Trevor Bickford appeared to be a typical, all-American teenager before he allegedly became a radicalized Muslim and slashed two cops with a machete in Times Square.
The alleged Islamic extremist, 19, once made the school honor roll, won awards for his artwork and was a member of the championship football team in his hometown of Wells, Maine.
But after his father died of a drug overdose in 2018, it's believed Bickford's life descended into turmoil.
By the time Bickford made his way to New York City on Amtrak alone for the alleged attacks this weekend, the teen was already reportedly on the FBI's radar.

Why is it every wacko out there is on the FBI's radar and still gets away with this stuff??? Oh, they are too busy trying to get Trump to worry about anyone else...I forgot..oh, and where did the kid get 'radicalized'?? In the local mosque? Good reason to shut all of them down...since they won't let us build churches in muzzie countries...

He did not use a machete, what the photo shows is that he used a kukri knife that is famously been used for hundreds of years by Gurkha soldiers. You could not perpetrate a better try at suicide by cop then that guy did in Times Square.

The FBIers had him on their radar, but they were too busy harassing 45 to keep track of him. Where has this happened before? Pulse nightclub shooter in Orlando. Boulder CO shooter. Can I keep on? I can but the point is the FBI's radar seems to be somewhat suspect. What you say Cristie's Wray?

So a young man who lost his father, allegedly via drug overdose, finds solace in the koran, where he discovers that he can legitimately vent all his rage and frustration by simply going jihadi. The koran and various hadiths told him he could obtain eternal bliss by the expedient of killing kufrs, so he tried. This is mainstream islam; he was not "radicalized," a phrase that is always conveniently used to excuse violent islamic behavior. Why is it that nobody seems to have noticed this in the DM article? Perhaps it is due to their rather justifiable fear of becoming a target for some other jihadi assassin, or fear of being accused of "racism," a favorite tactic of mohammedans everywhere. It is a shame he did not choose to become a "radical" Christian and read the Bible, where he would have read Jesus' praise of the peacemakers who shall see God, or perhaps the have taken His advice dispensed in the Sermon on the Mount. But instead, he chose the way of violence and death that is islam yesterday, today and tomorrow. But will we see our SJW's, "influencers" and politicians praising Christianity and condemning islam? Doubtful. Instead, we will continue to be upbraided about the evils of "Christian nationalism."

If he had been an Evangelical or a Catholic praying outside an abortion clinic or belonging to a pro-life group he would have been arrested with a no knock warrant and hauled out of his house at dawn.

#5 - Your's may be the post of the day.
Several observations. First, he appears to come from an intact family. Second, his father was addicted to some drug or drugs. Third, his father is alleged to have died of a drug overdose. Forth, the boy seems to have fallen through the cracks and seeks answers and purpose in the Koran. Fifth, once again, our government and the FBI thugs failed to do their job. Finally, Joe Biden's border policy permits the flow of illicit drugs into our nation with no regard for consequences.
This is one of those rare cases in which I have sympathy for this young man. It seems that no one saw his pain and anger, or they ignored it. Either way, he was a lost soul, and lost souls are bound to find the path they seek to justify their circumstance and existence. I have no doubt that he asked himself "why" millions of times. I pray for his soul, that he finds the Light, and that he can return to us.

If something bad happens to your dad or to you, it does not give you freedom to kill people. There are mentions of such behvior in Scripture.
