California Democratic Senator Dianne Feinstein announced Tuesday that she will retire at the end of her term. “I am announcing today I will not run for reelection in 2024, but intend to accomplish as much for California as I can through the end of next year when my term ends,” Feinstein said in her announcement. At 89, Feinstein is the oldest senator who has held a seat representing California since 1992. A hazardous chemical leak from a rollover crash involving a commercial tanker truck closed Interstate 10 in both directions in Tucson.
The crash happened at around 2:43 p.m. on I-10 near Kolb and Rita Roads on Tuesday. The freeway was closed as crews worked to mitigate the situation, according to the Arizona Department of Public Safety. University of Arizona police later tweeted that anyone within a one mile of the crash should shelter in place and turn off any air-conditioning units that bring in outside air.

There were two things that I missed during Sunday’s Super Bowl LVII in Glendale, Arizona, between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles.
