Former President Donald Trump on Sunday branded the 37-count federal indictment he faces as nothing more than a “distraction” from the bribery allegations levied against President Biden — while also taking aim at his own ex-attorney general William Barr for not backing him over the classified documents case.
Trump, 76, in an interview with ally Roger Stone, said he doubted it was a “coincidence” that he was charged for allegedly storing hundreds of classified government files at his Mar-a-Lago estate at the same time as Republicans revealed more details regarding an FBI informant’s accusation that Biden took part in a $5 million bribery scheme involving the Ukrainian company Burisma.

As long as Barr has been in DC he is almost certainly compromised. Almost everyone in DC is. DC is a crucible of corruption and a seat of cowardice.
"Nice __*__you have there. It would be a shame if something should happen to it/them.

Let me know the next/first time Trump has something positive to say about anyone not in his close circle of friends. I can see why the more Trump talks the more people are turned off unless you are a rabid supporter.

barr did nothing on laptop and God knows what else. was he 'lazy' as djt indicates or 'in' with his DC buddies entrenched in the system, slowwalking anything helpful to djt. or both. in any case he has every reason to badmouth djt taking an occasional time-out when an obvious judicial principle must be upheld.

Anything to distract away from our collapsing economy. Trump indictments. Biden investigation. Trannies everywhere. Wokeism. The list goes on and on. It all is a distraction while the people in charge bankrupt the country.

Barr is a Bush guy who most likely was recommended to Trump by the liberal establishment congressional Republicans who are “under the covers” allied with the Democrats on most DC “system” issues and with the Democrats make up the DC “UniParty”. So how would you expect Barr to respond?

Of course the indictment by the corrupt DOJ on the same day as the file on Biden crimes was opened was to give a willing media something else to talk about. Gen. Flynn said this same Justice Department deceived AG Bill Barr, and Barr didn't get it, and apparently still doesn't.

#4 I'm one of those "rabid" supporter so there's that. Regardless PDJT is right. The current vegetable sliding around the WH is the pathetic fool who has so far gotten away with all manner of malfeasance and corruption. Such as what PDJT is being indicted for. Barr knew that and did nothing.

There is a long list of positive things Trump has said and done for people “not in his close circle of friends”.
Many are available for viewing publicly & fairly easily accessible online. Others are less easily discovered, but are known and have been shared & seen by those who haven’t been completely lost in the constant bombardment of negativity used by nefarious forces aligned against Trump.
Highest on the list of positive Trump comments said & deeds done are those about the American people & for this country.
Astounding that anyone can ignore the real negativity behind the horrific things said and done to a man who has sacrificed as much as Trump has done to stand against those who are a deathly threat to this Republic, through ignorance or by design, and focus on the negative things he has said in response.

Driving back from dentist this afternoon and listening to the Andrew Willow show on satellite radio. He was outlining how BEFORE Trump even reached the bottom of the escalator, the Left (and the establishment right) were gunning for him.
So yeah #4 - Trump has every right to say nothing nice about Barr - never part of his inner circle. Barr sat on the Hunter laptop, covered up for the murder of Jeffrey Epstein (see Tucker Carlson on Twitter), the FBI form just recently revealed to the public about $5 million bribe of Joe and of course, the video with audio of Joe Biden bragging about threatening $ 1 billion in aid to Ukraine if the Ukraine government didn't fire the prosecutor investigating Burisma - this was right around the time the FBI form documents Joe taking that bribe.

By Jack Smith and Weissman's reasoning, a thief stealing $50,000 could be indicted on 50,000 felony counts.

He’s too interested in being the democrat media darling & was afraid to confront the 7th floor JD! If he had cleaned it up like he promised our country would be a different place! He Never trashes Biden!!!!

Depending on other politicians to pick your Attorney General (twice, it appears) is no defense regarding one's own lack of preparation in selecting the most important subordinates within an administration but Trump always gets a pass, with the blame squarely on others, like Christie. Following Christie's dubious "advice" gets a pass, as well. That said, I still want Trump to beat the rap and remain a free man, allowing real voters to choose Trump's future prospects, while his false accusers pay the piper by the loss of their personal freedom in a federal prison.
