Is MSNBC panicked about Biden documents scandal?

I have a secret to share: I think both the Trump and Biden classified document scandals are big fat nothingburgers. It’s not that I don’t think classified documents are important, or that they shouldn’t be protected, or anything like that. If anybody outside the elite of the elite did what these guys did they would be toast. But at this level? Does anybody think that a former VP or President isn’t a walking classified document already? These guys write their own rules, for good or ill. If either of them wanted to blow the whistle on anything nobody could stop them. Hillary Clinton did much worse

The harm has already been done. Impeachment would legitimize the prosecution and inevitable conviction of President Trump. Keep in office, hanging from a gibbet as a subject of ridicule, and make the dems own him.

The archive people are supposed to KNOW where every doc is. THEY are the ones to blame for docs that are found at Trumps and at biden's. They should all be fired. Their job is to KNOW where every doc is. And what abt Hillary's e-mails? If these docs are so important why do they let them leave the WH at ALL? Truth is they wanted to GET Trump. They never before CARED abt this until the dems wanted Trump. DEM FAIL. EVERY pres has taken classified docs. Obama supposedly took 30,000 docs to "digitize" them for his library. Last I heard he had not yet digitized 1. Hillary took 33,000 and the archive people never went apoplectic. See it was never important and now it has come back to bite the dems in the butt. The ARCHIVE people are at fault. It is their JOB to know where all these papers are. If they let obamer and hillary go they better just let biden and Trump go too.

A government document with "Classification stamps" all over at even at the highest levels on its own is insufficient to pin wring doing on its holder. It also depends upon whether it has been formally declassified or not. History books are FULL of pictures of document carrying such marking. There are also many such documents in public circulation whose classification has become irrelevant (the vast bulk of the Invasion of Europe documents) since those markings were place on them, or their period of classification or quarantine has run out under the Archives Act.

I agree with the article. BFD. Like the commercial, if you took a hard look at the documents you'd say, "expired, expired, expired!" As for the Lucianne responses. What's a gibbet?

Number eight--a gibbet is the means and the show of a public execution. Sometimes, people were left hanging as a warning to others. Or their heads were left on pikes as a warning. Or they were locked in cages and left to die. Gruesome stuff.

#8, those documents may be “expired” now but they certainly weren’t when Joe stole them 6 years ago.

To say that things are going badly at the network that created cable news is more than an understatement. It is approaching the point where hyperbole about how poorly CNN has been doing might be insufficient. Under the new ownership after the Warners-Discover merger, things have become dire. Many personalities have been dispatched (pour out some mango White Claw for Brian Stelter and Chris Cillizza…okay, pour it all out), shows and talent have been shuffled around, and they rapidly pulled the plug on the expensive debacle that was CNN+. As a sign of the tumult, it was announced last week that the network staff remaining in the CNN Center

A Georgia State Patrol trooper was shot today as police moved in to an area where protesters previously identified as domestic terrorists have been camping to prevent the construction of a new police training center. The individual who initiated the attack was shot and killed by police. (The image above is from a recent profile of this group but the identity of the shooter is still unknown). Law enforcement officers helping conduct a “clearing operation” at the site of Atlanta’s planned public safety training center exchanged gunfire with a protester Wednesday morning, leaving the protester dead and a state trooper wounded, according to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation.

Gov. Ron DeSantis says he's seeking to protect Florida from the "biomedical security state," by permanently banning COVID-19 vaccines and masks. "It required us over the past few years to stand against major institutions in our society: The bureaucracy, the medical establishment, legacy media and even the President of the United States who, together, were working to impose a biomedical security state on society." DeSantis said while speaking at the Todd Herendeen Theater in Panama City Beach. If approved by lawmakers, DeSantis' efforts will permanently restrict the COVID-19 vaccine mandates and mask rules in schools and prevents public and private employers from hiring and firing

Is there a Democrat civil war brewing over the presidency? One is tempted to think so, given how many damaging stories are suddenly showing up in the news just after it dropped that Joe Biden was preparing to announce his reelection bid. While the classified documents story is still heating up, CNN suddenly discovered that the Biden family is filled with corrupt influence peddlers. Who knew? There were no indications. Not a hint of anything like that. Joe gave us his “word as a Biden” that everything was on the up and up, and the media up until now scoffed at the idea that anything could be wrong. The Justice Department on Tuesday asked an appeals court to reverse an April 2022 ruling that overturned the CDC’s public transportation mask mandate. Appearing before a three-judge panel of the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals, Justice Department lawyer Brian Springer argued that the CDC should have the authority to declare universal mask requirements during a public-health crisis, such as the COVID pandemic. It is necessary “to prevent the possible infections and deaths that could result if people didn’t do the simple thing of just putting on a mask while they were traveling,” Springer argued, according to Reuters.

Roy had Walt’s face and his “Save Disney” movement brought emotional Disney-loving individual shareholders of all ages to chilly Philadelphia, some leaning on canes and others with babies in strollers. In an essay published in USA Today on Friday, titled “Is it time to stop saying ‘aloha’ and other culturally sensitive words out of context?” reporter David Oliver argues, “just because you can say something doesn’t mean it’s always appropriate.” Claiming that “aloha” has a “deeper meaning” than just hello or goodbye, the author states, “If you’re not Hawaiian and you say it, it could come off as mockery.”

With each gallon of gas pumped in the United States since 1932, drivers have been paying taxes. The revenue is used for road repairs and public transportation such as train and bus systems. Currently, the Fed takes 18.4 cents per gallon for gas or 24.4 cents per gallon for diesel. State gas taxes range from a national high of 61 cents for gas in Pennsylvania, to a low of 8.95 cents in Alaska. But environmentally motivated improvements in fuel efficiency and the move to electric vehicles (EVs) translate to less gas sold, resulting less tax revenue collected. State and federal governments are looking for a new way to fund transportation.

Fox News host Greg Gutfeld pushed back on Rivera's opinion, however, and asked the former correspondent, "What does 'AR' stand for?" "It is an automatic rifle," Rivera answered, to which Gutfeld said, "That's not what it is."

One thing that’s rare to see in Hollywood is honesty. When we see it, it tends to touch us. We saw that in the acceptance speech of Ke Huy Quan when he won Best Supporting Actor in a Musical or Comedy at the Golden Globes. We saw it from Brendan Fraser at the Critics Choice Awards. They were both so grateful and happy that after a long time “in the wilderness,” they were given a chance to act again and prove themselves in the roles in which they shined. But Richard Dreyfuss is showing us something else again with his quest. Maybe that’s because even though he worked in Hollywood,
