Do I need to explain this story in detail? I’m sure you can guess why a bail reform group had to close its operations in California: the people they were setting free decided to continue their life of crime. The last straw was this latest person they had sprung from jail who proceeded to shoot a server eleven times. Shocker—a career criminal, gets his bail posted by these clowns and proceeds to shoot up a restaurant. Now, who couldn’t have seen that coming? The group, The Bail Project, has some solid celebrity support behind it as well, so another added layer for why this operation decided to close

I believe the injured or the families of the injured should be able to be made whole by the people responsible for the criminal... that would of course be those who posted ( took responsibility) the bail.

Criminals good, cops bad. If you have enough money you can live where cops good, criminals bad. These areas are really not about money but rather simple common sense.

Leftists think that they are so much more intelligent and educated than us flyover conservative rubes. Why can’t they figure out that putting hard core criminals, or any criminals for that matter, back on the street is not a good idea? Why are they always shocked at the outcome but continue to hang onto their failed ideas and policies?

WE, yes WE, are responsible for the mess we are in. Try to blame the elites, the Soros' and Gate's, our educational system, liberals....ad nauseum. But at the end of the day WE elected the politicians and share responsibility. WE let our government destroy the Black family and then wonder why Black fathers took a hike leaving wives and children to run wild and then turn our backs on the police we've asked to keep the crime out of our own neighborhoods. WE embraced violent culture in movies and music and then wonder why our children bring it to real life. WE tolerate the sexual irresponsibility in the athletes and stars we worship and then can't understand why children find it seemingly necessary to murder the infants in THEIR wombs. So I get the collective guilt and hand-washing our elites support with bail reform and other idiocy so that they can paper over their own sins. None of us will escape what we as a culture have done. ALL have sinned and unless we all admit this and return to God, judgement will be sure.

Danny Glover, low IQ putz who has no problem collecting big paychecks for shooting guns on TV and movies pays to release homeboy RaShawn (no need to look that one up) from jail and learns the hard way that his leftist sentiments are misplaced. Perfectly illustrates the saying, "Play stupid games, win stupid prizes."

The judges that release criminals back into society ought to also be held responsible. There doesn't seem to be anyone in leadership positions interested in protecting our society. Watched a special on NewsMax last night about the open border, the citizens living within 40 miles of the border are having their way of life completely destroyed and neither political party is doing anything about it, except send a few buses north. As long as politicians and famous do gooders can have the name and not the responsibility, the little people are at their mercy and the mercy of criminals and an invasion of our southern border.

A $3000 bail bond is not exorbitant or unreachable for most. The guy was a burglar, with no mention in the story of any violent past. So, between the judge and the DA bail was set. A $3000 bail bond is not exorbitant or unreachable for most. A car title loan would cover the bond, which can be just 10% of the actual bail. Sorry that the victim got shot eleven times. Honestly, seven to 18 years seems light, especially if the perp had a violent past.
Now, where is the concern for the J6 political prisoners?

What these bleeding heart ignorant liberals have successfully done is turn criminals into suppressed victims and their victims into the suppressors.

Those that let the criminal out of prison ARE totally responsible for new crimes, Put ALL of them in his Prison Cell along with the Criminal.

If you're for 'bail reform,' as it's described today, your are stupid or dishonest. Or both.

"In a plea deal, the 24-year-old was convicted of attempted robbery and mayhem, both with deadly weapon enhancements, according to News 3 Las Vegas.
Gaston-Anderson was sentenced in December to seven to 18 years behind bars for the shooting. "
Only 7 to 18 years? No charge of attempted murder? He shot a person 11 times. Sounds like he got off light for the shooting as well as for the first crime (which the article does not detail). How long before he is out of jail? Hopefully one of his gang banger buddies will do the job and kill him once he's out. Or the police will. He's a violent career criminal. Violence is met with violence, and he will eventually get what he deserves.

WE are not dealing with reasonable people in charge in California...they seem to have a mindset that whatever injures the populace is what they want...so then...it's left for US to figure out why...the lefties never do nothing that doesn't fit their narrative....why are they trying to empty California of citizens who follow the rules and live good lives...is it because they want to re/populate California with losers that can be manipulated and told what to do....in keeping with the southern border invaders who would make sure the new people vote democratic and let the politicians run the state...

These "prison reform" and "bail reform" and "prosecution reform" people are made up of two groups....criminals who want the law to leave them alone to steal and kill unchecked and the FOOLS with money and time who will work on these very harmful, stupid projects that anyone with a functioning brain can see in advance will result in more violence....death, injury and more stealing.

Groups like these SHOULD be sued when they pay to release a murderous thug and they do what thugs do best!! Hold these groups financially responsible when their pet thugs misbehave and perhaps it will change their way of thinking.
