Phil Washington, Joe Biden’s embattled nominee to head the Federal Administration Aviation, has withdrawn his nomination, sources told Reuters Saturday evening. One of the sources, a White House official, told Reuters that “an onslaught of unfounded Republican attacks on Mr Washington’s service and experience irresponsibly delayed this process, threatened unnecessary procedural hurdles on the Senate floor, and ultimately have led him to withdraw his nomination today.” Reuters’ piece went on to describe issues with Washington, a veteran, not having a waiver “from rules requiring civilian leadership to head the FAA” and questions about Washington’s competency and experience as obstacles,

In the Biden Administration competence or lack of criminality do not matter when choosing a nominee. All that matters is do they fulfill a diversity quota.

The unqualified, incompetent, corrupt nominee withdrew in a weekend news dump. And, of course, team Biden blamed Republicans and the withdrawal was announced by Reuters, who predictably carried water for Biden.

FTA: "“...an onslaught of unfounded Republican attacks on Mr Washington’s service..." The democrats should surely know all about this process. They used it every time a Republican was nominated to fill a position and especially the ones for the Supreme Court. I'm glad to see the pubbies asking the right questions on these new hires. Karma???

I know, Biden should nominate Sam Brinton, the non-binary and thankfully former Nuclear Regulatory (NRC) executive to replace this corrupt incompetent. At least Sam knows all about airport luggage carousels and the lack of airport security. Plus, he’s out of work as he awaits criminal trials in Minneapolis, Las Vegas and possibly DC for removing women’s luggage from carousels across the country. Sadly, Biden’s WH team of Susan Rice and Anita Dunn along with Obama’s puppeteer, Valerie Jarrett, have binders full of these unqualified except for race or perverse gender losers who are ready to climb the affirmative action ladder.

Sinema helped ice the nomination. Most other Dems on the committee offered only a pedestrian endorsement. He would have failed getting enough votes in the full Senate.

The Bidet's simply drew a name from the "Wokesters" hat and got this clown. What a total joke he was for a nominee. Bidet should have gotten someone who at least built model airplanes as a kid, that person would have had more "aviation experience" as this guy did.

As RedState reported, dramatic body-cam footage of police confronting and killing the Nashville Christian school shooter emerged on Tuesday. It was a picture of heroism as officers rushed into the school to clear rooms and stop the carnage. Within minutes, they had located the shooter, with one officer taking down the self-identified “transgender man” with a precision that only comes from actual training and the courage to use it. Another officer finished the ordeal after the shooter again tried to go for her gun. The footage is incredible but also somewhat graphic so discretion is advised. Following a radically successful trial on cancer patients, a new blood test that promises to predict tumors more than a year before they begin to form is now being applied in hospitals across the United Kingdom. “This is the first pan-cancer blood test,” said Ashish Tripathi, founder and CEO of Tzar Labs as well as chairman of Epigeneres Biotech, the Indian firm where the test was first developed in 2021. An updated report on their findings was published this month in the journal Stem Cells.
