Bud Light finally took some action this week (snip) What was funny about Heinerscheid’s comments about inclusivity was this picture. (snip) Look at this pic of Alissa’s Bud Light team. She talks about diversity & inclusion but I don’t see it here. I mostly see a feminine group of white people who must be out of touch w/ reality & blue collar America. (snip) The Wall Street Journal is now reporting that Heinerscheid’s boss Daniel Blake has also taken a “leave of absence.” (snip) The company has also hired two consultants “with experience in Washington, D.C.’s conservative circles to advise the brand moving forward.”

Their sincerity is impressive--that is, they sincerely want to save their behinds by making a show of non-wokeness. Sorry, Bud, it's way too late for that.

The poor Ms. Heinerscheid is the scapegoat for the upper level executives who most certainly signed off on this marketing debacle.

Good luck with that. Business 101: It is far easier to keep a customer than to get one to return. The response has been too lackluster to convince anyone that their regret goes beyond their profit. They don't regret insulting their base, they don't regret the inherent misogyny of the ad, they don't regret the wokeness behind the ad ...

Battles are fought not where one might prefer but rather on the field of opportunity. Liberals and woke idiots have finally and disastrously over-reached. All the ESG moneyed players like Blackrock have foisted this perversity upon us but at the end of the day money still matters and the market-place still has a voice - OUR voice. We must hold our ground and not let Anheuser Busch back up. Mere apologies will never be enough.

I've been known to order a Bud when I don't have the patience to go through the list of other beers on the menu. No more, on principle. Ever.

Anheuser-Busch is a corporation owned by a multi-national conglomerate based in Europe. Europeans aren’t Americans and don’t understand the subtleties of American society. Being Europeans, they see Americans through the prism of distinct social classes and are attracted to what they consider the American upper class. The problem is that Americans don’t see Harvard or Yale or Stanford or Wharton grads as our superiors any more than we see those working as executives for Fortune 500 companies as our superiors. However, we are sensitive to and resent being patronized and belittled by those soliciting our business and we especially have a visceral dislike of those who do so using sexual deviants who prey on the young. To use an old Viet Nam expression, AB scr*wed the pooch.

I wish I drank Bud Light so I couldn't any more. In any case, I hope this blows up in their collective face like an old exploding cigar.

When your answer to business screw-ups is to hire consultants from the DC swamp you need new management.

Very interesting and informative analysis, #6. Americans are proudly NOT Europeans in thought and value systems, and that was perfectly explained. Superb!

Tough feces.I used to buy some for one of my sons who liked it. Never again and that includes any AB brand. This woke twit managed to destroy an iconic brand with one move. These mass produced watery beers have been losing market share for years for the simple fact that they are not very good and good craft beers are replacing them with beer drinkers. It’s about time, Bud Light is crap beer but running off your base customers is about the dumbest thing since “New Coke” made its ignominious debut.

Bud Light got heinerscheided. Yep Anheiseur-Busch's darling marketing VP used a trans-clown as their brand image for Bud Light. She/he was not a Great American Hero, nope, just a man dressed up as a skinny girl acting like a teenager. What on earth was A-B thinking? Did Alissa act alone? Are you kidding? This is New Coke on steroids. It's not marketing 101. What did Alissa learn at Wharton? How to f*() up a company in a jiffy?

Re the photo of her team. Easy, Nick - few minorities (and no blacks) but you don't know that there isn't a trans or two among them.

Only when AB apologizes for being woke and they fire the ceo and marketing cap will I consider drinking ab brands. If they bring the vp of marketing back that will be the end of AB in America!

PAID vacations/leave of absences are no big deal. The lady who got the company into this mess is still on the payroll so they evidently are NOT serious about the extreme damage all this has done.
Guess Anheuser-Busch has not suffered enough!

LOL! Too little, too late.
Smith & Wesson's British owners had to sell the company at a huge loss to patriotic Americans before the huge sales drop leveled off after the idiot Brits worked with BillyJeff for "sensible gun control laws".
Belgians may have to sell the company while there is still something to sell.
Grin.

AB needs to put a picture of Matt Walsh on the can. Not only will the go from worst to first, they will sell more product than any vendor in the history if the Free Market.
Look for Mulvaney to start endorsing shock absorbers.

Support your local micro-brewery. They turn out a better product than AB will ever think of, plus there's no agenda other than a good beer.

The female ad exec looked down upon Bud Light's customers and wanted to cater to different customers. She completely ignored the fact that her type of customer drink lattes and chardonnay. A dumb move that ranks right up their with new Coke.

Most mistakes can be forgiven at a certain point but others are lifetime curses. Ask former Prince Harry, ask former president Bill Clinton, ask former presidential candidate Howard Dean, ask former actor Will Smith.
To reference an old ad campaign that has become a new joke, when the Anheiser-Busch depiction of the Dylan Mulvaney twit torched their sales performance, customers quickly responded, "No, I said a Bud Light!"

Looks to me like a bunch of out-of-touch elitist bureaucrats let a leftist elitist skank torpedo their brand, and being bureaucrats, having no idea what to do, they have hired 'consultants' who are as clueless as they are.
It they fire the skank and apologize to their customers, they'll get torched by the leftist pervert activist crowd which includes most of the Lamestream media. If they don't fire the skank and apologize, they lose their American customer base.
Yep, they Stepped In It!
