Greetings such as “aloha” and “shalom” are “culturally sensitive” and their use could “come off as mockery,” according to a recent USA Today piece demanding people “consider the cultural implications” before using such terms.
In an essay published in USA Today on Friday, titled “Is it time to stop saying ‘aloha’ and other culturally sensitive words out of context?” reporter David Oliver argues, “just because you can say something doesn’t mean it’s always appropriate.”
Claiming that “aloha” has a “deeper meaning” than just hello or goodbye, the author states, “If you’re not Hawaiian and you say it, it could come off as mockery.”

In this episode of The Existential Threat to Mankind…
Every time I run across a story about climate alarmist bilge from John Kerry, the first “United States special presidential envoy for climate,” I think back to Al “Polar Ice” Gore and how loony we thought he was. Listen, John Kerry makes Al Gore look like a piker without breaking a global-warming-induced sweat.
Welp, I’m happy to report that this is the most ridiculous take I’ve yet seen from Kerry, and I’ve seen a lot.
As Fox News reported, the U.S. “climate envoy” turned heads with an out-of-this-world [sarc] speech at the annual World Economic Forum meeting in Davos —

Attorney General Merrick Garland is feeling the heat over the obvious double standard between the Mar-a-Lago FBI raid on Donald Trump’s home to retrieve classified documents and Joe Biden’s Car-a-Lago scandal. As a result, Biden’s hit man, who “can’t comment on an ongoing investigation,” has clearly green-lighted his patented leaks to friendly media to make excuses for his duplicity. If this weren’t such a tell for how corrupt the Justice Department is, the excuses would be funny. But since America’s system of jurisprudence in the DOJ and the FBI is clearly so irretrievably fallen, and could take civil society sliding down the hill with it,

Greg Burton, a seasoned reporter from out west, wrote a revealing account of a skirmish he and a photographer got into with the White House Secret Service, all because then-Vice President Joe Biden had left classified documents lying about the West Wing.
Writing in the Arizona Republic on Sunday, Burton described a visit to the VP’s White House office to interview Biden about the recent financial crisis. Early in the visit, the journalist noticed a top secret document just low-key vibing on a table.
“The red warning on the cover caught my attention but my eyes drifted to the then-vice president’s keepsakes, a leather binder

Konstantin Kisin is a satirist, podcaster, author and political commentator and on his “Triggernometry” podcast, he and his co-host Francis Foster focus on these subjects, as well as the WOKE culture that has overtaken the Western world.
At 40, Kisin is an early Millennial (or Xennial, as they are now being categorized). So, he has lived some life, had a taste of career success, and has a family. Some of the things that indicate that your views on how life and the economy works is not merely theoretical. Kisin also was born in Russia and emigrated to Europe, domiciling in Great Britain.

One thing that’s rare to see in Hollywood is honesty.
When we see it, it tends to touch us. We saw that in the acceptance speech of Ke Huy Quan when he won Best Supporting Actor in a Musical or Comedy at the Golden Globes. We saw it from Brendan Fraser at the Critics Choice Awards. They were both so grateful and happy that after a long time “in the wilderness,” they were given a chance to act again and prove themselves in the roles in which they shined.
But Richard Dreyfuss is showing us something else again with his quest. Maybe that’s because even though he worked in Hollywood,

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle 'were not welcome' and were 'snubbed' by the Bafta Tea Party in LA after London executives decided it would a PR disaster, sources have claimed.
The pair did not make the guestlist for the British showbiz night in Hollywood on Saturday following the fallout from Harry's tell-all memoir Spare, according to the Sun.

He’s not moving on up to a deluxe office on the East Side — or anywhere else.
Rep. Jerry Nadler has not yet opened an office in his newly redrawn 12th Congressional district — more than four months after besting rival Rep. Carolyn Maloney in a bruising August primary.
The only publicly listed office in the Big Apple on Nadler’s campaign website is 201 Varick St. in Greenwich Village. The grand Art Deco building, a landmark, was once Nadler territory when he represented the 10th district, but is now represented by his colleague Rep. Dan Goldman.

A 23-year-old Florida man previously charged with possession of child porn now faces more than 1,000 additional charges.
Last month, officials arrested Johnathan Jhovanni Hernandez, accused of two counts of possession of child pornography, two counts of transmitting child pornography, and a single count of using a two-way communication device to facilitate a felony, Fox News reported Saturday.
The arrest took place once authorities got a tip from the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children.
“At that time, we told you the investigation was just getting started and there would likely be more charges. What we should have said was there would likely be A LOT more charges —

One of the unnerving things about Big Left’s initiatives is that they always seem to burst forth fully formed when they inflict themselves on an unsuspecting public. All the normal Americans are somehow left out of the entire decision-making process, from conception through funding and development; it’s not just that we don’t have a say, but we’re not even made aware that the initiative is in the works until it is visited upon us in its final form.
For example, by the time we learned that the climate lords at WEF think should eat bugs, there was already a growing cricket farm infrastructure in place,

Earlier this week, all 210 Democrats in the House of Representatives voted to allow babies to die of indifference and neglect in the moments after their birth. The unanimous voice of Hakeem Jeffries' Democrat caucus was that mothers and doctors should not be obliged to provide medical attention to an "survivor" after a so-called "botched abortion".
A "botched abortion."
Think about that term for a moment. What happens when you "botch" an abortion? What is the result of a "botched abortion"? What happens when an abortion goes "wrong"?
A baby is born. A baby is born, alive.
A "botched abortion" is also known as "child birth".

It’s encouraging to see that Buffalo Bill’s safety Damar Hamlin is on the road to recovery. One wonders if he will be cleared to resume his career. And if so, one can imagine in a lightsome way a scenario in which he intercepts a pass and rambles for a touchdown while opposing players dive out of the way, desperate to avoid tackling or even touching him. Seriously, though, one wishes only the best for him as he contemplates his future.
His collapse on the field was the most significant and harrowing event of the current NFL season, eclipsing every partisan concern
Comments:
The video of his entire speech is included. I highly recommend watching it in its entirety.
