California Bill Would Charge Any Parent

A recently amended California bill would add “affirming” the sexual transition of a child to the state’s standard for parental responsibility and child welfare—making any parent who doesn’t affirm transgenderism for their child guilty of abuse under California state law. AB 957 passed California’s State Assembly on May 3, but a co-sponsor amended it after hours in California’s State Senate on June 6. Assembly Member Lori Wilson, D-Suisun City, wrote the bill and introduced it on Feb. 14. State Sen. Scott Wiener, D-San Francisco, co-sponsored it. Wilson’s child identifies as transgender. Originally, AB 957 required courts to consider whether a child’s parents were “gender-affirming” in custody cases. Wiener’s amendment completely rewrites California’s

Such a threat is worthy of the use of force to oppose, including deadly force; however, I don't look for California to include that in their laws on deadly force as a defense to prosecution.

So basically, if you are a parent who does not want a child younger than the age of reason to have their genitals mutilated, the child will be taken away from you. Welcome to California.

#6, what they want, and how they view everything, is California will lead the way on the issue, and it will be adopted in many other states. However, this bill seems to go a lot further and deeper into the weeds of other aspects of parental authority and responsibilities. This should become a big issue for the 2024 campaigns in other states, and especially in swing districts.

The Biden administration could not be virtue-signaling any harder about the sixth month of the leftist liturgical calendar, Pride. It raised the most extreme version of the rainbow flag on the two-story White House portico, flanked by two American flags. Then the president’s official Twitter account shared a picture of this garish display and announced, “America is a nation of Pride.” Yes, dear readers, you now live in a nation dedicated to the deadliest of the seven deadly sins. As such, you probably knew how all of this would turn out. As PJ Media’s Catherine Salgado reported, the White House Pride event turned into the degenerate display anyone familiar

As Donald Trump faces charges from the Biden administration over his possession of classified documents, many of his supporters and advocates have pointed out how the administration’s actions parallel corruption long associated with third-world dictatorships. And yet, during a press conference last November, Joe Biden actually promised he would do exactly that when asked about Trump’s possible return to the White House. “So the entire genesis of that G7 conversation was tied to your predecessor, who is about to launch another campaign. So how do you reassure them, if that is the reason for their questioning, that the former president will not return or that his political movement,

Fresh from the looming trainwreck that is the deal to increase the debt limit, four Republican senators recently signed onto legislation that would require the Biden administration to study the feasibility of . . . a national tax on energy that would be collected at the gas pump and in electricity and heating bills. The four Republicans — Senator Cramer (R-ND), Senator Cassidy (R-LA), Senator Graham (R-SC), and Senator Murkowski (R-AK) — joined five Democrats in asking Team Biden to determine the amount of energy used — and carbon dioxide emitted — by various countries in the production of essentially everything that makes modern life possible (aluminum, iron, steel, plastic,

America’s All Volunteer Force turns 50 this year. Since 1973, the U.S. military has, with rare exceptions, met its annual recruitment goals and improved the quality of the force. Now, however, it is mired in its worst recruiting stretch in history. Last year, the Army missed its recruiting goal by 25% and already predicts it will miss again in 2023. Ditto the Air Force and Navy. Officials cite numerous reasons for the shortfall: low unemployment, a smaller pool of young people qualified to serve, declining public confidence in the military and more. Whatever the reasons, these recruiting failures portend trouble for military readiness.
