The Times of London expose is reverberating through the Internet. “It has become increasingly clear that the Wuhan Institute of Virology was involved in the creation, promulgation, and cover-up of the Covid-19 pandemic.” Although the story itself is behind a paywall, enough details are available in the editor’s tweet to piece together the gist of it. "The microbiologist Professor Richard Ebright told us this work was “by far the most reckless and dangerous research on coronaviruses – or indeed on any viruses – known to have been undertaken at any time in any location”. We talked to experts in the US who had been tasked with investigating how

The Biden administration could not be virtue-signaling any harder about the sixth month of the leftist liturgical calendar, Pride. It raised the most extreme version of the rainbow flag on the two-story White House portico, flanked by two American flags. Then the president’s official Twitter account shared a picture of this garish display and announced, “America is a nation of Pride.”
Yes, dear readers, you now live in a nation dedicated to the deadliest of the seven deadly sins. As such, you probably knew how all of this would turn out. As PJ Media’s Catherine Salgado reported, the White House Pride event turned into the degenerate display anyone familiar

As Donald Trump faces charges from the Biden administration over his possession of classified documents, many of his supporters and advocates have pointed out how the administration’s actions parallel corruption long associated with third-world dictatorships.
And yet, during a press conference last November, Joe Biden actually promised he would do exactly that when asked about Trump’s possible return to the White House.
“So the entire genesis of that G7 conversation was tied to your predecessor, who is about to launch another campaign. So how do you reassure them, if that is the reason for their questioning, that the former president will not return or that his political movement,

U.S. Senator Joni Ernst (R-IA) is again taking action against (literally) weaponized bureaucracy by leading the charge in the upper chamber to ensure the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) is not using tax dollars from hardworking Americans to arm its employees — and going beyond just that to disarm the taxman and move the IRS' investigation division over to the Justice Department.
According to an Open the Books report released last month, the IRS has spent more than $35 million since 2006 on firearms, ammunition, and tactical gear for its glorified and federally empowered accountant force, with some $10 million of that taxpayer-funded armament coming since just 2020.

Great news: we at PJ Media know you value your time, so as a public service, we’ll save you five or so years of hand-wringing about the Donald Trump has super secret documents in his house! case and just tell you upfront that it’s BS. I mean, we know how fun it is for the media wing of the Democrat Party to gleefully spin The Walls Are Closing in on Donald Trump! stories, but we’ll cut to the chase by telling you why these charges would make a fine addition to my compost pile.
First, the setup. Just as American Democrats were getting heartburn over Joe Biden’s bribery allegations,

Jennifer Van Laar, at our sister site RedState, just dropped a bombshell exclusive report about the founder of Bursima:
Burisma Holdings founder Mykola Zlochevsky, who allegedly paid a total of $10 million in bribes to Joe and Hunter Biden in 2015 and 2016 in exchange for then-Vice President Joe Biden’s assistance in getting Ukrainian prosecutor Viktor Shokin fired, is believed to be an asset of Russia’s Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) by the United States intelligence community, according to a national security source speaking to RedState on condition of anonymity.
The anonymous source told RedState, “The US intelligence community has a high degree of confidence in their assessment of Zlochevsky as SVR.

Having no discernible skills pays well, as does offering no good or service to your customers. If that sounds odd, let me add a caveat: If you’re a Biden.
The family of President Joe Biden has managed to rake in millions upon millions of dollars, a lot of which comes from foreign companies and governments, without registering as a foreign agent or seemingly providing literally anything in return. That’s a pretty sweet deal.
Weirdly, this “perfectly legal” activity is something none of them want to talk about. If I were having millions thrown at me for some magical reason I’d want everyone to know why, if only more rich people

A recently amended California bill would add “affirming” the sexual transition of a child to the state’s standard for parental responsibility and child welfare—making any parent who doesn’t affirm transgenderism for their child guilty of abuse under California state law.
AB 957 passed California’s State Assembly on May 3, but a co-sponsor amended it after hours in California’s State Senate on June 6.
Assembly Member Lori Wilson, D-Suisun City, wrote the bill and introduced it on Feb. 14. State Sen. Scott Wiener, D-San Francisco, co-sponsored it. Wilson’s child identifies as transgender.
Originally, AB 957 required courts to consider whether a child’s parents were “gender-affirming” in custody cases. Wiener’s amendment completely rewrites California’s

Fresh from the looming trainwreck that is the deal to increase the debt limit, four Republican senators recently signed onto legislation that would require the Biden administration to study the feasibility of . . . a national tax on energy that would be collected at the gas pump and in electricity and heating bills.
The four Republicans — Senator Cramer (R-ND), Senator Cassidy (R-LA), Senator Graham (R-SC), and Senator Murkowski (R-AK) — joined five Democrats in asking Team Biden to determine the amount of energy used — and carbon dioxide emitted — by various countries in the production of essentially everything that makes modern life possible (aluminum, iron, steel, plastic,

Southern Baptists are meeting in New Orleans for their annual convention this week. Megachurch Pastor Rick Warren, author of the bestselling book The Purpose-Driven Life, is waging war with the Southern Baptist Convention (SBC), hoping to push the denomination to the left on the issue of female pastors.
Warren, now “retired” but still listed as the Founding Pastor on Saddleback Church’s website, is pressuring the SBC to allow female pastors, contrary to clear biblical teaching that pastoral roles are reserved for men.
Warren has been all over Twitter, TikTok, and YouTube this past week, viciously attacking his opponents (while calling for love and reconciliation). He’s become increasingly combative, calling his opponents

Regardless of what you think about the Trump indictment, it’s hard not to believe that it smacks of the Democrats’ endless attempts to nail Donald Trump for — something. We’ve gotten used to it over the past few years, and these legal maneuvers always seem to play out the same way.
“We’re all familiar with the ‘Trump facing…’ news loop by now,” writes Freddy Gray at The Spectator. “America is stuck in Trump legal groundhog day — he’s remorselessly prosecuted, over and over, on so many fronts. He always responds the same way, protesting his INNOCENCE in capital letters on Truth Social, saying he can’t believe this is happening in America.

Hot time, summer in the city,
Back of my neck getting dirty and gritty.
Been down, isn’t it a pity?
Doesn’t seem to be a shadow in the city
All around, people looking half-dead
Walking on the sidewalk, hotter than a match head
~ Summer in the City The Lovin’ Spoonful 1966
Summer is shaping up to be a hot number in the nation’s capital. Both the temps of the pavement sweltering and baking, and that of the local populace, slowly frying with the normal irritations that the suffocating furnace of a city summer brings, may well reach the boiling point. Fry-an-egg-on-the-sidewalk scorching. Add in a crime wave that only seems to be accelerating,
