In a televised address to the nation on Sunday, Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky explained that bringing that fight back into Russian territory is “inevitable” and that attacks on Moscow are “absolutely fair.”
“Ukraine is getting stronger. Gradually, the war is returning to the territory of Russia — to its symbolic centers and military bases, and this is an inevitable, natural, and absolutely fair process,” Zelensky said in prepared remarks.
“Russian aggression has gone bankrupt on the battlefield. Today is the 522nd day of the so-called ‘special military operation,’ which the Russian leadership expected to last for a week or two,” he added .
The president’s comments came just hours

Former President Donald Trump’s legal woes are affecting his campaign in more ways than one. On the one hand, they have boosted his popularity among members of the conservative base, who see the wave of politically motivated indictments as a brazen attempt to use the legal system to influence the outcome of the upcoming presidential election. However, new reports show that these issues are making a significant dent in his campaign’s war chest.
So far, the political action committee supporting Trump’s bid for the White House has spent a considerable sum of money on legal fees:

New York City Mayor Eric Adams (D) has reportedly thrown hundreds of millions of taxpayer dollars at a medical company, tasked previously with testing for COVID-19, to bus border crossers and illegal aliens out of the sanctuary city.
Since the spring of last year, more than 90,000 border crossers and illegal aliens have arrived in New York City. Adams has long criticized Texas Gov. Greg Abbott (R) for busing migrants to the sanctuary city, but recent reports reveal he has started a nearly identical busing program.
A report from the New York Times details how a medical company called DocGo was awarded more than $400 million in local taxpayer dollars

Trucking giant Yellow collapsed on Sunday, ceasing operations immediately and leaving some 30,000 workers without jobs.
The closure is the biggest in terms of jobs and revenue in the U.S. trucking industry, according to The Wall Street Journal - which first reported its shutdown. The company, which received $700 million in federal COVID relief funds in 2020, is preparing to file for bankruptcy and is in talks to sell off all or parts of the business. The nearly 100-year-old firm is known for its competitive pricing and has more than 12,000 trucks shipping freight across the US for brands including Walmart and Home Depot.
But in recent years

Former Gov. Chris Christie (R-NJ), a candidate for the 2024 Republican presidential nomination, said Sunday on CNN’s “State of the Union” that former President Donald Trump would be “out on bail” during the presidential campaign.
Therefore, according to Christie, Trump can’t beat President Joe Biden.
Christie said, “You can’t say there was no underlying potential crime here. This was the withholding on classified confidential information from the government, after 18 months of asking Donald Trump to return it voluntarily. Not only did he not return it, he lied about having it. This is not the kind of thing we can’t do. I want you to think about the potential effect

Hunter Biden’s abandoned laptop is filled with contracts and agreements between him and foreign business partners that could shine new light on his business dealings, and potentially implicate his father, insiders around the first son told The Post.
Hundreds of documents are littered among the tens of thousands of emails contained on the laptop — but the files were not downloaded onto the device, and investigators cannot open most of them. During his father’s vice presidency and after, Hunter Biden and his family made millions of dollars from foreign sources trading on the family name, according to whistleblowers and bank records unearthed by the House Oversight Committee.

WILMINGTON, Delaware, - A Florida judge on Friday rejected a Walt Disney Co (DIS.N) request to dismiss a lawsuit by an oversight district, a move that could make it harder for the entertainment giant to pursue its own case against Governor Ron DeSantis as part of a yearlong feud.
The ruling allows the oversight district to pursue its case that seeks to void "backroom deals" favorable to Disney that were struck with a prior district board earlier this year. If those deals were voided, the district has said it would nearly wipe out Disney's federal case against DeSantis. A Disney spokesperson said the decision "has no bearing" on the federal lawsuit

US officials are searching for Chinese malware hidden in various defense systems that could disrupt military communications and resupply operations, The New York Times reported Saturday.
The administration believes malicious computer code has been hidden inside “networks controlling power grids, communications systems and water supplies that feed military bases,” officials told the Times. The discovery has heightened concerns that hackers could “disrupt US military operations in the event of a conflict,” according to the Times. The two nations have been increasingly at odds over Taiwan as well as over China’s actions in the Indo-Pacific.
One congressional official told the newspaper that the malware was “a ticking time bomb” that could allow China

Former President Donald Trump was in Iowa on Friday, along with some of the other Republican candidates for president in 2024, at the Iowa GOP Lincoln Day Dinner event. Trump wrapped up the night, and several other candidates spoke before him.
Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis spoke out against Bidenomics and cracked a joke about the cocaine in the White House, indicating that it never would have happened, had he been in the White House.
As we reported earlier, things didn’t go well for former Texas congressman and now almost unknown candidate, Will Hurd. He took a jab at Trump, saying Trump wasn’t running to make America Great Again, but to stay out

President Joe Biden forgot to sign an executive order as “The Washington Post March” was playing him out after he delivered remarks on “Bidenomics” in Auburn, Maine, on Friday.
“God bless you all, and may God protect our troops. Thank you very much,” Biden concluded before going to shake hands.
After a few moments, Biden made his way away from the crowd and said, “I’m coming back to shake your hands, but I forgot to sign the order. All that talk and no action.”
The executive order is on “federal research and support of domestic manufacturing in the United States,” he said.

Another aide to Donald Trump has been charged in the Mar-a-Lago classified documents case.
Carlos De Oliveira, Mar-a-Lago's head of maintenance, has been named as the third defendant alongside the former president and his valet Walt Nauta.
In addition, prosecutors are piling more charges on former President Donald Trump. They are additional charges related to obstruction of justice and willful retention of national defense information. Special Counsel Jack Smith's team added them to the existing indictment Thursday evening.

A series of internal Facebook emails obtained by the House Judiciary Committee confirm that the Biden White House placed significant pressure on the company to crack down on “misinformation” related to the Covid pandemic in early 2021.
The emails, released publicly by committee chairman Jim Jordan on Thursday, suggest that in some cases Facebook and Instagram complied with the White House’s content-moderation requests in order to avoid public and private backlash.
One April 2021 email sent by a Facebook employee on behalf of Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg and COO Sheryl Sandberg acknowledged that, “We are facing continued pressure from external stakeholders, including the [Biden] White House.”
