I do not want you to do what you might think I am telling you to do. I do not want you to support or oppose any candidate because you think I support or oppose him/her/xir. For too long, too many pundits have thought it was their place to tell you what to think and what to do, and you are as sick of it as I am. So, you can agree with me, partially agree with me, or totally disagree with me when I tell you what I think. But you need to make up your own mind about who to support in 2024.

It’s like war rules: fight the enemy but don’t destroy civilization/the party.

I don't know any Trump supporters who say they'll not vote for the eventual nominee, but I know many nominal Republicans who say they'll never vote for Trump. Tell it to the Never-Trumpers - the McCain family, the Bush family, Paul Ryan, Mitch McConnell, the Lincoln Project, Peggy Noonan, Jonah Goldberg, Mitt Romney, the GOPe, and the rest. They conveniently lost sight of the goal in their dislike of "mean tweets" and "being unpresidential." How presidential is Diapers these days? What about his nasty speeches about Republicans?

This is the best thing Schlichter has penned this year. It’s the “must read” of the day.

Trump will always be anti establishment. GOP and DEM.
DeSantis will always be GOP to the core.

Work together? Why? With the traitorous Uni-Party Rona Romney McDaniel in charge of the republican party and with all of the republican bend over surrender monkeys who inhabit congress betraying us, the communist death democrats already have the election stolen. Even sharp guys like Kurt Schlichter have got to stop thinking we still have free and fair elections in this country and start living in the real world and plan and act accordingly. We aren't going to vote our way out of this communist totalitarian dictatorship that is brutally oppressing and destroying us. Not going to happen.
Hope for the best and prepare for the worst.

Remember there are only 'never Trump' factions. The rest of us will oppose the communist Democrats no matter who the nominee. If we lose the Republic, we will know the names of those who facilitated it. Add to those named earlier: Karl Rove.

No. No promises. If the GOPe once again sabotages the conservative candidates and pushes through another Bush, McCain or Romney one world government hack, I will not support them. I will not commit to voting for them. They've been pulling this little game for as long as I can remember, and I'm tired of it. Their uniparty pick is rarely any better than the democrat and always ends up costing me.
Look what they did when Trump ran. I didnt see any of the elites supporting him. I just saw them trying to destroy him. But now I'm supposed to forgive and forget when they do it again? No.

While I agree that I will vote for the primary winner, that doesn't mean the winner can be a moron and advocate things that are an an anathema to Conservatives. For example, there is NO accommodation with the "climate change" nuts and a Republican candidate that leans "Green" is NOT going to get my enthusiastic support.
I do like DeSantis. He is a smart fighter. However, he has the Florida legislature aligned with his actions. The concern I have is, is DeSantis a brawler? In the cesspool that Washington has become, can he fight the kind of fights that a Republican WILL face? People think that it's just winning the Presidency and Congress that you need to accomplish to get things done. We clearly saw during Trump's presidency that the bureaucratic state is a liberal force unto itself. It is solidly established and NOT subject to elections. Nor are the leaders of groups, like the FBI, subject to change at a president's desire. For each such person to be replaced, it will be an ugly battle. If it is not done it will be hard to accomplish things. Further, legislation needs to be created to remove the power that so much of the bureaucracy enjoys. Bureaucratic fiat should be EXTREMELY limited. Anything that has significant financial or policy impact should REQUIRE a bill to be passed in Congress and signed by the President.
I demand that the Republican candidate understand all this and be willing to pursue it. It's cleaning out the Aegean stables and it will require getting dirty.

You’re preaching to the choir, Kurt. This message is for all the RINOs and GOPe that stabbed Trump in the back for years, and then turned a blind eye to, or directly enabled, the vote fraud.

Even if it's one corrupt swamp creature vs. another corrupt swamp creature?
We all know by now Washington is the source of most our problems, and that includes Democrats and Republicans.
Not even sure what Washington does should be considered governing.
To make matters worse, nobody seems to have any solutions.
I'll vote, but part of me asks 'What's the point?'.

I will happily vote for any real conservative candidate.
I will absolutely not vote for a GOPe pet RINO.
The party is of no interest to me whatsoever. Republicans mean -nothing- to me. I want conservatives in office, no matter what party.
