Attorney Andrew McCarthy said Emily Kohrs, the forewoman of a special grand jury as part of the Georgia criminal probe into former President Trump, may have dealt "a terrible blow" to prosecutors with her unusual media tour this week. In a pair of appearances on CNN and NBC News, Kohrs appeared to strongly hint that Trump was among those recommended for criminal charges while laughing, joking and making animated facial expressions that seemed to provide answers she knew she shouldn't be offering. McCarthy, a senior fellow at the National Review Institute, believes any "fair-mind lawyer" would object to her behavior. "This is a terrible thing. She basically

This incident does not say much for the panelists sitting on a grand jury. I had the impression that a grand jury was a pretty serious proceeding.

she is an actual Witch, a wiccan, wearing someone else's grandmothers salvation army clothes....she went to college to become a court transcriptionist, but apparently was so bad at it her job was simply scheduling other transcriptionists. On her Instagram "follows" page she lists two...some African LBGT author/speaker/activist...and Arriana Huffington. Most of her earlier photos she is fairly heavy set, and blonde...she is now about half the size she was, malnourished, and dyed darker hair. She is a Harry Potter/Hogwarts wizarding fan, something fairly common for people her age,...uncommon is that she wears all Slytherin Gear. The "Dark Arts" Villains in the stories.

Did I detect a suppressed disappointment in Andrew McCarthy's comments on the antics of the foreman in this latest Get Trump effort? McCarthy, a writer for the anti-Trump National Review, during the Russia Hoax debacle consistently defended Muller and his henchmen in their attempt to bring Trump down. After Trump's 2020 "defeat" his dislike of Trump has been ever more obvious. I suspect his irritation with the crazy foreman is much like the dismay of the other RINOs who once again see the Roadrunner dodging the Acme anvil dropped by Wiley Coyote.

The treatment of our beloved President Trump for the last seven years has been abhorrent. Yet, for some reason this ditzy broad's performance on TV sickened me greatly. That a loathesome dingbat like this creature can get even within 100 feet of a very serious, serious court proceeding, regarding a President of the United States, let alone become the jury foreman, is staggering. This embarrassing episode is yet another body blow to our once great republic illustrating just how low our country has sunk in the hands of democrats and rhinos.

I have heard commentators opine that we cannot expect quality jurors when they know that they will be serving about 18 months. I served on a Federal Grand Jury for 22 months 9IT HAD BEEN EXTENDED) even though I worked full time. The truth is that over that 1 to 2 years, a juror may only be required to serve about 2 times a month, occasionally 3 days in a month, and some months not at all. This was over 25 years ago, and unless things have changed, it was very very hard to be dismissed from Grand Jury service.

Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot, a Democrat, lost her re-election bid Monday night, and critics are celebrating the end of her term. Under Lightfoot, Chicago has seen soaring crime rates, which became a theme of her opponents' criticism. In 2021, homicides in Chicago rose to their highest numbers in 25 years, outpacing other crime-ridden cities like New York City and Los Angeles. Throughout her tenure, the mayor has been blasted for her poor relationship with law enforcement, as the city's police department lost a significant number of officers in recent years amid the rise in crime.

For years, Democrats have spread the message that America is irredeemable, that our original sin defines our present and the future is dependent on our faith in government — not in each other. I was born in 1965, two years after Dr. King said, “I Have a Dream,” and I am living proof that American dreams do come true. My mom spent her teenage years surrounded by segregation. My granddaddy, her father, had to step off the sidewalk to let white folks pass. He had to drop out of school in the third grade to pick cotton. When I was a kid, I remember granddaddy would

When it was time for Sam Beyda, then a freshman at Columbia University, to take his Calculus I midterm, the professor told students they had 90 minutes. But the exam would be administered online. And even though every student was expected to take it alone, in their dorms or apartments or at the library, it wouldn’t be proctored. And they had 24 hours to turn it in. “Anyone who hears that knows it’s a free-for-all,” Beyda told me. Beyda, an economics major, said students texted each other answers; looked up solutions on Chegg, a crowdsourced website with answers to exam questions; and used calculators, which were technically verboten.

A couple of recent articles in The New York Times show just how annoyed the national media is getting at so far being unable to find something wrong with Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis. Why hasn’t he called Donald Trump a fathead on Twitter yet?! Where are all the women who want to accuse him of being a rapist?! Why won’t he back down from positions that are popular with voters?! Admittedly, it’s never too late for any one of those scenarios to become a reality, and Republicans rarely justify high hopes. But for now, the Times has had to settle on attacking DeSantis for not being more readily attackable.

A campaign to have rural eastern Oregon effectively secede from the blue state and join more conservative Idaho is gaining steam as leaders from both states express support for relocating the border between them. Former Oregon House Speaker Mark Simmons penned an op-ed in the Idaho Statesman, a daily newspaper, over the weekend to explain why he supports the so-called Greater Idaho movement, which seeks to incorporate about 13 Oregon counties, or 63% of the state's landmass and 9% of its population, within Idaho's borders. "Idaho would have the satisfaction of freeing rural, conservative communities from progressive blue-state law," wrote Simmons.

When schools, stadiums, and churches were locked and empty, hundreds of thousands of Americans poured into the streets to protest the police killing of George Floyd in the summer of 2020, setting up an uncomfortable conflict between public health and social justice during the early days of the pandemic in America. More than a thousand experts and activists, including many from academia, weighed in. Yes, they wrote in an open letter that quickly went viral, social distancing remained an “effective” method to slow the spread, but “white supremacy is a lethal public health issue that predates and contributes to COVID-19.”

Brer Rabbit comes by and gets increasingly offended when the Tar Baby fails to acknowledge him. Brer Rabbit gets so incensed he decides to “bus’ you wide open,” only to get stuck, head, arms, legs, and all, in the tar. Oddly, Uncle Remus never tells us how (or whether) Brer Rabbit ended up as Brer Fox’s dinner. While DeSantis has not yet declared that he’s running for president, he certainly sounded like a man who’s making the case for his candidacy.
