If Bud Light sales continue to lag, the brand risks losing shelf space at major retailers to competitors and 'locking in' lower market share, a former Anheuser-Busch executive has claimed. In recent weeks, Bud Light sales have been down roughly a quarter from a year ago, as the brand faces conservative backlash over an April marketing deal with transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney. Anson Frericks, the former US president of sales and distribution for St. Louis-based Anheuser-Busch, said that retailers such as Walmart and Kroger typically 'reset' their shelf space allocations in the spring and fall, based on sales data.
For the fall reset in September, 'they generally
Gee..... that's too bad. Now, I am looking for Target to go out of business. Let's move!

When you intentionally make a predictably stupid business decision, what do you expect? Anyone could have seen this coming if they'd just bothered to look. The public was never on board with all the gay worship, and now they are fed up.

Gee, I would think Target would give them all the shelf space they could want -- since groomers tend to stick together.
I saw a meme yesterday that said the new biggest put down you can say to someone is "You must buy your Bud Lite at Target".

Sounds like more great news.
Let's do it for all the INBEV brands. It's the whole company that is so hateful.

They're trying with new commercials. Last night on TV I saw Budwieser has a new can with Harley Davidson logo on it. I wonder if Harley will be coming out with a commemorative pride model?

Wait a minute! Where's my violin? Ah, here it is and I'm playing hearts-and-flowers for the funeral of Anheuser-Busch. My, they make a lovely corpse, do they not?

In times past I never paid much attention to supermarket stock levels of things I don't buy, but now I can see for myself that people just aren't buying Budweiser or Bud Light. I mean not one 12-pack or case has been bought. The power of the customer: it's kind of awesome when it's unleashed.

1) I am surprised that BL is only down 25%. Are we really to believe that the other 75% are Dem Pride types? The majority are likely lo-info customers who are unaware of any of this.
2) What the fed-up customers really want is something that A-B is not going to provide: a full-throated denunciation of the whole trans-culture thing. The woke execs and the activists will never let that happen, so A-B is going to take permanent damage.
3) I hope Coors and the other competitors are looking at their sales bonuses and realizing that these are the result of customer dissatisfaction with A-B's practices. The same thing is very likely to happen to them if they pull a similarly woke stunt.

Don't let up beer drinkers. They launched a campaign to harm our country. Consumers should end them.

One of our condo's leftist neighbors was prancing around in a Rainbow Pervert tee shirt, walking her dog this morning—maybe a Target variety.

One of my all time favorite beers was Spaten Optimator. The Spaten brand was naught by InBrev. It changed a little but was still good.
Now I will buy Paulaner Salvator instead. This is the double-bock malt liquor that started it all centuries ago and is still good.

Call me nuts, but how about a TV commercial / statement from Anheuser-Bush exec's where they ADMIT they were bending to the will of the SJW minority and that they have no business with social issues, their only business is selling beer, and beg for forgiveness & promise to NEVER do this again.

#13, considering that nearly all American corporate CEOs are narcissists and most are sociopathic and some even psychopathic, there's one thing they'll NEVER do, and that is to admit that they made a mistake. The reason CEOs have layers and layers of subordinates is to have others to blame.
I now believe the female horse-faced VP of Marketing, who made the disastrous tranny mistake, was actually working under orders from her higher-ups to do something to raise their "ESG Score" to make Black Rock happy. She did not do this in a vacuum! Perhaps she should now be celebrated for "sacrificing herself" to raise corporate awareness of the entire ESG insanity?

I would encourage fellow beer drinkers to go old school and clean the shelves of beers from days gone by if you find them. The message being, we don't need change, we need what used to be: Start with Schlitz, Old Style, Natty Bo, Schafflys......old beers that carry no political message other than--- leave us the hell alone. Distributors will notice where sales go, and the rest will follow. I believe capitalisit economists call this substitute goods.

Glad to see the boycott is still working.
I haven’t had any Budweiser in years; I prefer microbrews and some of the lesser-known brands that I enjoy. I stocked up my patio fridge the other day with Sierra Nevada Pale Ale and Negra Modelo.

It isn't just "Bud Lite".
According to Wikipedia....not the most reliable source, these are InBev beer brands.
IMO, avoiding all of them would be a good thing, but do what you want. I don't know anything
much about beers, but tried to group them sensibly here, to make the list more compact.
Some of these names!??...is "Natural Daddy" actually a beer? How bizarre!
Bud Dry, Bud Extra, Bud Lime, Budweiser Black Crown
Bud Light, Bud Light Chelada, Bud Light Lime
Busch, Busch Light
Corona, Corona Extra, Corona Latte
Estrella
Modelo Especial, Modelo Light, Negra Modelo
Pacífico
Victoria
Natural Light, Natural, Natural Ice, Natty Daddy
Shock Top Belgian White
Peeterman Artois, Stella Artois, Artois Bock
Ziegenbock
