The Whole Foods Market in Downtown San Francisco will be closing down. The decision comes just over a year after the store first opened. San Francisco, one of if not the most liberal city in the country, has been plagued by rampant crime and homelessness in the streets. A Whole Foods spokesperson said, “We are closing our Trinity location only for the time being. If we feel we can ensure the safety of our team members in the store, we will evaluate a reopening of our Trinity location.”One of the managers of the troubled grocery store located on Market Street stated that

Seriously, one way for the store to operate would be to go to a system where the customers order ahead and pre-pay using their 'phones, then pick up their orders at a service window, service counter, or curbside. Perhaps the newfangled 'drone delivery' system that I keep hearing about may be suitable for lighter-weight orders.

I live just outside of SF. City policy is not to prosecute theft if it is less than $1000, and as the local saying goes, the city gets crime tourism. Thieves come from surrounding areas to steal because there are no consequences. Crime tourists who like organic can go to Whole Foods.

Cheer up, SF residents. I am sure there is a convenience store where you can buy your food in the area. May be a bit pricey though. Ignore the relative with a shotgun guarding the place.

When neither the city nor most of its residents have any honor, this sort of thing is bound to happen. I have a nice bicycle on my porch. Its been there for two weeks, waiting for me to clean it up, grease the bearings, adjust the brakes and get it ready for my granddaughter. Nobody has bothered it, or even noticed it as far as I can tell. We have dirt poor people in our neighborhood as well as wealthy ones, and nobody here steals each others stuff. I have to wonder how many minutes that bike would be on the porch in a democrat city.

We thought that woman who is running Anheuser-Busch into the ground was stupid. The genius who built a Whole Foods in San Francisco after the city had practically turned into Caracas should not only be fired but given a brain transplant from a Chimpanzee to bring the IQ up a little.

It took Whole Foods 19 years of jumping thru regulatory hoops to open that store, but, after only 1 year they closed it. Tells you everything about CA. and SF.

Far-right Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene on Thursday defended 21-year-old Air National Guardsman Jack Teixeira, the accused leaker of highly sensitive Pentagon intelligence documents, and said he’s being treated by the Biden administration “like a traitor and criminal.” “Jake Teixeira is white, male, Christian, and antiwar. That makes him an enemy to the Biden regime,” Greene (R-Ga.) wrote in a tweet. Greene, who is staunchly against the US providing military aid to Ukraine as it attempts to fend off a Russian invasion, has called the Biden administration’s role in the conflict in the former Soviet state “a proxy war with Russia.”

NEW YORK— Former President Donald Trump answered questions for nearly seven hours Thursday during his second deposition in a legal battle with New York’s attorney general over his company’s business practices, reversing an earlier decision to invoke his Fifth Amendment protection against self-incrimination and remain silent. The Republican met all day with lawyers for Attorney General Letitia James, who sued Trump last year. Her lawsuit claims Trump and his family misled banks and business associates by giving them false information about his net worth and the value of assets such as hotels and golf courses.

According to NBC News, team members for Ron DeSantis have reached out to six different Florida Republicans in an attempt to prevent them from endorsing President Trump in the GOP primary. This comes after a flurry of prominent Florida congress members have thrown their support behind the former President. In the past 6 weeks, Trump has scored endorsements from Matt Gaetz, Anna Paulina Luna, Cory Mills and Byron Donalds. However, insiders have said that the Donalds endorsement specifically was the straw that broke the camels back, and now it appears that DeSantis staffers are trying to prevent a domino effect.
