During a portion of an interview with the Fox News Channel that took place on Monday and was aired on Tuesday’s broadcast of “Special Report,” 2024 Republican presidential candidate former President Donald Trump stated that while “there are people that say I saved 100 million lives” with the coronavirus vaccine, “I really don’t want to talk about it, because, as a Republican, it’s not a great thing to talk about, because, for some reason, it’s just not.” And that he does oppose mandates, but left the matter up to state governors. Trump also said that his 2024 rival, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) pushed the vaccine before turning against it.

I will never forgive the mandates, masks, psyops, and force used with these "vaccines". The government does not own us, or our kids. This was all done to fill the pockets of the pharmacy company, as they, and everyone else knew everyone did not need these "vaccines". I hope the perpetrators pay for what they have done.

Covid is in the past. 2020 is in the past. Talk about the future. Stop inflation. Stop wokeness. Give us a government that picks people for competence rather than how many boxes they check. Stop the climate con game. Stop meddling in foreign wars. Give us a government that provides essential services but otherwise leaves us alone. Give us judges that know The Constitution and will follow it. Stop the freak show. Seal our borders. Make it safe to walk the streets.. Give us our country back.

Why does he have to always blame and point out other people's wrongs? It is so immature. Just talk about what you will do to help us now. Stop attacking other people all the time. He is so petulant. I never liked that about him.

I give Trump the benefit of the doubt on this one about the vaccines. If you remember, Biden and Harris and a lot of folks refused to take "Trump's vaccine" if it were approved before the 2020 election. Pfizer deliberately delayed positive reports about the vaccine until after the election. At the time, the vaccine was (and may still be) a good option for the high-risk patient population. But once the Sleepy Creepy Crooked President Uncle Joe regime took over, they wanted to carpet bomb America with the vaccine, especially among low-risk groups. Such a decision, especially with products that were released under an "experimental" or emergency protocol was totally unwise. The vaccine should have been reserved (and maybe still should be) for those high risk groups. I have a history of heart disease, over-weight, borderline pre-diabetic. I probably fit in the risk groups. Got the shot four times and had COVID twice, both extremely mild -- the first time I tested positive was after my wife had the disease for several days and after several tests, I finally tested positive. I had colds worse than that one. Did the vaccine keep me from getting a more severe case of the virus? Maybe, maybe not, but that's a risk I (in consultation with my doctors) decided to take. Along with other medications, including monoclonial antibodies.

It’s true Trump can never admit to any mistakes he might have made, but he can call out others who made decisions about locking us down and mandates. Hubby and I had Covid in early 2021 and never got a single shot or booster because we knew we had natural immunity. One thing I’ve questioned is why did Trump get the shots and praised them when he got Covid? Did he not believe in natural immunity? And saving 100 million people? Come on, man.

One of Trump's major failings is he can't reverse himself on the covid vaccines because he championed their quick development. Trump is more or less parroting the health agencies and drug company's lines.

Gov. DeSantis breached the vaccine blame game earlier against President Trump. True Trump was president and made many early decisions then today he would not. .....like many of us. What some of us forget is the UK model showing 22 million Americans would die from this unknown rapidly expanding international virus. All of the in place "experts" were warning of a Black Plague. The things President Trump accomplished at the federal level were amazing. Incubators, thousands of hospital beds from coast to coast became available within weeks to states that were heavily affected. All with out mandates or forced shut downs . He left it up to the Governors. MAGA

I am not buying that Trump is the only person that can fix this country's problems. Posters make him out to be some god of sorts and I absolutely was not on board with that thinking for Barack Obama nor am I for Donald Trump. I don't give Donald Trump the benefit of this doubt ( everything covid) just because he did other things correctly. I still cannot understand why Ben Carson wasn't playing a major role in covid. Handing out stimulus money left and right is still questionable with me. My assessment of Donald Trump is that he really is an independent but ran as a conservative. Too many times he tried to keep both sides happy but to me in the end, it is always about Donald Trump. As I have said before, I will vote for him if he is the nominee but in the last few months, I am seeing a side that I do not like and it usually erupts when he is trying to take down Ron DeSantis. I guess the more I see of that with Donald Trump, the more he is pushing me to Ron DeSantis. . .

Sadly, Trump does not change. He still supports his pandemic handling. Never mind it cost tens of millions of jobs, killed thousands of businesses, took away rights, and contributed to his loss. The bad news is all is political opponents (Democrat, Republican, and international) have a copy of his playbook by now and have adjusted their strategies accordingly. How is a second term going to be any better than his first? If anything, it might be worse. I look at DeSantis and I see Bush, McCain, and Romney. In other words, a fat cat Republican. Will he fix anything? I don't get any positive impression from the guy. And then we have Befuddled Biden. We all know what we will get from him. Four more years of hardship and loss of rights. Considering how many people don't see that, I am left wondering if that isn't what this country needs. People gotta wake up!

Why the SCOTUS decision on affirmative

The SCOTUS ruling overturning affirmative action at Harvard and UNC will have an obvious impact on colleges across the country, at least at those colleges that exist in states which haven’t already passed laws against the consideration of race in admissions. But it’s very possible that the impact of the ruling will go beyond colleges and impact corporate DEI programs as well. Though the two things are legally distinct they also operate in parallel, meaning the reasoning that led to the elimination of race-based admissions would seem to apply to efforts around hiring as well. DEI advocates predict companies will be next to face hostility. “Corporate America’s looking

The Harvard University president, vice president, provost, and 15 deans signed an email reaffirming the institution’s commitment to diversity after the Supreme Court struck down affirmative action on Thursday. The Supreme Court ruled that the race-conscious admissions policies practiced by Harvard University and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill violate the Equal Protection Clause of the 14th Amendment. The ruling was 6-3 against UNC and 6-2 against Harvard. Chief Justice John Roberts wrote the majority opinion, and Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson recused herself from the Harvard case due to conflicts of interests.

The Supreme Court on Thursday unanimously ruled in favor of a Christian letter carrier who refused to work on Sundays because of his faith, arguing that the federally funded United States Postal Service violated Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 requiring employers to accommodate the religious practice of their staff with limited exceptions. All nine justices on the bench, including progressives Justice Kagan, Sotomayor, and Brown-Jackson, ruled against the USPS. The case involved Gerald Groff, an evangelical Christian who believes for religious reasons that Sunday should be devoted to worship and rest. While working for the USPS, Groff did not work on Sundays

The Supreme Court on Thursday ruled that the affirmative action admission policies of Harvard and the University of North Carolina, which gave weight to a would-be student's race, are unconstitutional. The court's majority opinion said that both Harvard's and UNC's affirmative action programs "unavoidably employ race in a negative manner, involve racial stereotyping, and lack meaningful end points." "We have never permitted admissions programs to work in that way, and we will not do so today," the opinion said.

Astronomers have been able to “hear” the celestial hum of powerful gravitational waves, created by collisions between black holes, echoing across the universe for the first time. Their observations reveal that the waves — including some that slowly undulate as they pass through our Milky Way galaxy — occur at different frequencies and oscillate for decades. The discovery could help scientists better understand cosmic phenomena like supermassive black holes and how often galaxies merge. Gravitational waves, initially predicted by Albert Einstein in 1916, are ripples in space-time that were first detected in 2015. Astronomers found the waves by tracking pulsars, or the dense remnants of cores

On Tuesday, the Supreme Court shot down the controversial independent state legislature theory, which would have had the potential to radically change the way elections are run across the country. According to the fringe legal theory, legislatures have exclusive and near-absolute power in setting the rules of federal elections, without being challenged by state courts. But a majority of justices voted to reaffirm that state courts can curtail the actions

WASHINGTON — The Supreme Court on Tuesday declined to impose new limits on state courts reviewing certain election-related issues by ruling against Republicans in North Carolina fighting for a congressional district map that would heavily favor their candidates.
