The House Republican Steering Committee on Tuesday selected several conservative firebrands to serve on the Oversight Committee during the 118th Congress, including multiple members who previously had their committee assignments stripped by House Democrats during the previous Congress.

Microsoft is preparing to announce job cuts tomorrow. Sky News reports that thousands of roles will be cut, with the software giant said to be looking at cutting around 5 percent of its workforce. With more than 220,000 employees at Microsoft, that could mean more than 10,000 layoffs.
While Sky News doesn’t name an exact date for the expected cuts, a source familiar with Microsoft’s plans tells The Verge that the company will likely announce layoffs on Wednesday, ahead of its quarterly earnings next week.

Three batches of classified documents were found on Biden's property in recent months: one at the Penn Biden Center in Washington, D.C., and two at his Wilmington, Delaware, property. But the FBI was not present as documents were recovered, and no raids have been conducted, which sources familiar with the matter told the Journal was because Biden's lawyers turned over the documents quickly and continued to cooperate with the Justice Department in the investigation.

A pro-LGBT organization in Oregon will provide gift cards to 8th through 12th grade students who attend an LGBT advocacy training workshop.
Southern Oregon Coast Pride advertised their upcoming Curry County Youth Leadership and Advocacy Workshop in a Facebook post. “The workshop is open to all youth in Curry County who are in 8th-12th grade,” the post explained.
The training, which is set to take place at a public library later this month, will feature “conversations about what leadership and advocacy mean” as well as “what cultural humility is” before then discussing bullying.
