on power plants that fuel nation's grid

The Biden administration is reportedly finalizing a proposal that would force fossil fuel-fired power plants to substantially curb emissions or utilize costly carbon capture technology. The proposal — which will soon be released by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) — is expected to require coal- and natural gas-fired power plants to cut or capture the vast majority of their carbon dioxide emissions by 2040, The New York Times reported on Saturday, citing officials briefed on a draft of the plan. The regulation, if finalized, would represent the first-ever federal action curbing power plant emissions. "EPA cannot comment because the proposals are currently under interagency review,"

If you don't have a generator, better get one. The rolling blackouts ARE coming. Generac has excellent whole house units powered by natural gas or propane....if the Dems haven't made that illegal, too. A relative installed one in her rural home, doesn't worry about the thunderstorm power outages that are common in the SE. But the Dems HATE IT that we have comfortable, reliable power, 24/7. They want us to be like other third world stinkholes....lots of power outages, less convenience all around. They are making all the appliance no longer work, too.

Power plants that have ALREADY rebuilt and reconfigured several times to meet everchanging regulations, caps, and ceilings...at GREAT EXPENSE, charged to the consumers. The actual solution IF their focus was on green "Power" instead of doing away with Cars/Trucks, would be Nuclear. The footprint and safety of ZERO emission Nukes has been clearly demonstrated to be the best of ALL available options, Compare the track records of Nuclear Submarines, where people LIVE inside a small confined space WITH the nuclear reactor, where a city grid can be run from a docked Nuke sub or carrier. The drawback to trying to build one is COSTS, primarily regulatory, and design oversight generated costs, not actual construction/materials/labor, even the footprint of a major Nuke plant is tiny in comparison to a solar field, but provides 100% steady, scale-able, stored power...on rapid demand. Most of the actual "Footprint" of a nuke site is "Defensive perimeter space", not actual Plant area needed to function...even old tech nukes, still running on COLLEGE CAMPUSES, where they have been incident free for THREE generations now are housed in a small, campus building with zero security required....often the doors are left propped open, students can stick their heads in and take a peek.

Two recent satellite based studies NOAA STARS satellite data indicates the planet has only warmed by half of the temperatures reported and not near those predicted by models. There is no accelerated warming and no existential threat to life on the planet Another satellite study using gravitational methods has found 19,000 previously unknown volcanoes under the oceans. But Global Warming and Climate Change models ignore the contribution of vulcanism to increases in greenhouse gases. I think it was either Von Neuman or Feynman who commented that computer modelling too often devolves into playing games.

The Republicans need to do a video to show how this move by the EPA will cost the average American hundreds more in utility bills. They need to at the same time make sure that the average American knows that China and India are building new Coal Fired electric plants at record pace and the US is doing nothing to try to stop them or to punish them for their actions. They need to make the public understand that if we are forced to turn to EVs, there will not be enough electricity to supply all of the cars and there will be shortages. There is a way to do this that will have an impact on the average working person who has probably never thought about this.

Let's see, curb emissions on an old, relatively inefficient power grid that, as-is, will not be able to keep up with the new proposed policies of having EV vehicles replace gas cars. With the emissions policies and EV mandates, how will this power grid keep up with demand? It probably won't. Here comes the blackout. This demented stupid dolt of a president is making us a third-world country, plus making it even easier for China to become the dominant power in the world. Why is this man still president? Before President Trump, Pelousy and company attempted to pass laws and regulations that "no future Congress or President could alter." The DemoKKKrats and RINOs thought they could actually get away with it. Future right-thinking Congresses have and will correct this insanity and totalitarianism. This was part of why some of Obamacare was easier to delete. In their haste to pass the ACA, the legislation states, over and over, "as the Secretary (of HHS) shall determine." So, when a new Secretary assumed office, they simply deleted and altered the monstrous ACA. Similar proces with Executive Orders (EO), except EO can be completely trashed by a new President. What one President can accomplish with a wave of the leftist, commie pen, a right-thinking, God fearing, loves the founding and foundation of the greatest country on God's green Earth, that President's EOs can protect the individual, not divide us into groups and steal us blind.

WASHINGTON— President Joe Biden predicted Tuesday that the U.S.-Mexico border would be “chaotic for a while” when pandemic-related restrictions end, as 550 active-duty troops began arriving and migrants weighed whether or when to cross. The restrictions have been in place since 2020, and allowed U.S. officials to quickly return migrants over the border. They are ending later this week and the U.S. is putting into place a set of new policies that will clamp down on illegal crossings while offering migrants a legal path to the United States if they apply online through a government app, have a sponsor and pass background checks.

Two weeks ago, President Joe Biden announced that he is running for reelection in 2024, promising to “finish the job”. What exactly does he want to finish, other than American exceptionalism as we know it? America is rapidly imploding on many fronts – financial and economic, cultural, safety, and our place in the world. Does finishing the job mean erasing every achievement of former President Donald Trump? Or is he completing former President Barack Obama’s 2008 campaign promise, "We are five days away from fundamentally transforming the United States of America"?

In today's ridiculous news, I present this picture: Here's @JohnKerry at the coronation on Saturday and whaddaya know? He appears to have found those medals he proudly, flamboyantly threw away in an antiwar protest in 1971. In case you were wondering whether Kerry is still a phony, the answer is yes — yes, he is. Kerry is famous for tossing his Vietnam war medals over a fence, or at least, saying he did, before he later said it was just his ribbons, and then later still saying it (was) some other guy's medals.

Go As Planned

U.S. Air Force abandoned an experiment aimed at boosting pilot training graduation rates for women and minority pilots after the 2021 initiative failed to achieve the intended results and officers privately warned it could violate anti-discrimination policies, according to documents obtained by the Daily Caller News Foundation. As part of the larger military-wide effort to promote diversity in the service’s pilot ranks, the 19th Air Force command near San Antonio, Texas, “clustered” racial minorities and female trainees into one class, dubbed “America’s Class,” to find out if doing so would improve the pilots’ graduation rates.

America's Commander-in-Chief just laid another egg. President Joe Biden wants all Pentagon vehicles to be electric by 2030 – in just six years and seven months. America’s fearless leader previewed this policy on Earth Day 2022. “We’re going to start the process where every vehicle in the United States military, every vehicle, is going to be climate-friendly — every vehicle,” Biden said in Seattle that April 22. “I mean it.” (snip) Those who have worn America’s uniform find this jaw-droppingly stupid. “Anyone who has even a little experience in military logistics recognizes Joe Biden’s E.V. mandate as a political farce,” House Armed Services Committee member Jim Banks (R-Indiana) told me.

Retired U.S. Navy Commander Julianna Vida slammed one Republican Party lawmaker’s criticism of the Navy officially using a drag queen to boost recruitment for the military branch. In a statement provided to Fox News Digital this week, Vida said that Sen. Tommy Tuberville’s assessment that the Navy has become "preoccupied with identity politics" is "destructive" and "undermines" the Navy’s methods of recruiting new members. Vida, who was in the Navy for over 30 years and currently servers on the Naval Academy Alumni Association Board of Trustees, defended the Navy’s use of drag queen recruiting ads as a "critical" method of welcoming "traditionally excluded segments of our population."

Amid the fanfare of King Charles' coronation over the weekend, it was easy to miss President Biden's climate czar John Kerry — who flew to the U.K. without regard for the emissions his travel necessitated — sitting in attendance at the official ceremony. There were some, however, who did pick Kerry out in the crowd and noted something interesting about his appearance. Dressed in a suit, the former Secretary of State was weighed down with service medals from the United States military...the medals he previously was publicly proud to discard as a show of his allegedly strongly held convictions.

The least honorable president in American history had a softball interview with MSNBC’s Stephanie Ruhle on Friday, in which he uttered one of the most outlandish lies of his entire life, which has been filled with his outlandish lies: “I think I’ve proven myself to be honorable, as well as effective.” As Matt Margolis noted Sunday, this was in the course of a paean of boasting from Old Joe Biden that included praise of his own wisdom and experience. But now Joe Biden would have us believe that he is honorable, too? Come on, man! This guy lies every time his lips move. The part about Old Joe being effective, however,

Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s student government president has been removed from his position and faces a recall election due to his role in perpetrating two campus hate-crime hoaxes hanging posters and chalking slurs against LGBTQ people, Latinos and other “marginalized communities.” Undergraduate Association President David Spicer helped hang the offensive posters and chalk the quad once in February and then again in mid-April during Campus Preview Weekend, infuriating his peers — even progressive ones who once championed him as a leader in campus diversity and inclusion.

The judge in the Stormy Daniels hush-money case on Monday barred former President Donald Trump from sharing evidence and other material from the case publicly. Judge Juan Merchan also banned Trump from looking at evidence without his lawyers present. The Manhattan District Attorney's office had sought the order due to the fear that Trump would 'inappropriately' post content from the case on social media or elsewhere.

In the span of a few weeks, the Biden administration has proposed regulations that would effectively ban gas stoves, force a massive shift to electric cars, sharply raise the cost of dishwashers, increase loan costs for frugal borrowers, regulate puddles as “navigable waters,” and limit hunting and fishing across the country. It will soon release a proposed rule targeting power plants with hugely expensive carbon capture mandates. This is just the tip of the spear. As the Competitive Enterprise Institute’s Clyde Wayne Crews put it recently, “President Biden is leading an unprecedented expansion of the administrative state.
