bad for Biden’s reelection

Right now, Joe Biden’s biggest enemy in the 2024 election is Joe Biden.
If you are an incumbent president, there are many possible recipes for success in re-election—but slow and declining economic growth topped with persistently high inflation is not one of them. The economic news is ugly for the country, which will get over it eventually, and even uglier for Joe Biden, who may not get over it at all.
After two consecutive quarters of “Don’t Call This a Recession!” GDP contraction, growth had got up to more than 3 percent in the third quarter of last year, and then it declined to 2.6 percent in the next quarter

Take a lesson from Ronald Reagan. "Are you better off than you were four years ago?"
It takes on a personal impact for those who buy groceries and gasoline. Also, those trying to buy or sell a house in this recession. Lets not forget those afraid to walk the streets in our large cities like they did four years ago.

All this is irrelevant when voter fraud can make up the difference and MSM will coddle the DNC. Why is that the focus on how a Republican can win always avoids the more paramount issue of voter fraud?

Maybe the author has some good things to say, but I couldn't get past the snipes at Trump. Another never Trumper, no thanks.

Compare the economy during the pandemic shutdown to what we have today.
Biden has benefited from the rebound.
Are we better off than 4 years ago?
Depends on who you ask.

It didn't seem to make a lot of difference in the 2022 mid-terms.
I am now of the opinion that what we used to know about elections and what will motivate voters is no longer true. Left of center voters and many independents will tolerate bad economics corruption and incompetence so long as said politician is not a republican, promises freebies, promises to stick it to the rich and is onboard with whatever the moral depravity of the day is. They no longer know or care what's in the constitution. They no longer care or know how the government is supposed to work. They no longer know or care about history. And they certainly no longer believe in G_d or morality. Any violation of the law, constitution, societal norms, civility or rights is perfectly fine, so long as said violations advance their agenda.

The economics that counts is the unlimited supply of paper ballots.
They must keep ballot security/chain of custody free and easy as the Dim budgets.

Not sure why Kevin Williamson is complaining about Joe Biden since the current regime is the one he voted for in 2020. A columnist for the rabidly anti-Trump National Review, Williamson hated Trump from the moment he descended the golden escalator. You got what you voted for, Kevin. Stop embarrassing yourself.

Somone should be keeping a running tab of all those things that are bad for Bliden's re-eleciton, or - better yet - a tab of those things that are good for his re-eleciton (less time-consuming).

Biden will get 90 million votes -- although only 60 million voted. The courts won't allow anyone to examine the ballots.

We are three generations beyond the great depression and WWII. Most have never suffered true deprivation. I dealt with it often with my kid's, and now my grandkid's, wastefulness; They think prosperity is endless. My grandparents and parents wasted nothing and I took heed. I hope I am wrong but nothing lasts and hard times will eventually hit.
My point is that most people don't change until they are forced and when things are going well don't pay proper attention to unwelcome possibilities. That is why the media will bust their as sses convincing potential voters that evetything is well and improving.

I have to agree with #7. I have had very little hope after the red wave that didn’t happen. My fear is Biden/Harris will “win” again against Trump. What will Trump do for an encore? The democrats will never stop hating him and will vote accordingly. That doesn’t mean I think DeSantis or anyone else will do any better.

The smoke and mirrors Fed. Worst ever. Memories of bullet trains never built, Monopoly money, and airlifted baby formula will never leave my mind.

Not to worry. High number of mail in ballots, coupled with low voter security will win the day.
