Washington - A former top intelligence official who signed on to a letter attacking The Post’s bombshell 2020 reporting on Hunter Biden’s laptop as Russian disinformation has now admitted he knew a “significant portion” of the recovered files “had to be real” – but doesn’t regret dismissing the exposé. Douglas Wise, a former Defense Intelligence Agency deputy director, was one of 51 erstwhile intelligence brass who issued the public letter on Oct. 19, 2020 — five days after The Post began a series of reports on the now-first son’s shady overseas business dealings. (Snip) “I don’t regret signing it because the context is important,” he added.

Comments:

He doesn't regret signing it because the letter accomplished their goal, put Biden in office.

You can't lie to the FBI or CIA but they sure can lie to you. As long as they " put it in context". These people are a disgusting lot of criminals who are preying not on our enemies but us. Snowden is exiled to Moscow and he is the only person who has told us the truth about this deep and abiding corruption in our ranks. How we clean it up is a very difficult question to answer since the corruption goes from the very top to the very bottom of the Justice dept which we can no longer trust to do the right thing. How do we clean up a government which is steeped in this slime?

The creepy letter didn't say the laptop WAS disinformation, just that it had all the earmarks of disinformation. So, these 51 jerks helped steal an election for Deep State. And now they are ready to throw their prop-president under the bus so time to rehabilitate their reputations. Too late, guys.

It had all the earmarks of Russian disinformation: A Russian operative: impersonating the drugged up son of a former Vice President. Pretending to leave a computer filled with perfectly scripted personal data about the son and many many other people at a repair shop. Pretending to forget to pick it up. Getting someone pretending to be the son’s lawyer to ask for it back. Somehow getting the shop owner to take it public (maybe he’s a sleeper cell awakened for the purpose). This is a very common Russian technic? To paraphrase Larry Fein, “that’s how they always do it.”

With each gallon of gas pumped in the United States since 1932, drivers have been paying taxes. The revenue is used for road repairs and public transportation such as train and bus systems. Currently, the Fed takes 18.4 cents per gallon for gas or 24.4 cents per gallon for diesel. State gas taxes range from a national high of 61 cents for gas in Pennsylvania, to a low of 8.95 cents in Alaska. But environmentally motivated improvements in fuel efficiency and the move to electric vehicles (EVs) translate to less gas sold, resulting less tax revenue collected. State and federal governments are looking for a new way to fund transportation.
