At first, I thought this story was fake. Then I thought it was likely just a misinterpretation of events. However, I was curious enough to just go look for myself, because there are quite a few people noticing it now. Indeed, the initial reports were not wrong. The background story of how Senator John Fetterman’s wife reacted to the news of her husband’s hospitalization for clinical depression is just weird. Apparently, Pennsylvania Senator John Fetterman’s family did not go to Washington DC with him.

The personal consumption expenditures price index excluding food and energy increased 0.6% for the month, and was up 4.7% from a year ago, the Commerce Department reported Friday. Wall Street had been expecting respective readings of 0.5% and 4.4%. The core PCE gains were 0.4% and 4.6% in December. Including the volatile food and energy components, headline inflation increased 0.6% and 5.4% respectively, compared to 0.2% and 5.3% in December.

He’s already deteriorated so much — and by the time he has to campaign in 2024, he’ll be in even worse shape. But unfortunately for the Democrats, their alternatives are not great. Among those alternatives is Biden’s “second” — Kamala Harris, known for her word salads and her cackles, but not much else. Sometimes, I listen to Joe Biden–and all I can think is: he is one weird dude. He was asked on Friday if he would be visiting the site of the train derailment in East Palestine, Ohio, and his response was bizarre. He said he did a “whole video,” and he couldn’t remember that it was a “Zoom” video. “Zoom. All I can hear every time I think of Zoom is that song of my generation, ‘Who’s Zoomin’ Who?'” Biden babbled. Yikes. At this point, he’s just not a serious person; he seems completely out of it. You have a disaster in East Palestine, and that’s how he’s responding?

Billionaire Jeff Bezos has reportedly hired an investment firm to examine the potential purchase of the Washington Commanders. Two sources close to the situation told the Washington Post that Bezos has been working with “Allen & Company, a New York-based firm that is prominent in transactions involving professional sports franchises.” As Breitbart News reported in November of last year, the Amazon founder, worth an estimated $155 billion, was reportedly eyeing to purchase the football team in the wake of current owners Dan and Tanya Snyder announcing their intention to potentially sell it.
