As RedState reported earlier, the United States Supreme Court ruled in a 6-3 vote Thursday that the race-based college admissions processes used by Harvard and the University of North Carolina (UNC) violate the 14th Amendment’s equal protection clause, effectively striking down the use of affirmative action programs in college admissions. In Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson’s dissenting opinion in the UNC case, Jackson, who was nominated by President Joe Biden to the Supreme Court in part based on a campaign promise to nominate a black woman, accused the court’s conservative majority of “let-them-eat-cake obliviousness,” proclaiming that the Justices “detached” themselves from “this country’s actual past and present experiences,”

Kente-Cloth Brown ain't too bright. In fact, she's a walking cliche. But then, that's what you get when racial bean counters and panderers like Briben make appointments based solely on traits like skin color and what genitalia someone has.

Sowell covered this topic in his excellent book, "Discrimination and Disparities". Preferential treatment for blacks infantilizes them and casts doubt on their true accomplishments.

I knew during his Confirmation Hearings that America needed Clarence Thomas on the USSC. Nothing has caused that belief to waver over these past three decades. I’m very thankful for him. I pray that God blesses America with more good men just like him in every walk of life.

Jackson is an affirmative action racist, and in no way deserves to be where she is....and knows it.
On the other hand, Thomas is the real deal, and earned every inch of his progress through actual merit.

Blunt straight to the heart and a complete damning of the leftist mindset. Justice Thomas is a national treasure.

Thomas' eloquent comments are true. I await any argument against those comments based on the Constitution and the law.
The fact that someone disagrees with the results of a legal argument does not, per se, negate the validity of that argument, If Thomas' argument is flawed, specific legal flaws must be provided together with legal support for the asserted flaws. Personal opinions and perceptions of desired outcomes are far from adequate regarding legal questions.

Ketanji Brown Jackson, the Affirmative Action racial and sexual discrimination hire, is of course in favor of Affirmative Action racial and sex discrimination... as long as it is in HER favor.
It's the ONLY 'camouflage' the Democ'RATS have for installing her where she is.
The REAL reason for her being installed is that she is a Screaming Leftist who will do her best to push us farther toward Communism, which is the whole objective of the HairSniffer's handlers in putting her on the Court.

And Thomas further wrote, on the ruling:
"The solution to our Nation’s racial problems thus cannot come from policies grounded in affirmative action or some other conception of equity. Racialism simply cannot be undone by different or more racialism. Instead, the solution … is incorporated in our Constitution: that we are all equal, and should be treated equally before the law without regard to our race.”
Yes, precisely, sir, precisely.
Race hustlers are screaming and crying.

In her dissent she wrote: "No one benefits from ignorance." This from the then nominee who couldn't answer the question: What is a woman?"

Methinks that Ketanji doth protest too much. She’s a token and she knows it.

My father was the first in his family to graduate high school. I was the first to go to college, and graduate. I can trace my heritage back to the 1700's, many could not read or write according to the census.
In HS my girlfriends parents immigrated from Czech rebellion. She was in honors classes, and was clued in on what the SAT/ACT tests were and how to take them. I was not, was just told to show up at X place with 2 number 2 pencils.
I think there is a LOT more than race with regards to someone going to, or getting into, college.
The education establishment is using race as an excuse for not providing the education many in lower-income and inner-cities need to get into college. It's also easier to use it than putting in the hard work that used to be part of the class instruction.
You could be a 4.0 student but that won't get you into an Ivy League school, as the rest will have honors classes that elevate them to higher GPA's.
Most don't realize the pace of college, how much time and effort will be required to excel. And, they don't care if you can't keep up, or you drop out.
My step-daughter is a HS teacher, which she always wanted to be, and teach in impacted area too. She teaches at 80% Hispanic student body, which she is too. She was told she might want to "modify her grading process" since she was handing out too many D's and F's, and it was impacting their school's score.
Her brother, my step-son, was in gifted programs his whole education. His HS honors teacher told the class they should go to Jr. College (likely because they lived in lower socioeconomic neighborhood). He ended up with acceptance letters from Duke, Berkeley, USC, Harvard, Notre Dame and Northwestern.
