On Friday’s broadcast of Fox News Radio’s “Guy Benson Show,” author, National Review Contributing Editor, Fox News Contributor, and former Assistant U.S. Attorney Andrew McCarthy stated that while former President Donald Trump does have ample reason to say he’s been singled out, the indictment against him is “a devastating document. If they can prove half of it, he’s toast.” And he believes more than half of what’s in the indictment can be proven. McCarthy stated, [relevant remarks begin around 35:35] “It’s a devastating document. If they can prove half of it, he’s toast. National Review says it all. I agree that the ‘Hillary Defense’ argument won’t work. But certainly their argument has been carefully put together and could go the distance to the Appeals Court or SCOTUS level. There is no less than or more than 50% here. The popular support for Trump will play a key role.

McCarthy is very good on legal nuances, but you have to take one step back in order to see the forest for the trees. Even if they have a few good points against Trump, you cannot escape the fact that this is just one part of unrelenting lawfare against the very existence of our country. It's not "whataboutism" to cite the free pass given to Biden and Hillary. It's seeing that this has NOTHING to do with what Trump has or has not done and ALL about preventing our last chance to reclaim our Republic from Deep State tyranny.

Andrew McCarthy’s gloomy prognostication is great news for Trump. From the beginning of the Russian collusion hoax, through the first impeachment and thereafter McCarthy has time and time again been wrong. His hatred of Trump as well as his fealty to the corrupt Department of Justice has ruined his ability to think.

I guess I am a prude, but it never occurred to me to imagine that at a White House, even a guest of the President of the United States would disrobe. Silly me. I keep on forgetting that the whole point of alphabet ideology is to strip all norms and dignity from Western values and replace them with…this. There has been a lot of angst about the manner in which the White House was draped with a Pride flag at the place of honor in the center of a display. I share that outrage, but by now I just shrug when I see such a shameless elevation of an anti-Western ideology

Former President Donald Trump has pleaded not guilty to 37 charges related to alleged mishandling of classified documents. Trump’s lawyers asked for a jury trial during the former president’s arraignment Tuesday at a federal courthouse in Miami. “We most certainly enter a plea of not guilty,” Trump attorney Todd Blanche told the judge. Before the arraignment, deputy marshals booked the former president and took electronic copies of his fingerprints. They did not to take a mugshot of Trump since he is easily recognizable. The booking process took about 10 minutes. Trump’s aide and co-defendant, Walt Nauta was also arrested, fingerprinted and processed.

San Francisco may not be irretrievably lost as a viable metropolis — yet. But its status as one of America’s great cities is gone and it’s hard to see how the once-golden city can return to its dazzling glory as a center of art, architecture, and commerce. It’s not unprecedented in America. St. Louis, Cleveland, Buffalo — all were once thriving cities. All have since lost at least half their population, and those who remain have failed to regenerate the vibrancy, the energy of the early to mid-20th century. But what’s truly shocking about the demise of San Francisco has been the speed at which the city has fallen

With all the chaos that has permeated the cultural arena over the last decade or so, it’s easy for conservatives to get discouraged. Things have truly gone off the rails, with a level of depravity that was once thought to be unthinkable becoming mainstream. At the forefront of that has been the battle over transgender ideology. Children are being pumped full of puberty blockers, and in some cases, being physically mutilated by surgeries, all under the ridiculous guise of “transitioning.” Nothing is sacred for the far-left, not even the health and well-being of children. Yet, amidst all the darkness, there is hope peaking through.

America’s All Volunteer Force turns 50 this year. Since 1973, the U.S. military has, with rare exceptions, met its annual recruitment goals and improved the quality of the force. Now, however, it is mired in its worst recruiting stretch in history. Last year, the Army missed its recruiting goal by 25% and already predicts it will miss again in 2023. Ditto the Air Force and Navy. Officials cite numerous reasons for the shortfall: low unemployment, a smaller pool of young people qualified to serve, declining public confidence in the military and more. Whatever the reasons, these recruiting failures portend trouble for military readiness.
