...so now obama has to squeeze every anti/American law into place before he's done....

He'd better get a canary to test the air in that, be it a CPAP or oxygen. Is Harris sneaking around the WH at night?

CPAP and VARIPAP devices are not anything to get upset about. Millions of people use this proven method to treat sleep apnea. They don't cause or help dementia. They do lower blood pressure give a restful sleep and help prevent stroke.
If you wear a full face mask and need high pressure, thus requiring a snug fit for seal they will leave marks on your face in the morning. A good rubbing should take care of that - well at least it does for me, but then I'm not eighty years old with a history of cosmetic surgery.
And if the machine fails, you won't die, you'll just wake up. There are valves on it after all.
