Class Act: NFL Legendary Coach Rings Bells
This Christmas For a Good Cause

If you live in the United States, chances are you have probably encountered a Salvation Army volunteer ringing a bell outside of a supermarket. Dressed in red, standing alongside a donation pail hanging from a chain, Salvation Army volunteers are a sign Christmas is near and a great reminder it’s always better to give than to receive. Most volunteers are only known to their communities and are rarely known on the world stage. But that wasn’t the case outside of a Publix in North Tampa, Florida. Super Bowl champion head coach for the Indianapolis Colts Tony Dungy was spotted by several football fans ringing bells for charity.

Comments:

Good Godly men need no fanfare when they do good things.

Around the Tampa Bay area, there may not be a person who is more respected and loved than Tony Dungy. He is a Christian gentleman.

Perhaps they could announce that Dungy is their new CEO, and fire whoever tried to make them go woke. Rot always comes from the top! Our local SA can't stay open, due to the lack of volunteers. It used to be my preferred charity. They were great here during Katrina.

For Hollywood, 2022 was truly an annus horribilis. Major studios, streamers, cable providers, and other media giants lost a combined $542 billion in market value in 2022, with left-wing studios the Walt Disney Co., Netflix, and Comcast accounting for the bulk of the bloodshed. The Dow Jones Media Titans index, which tracks the performance of 30 of the world’s biggest media companies, shed 40 percent this year, with its total market value declining from $1.35 trillion to $808 billion, according to a Financial Times report. The losses outpaced indices for other sectors, including banking, which saw a 14.5 percent drop for the year, and telecommunications, which fell by 11.2 percent.

Merry Christmas, RedStaters! Here’s a nice holiday story for ya that doesn’t involve Biden, Putin, Pelosi, or Schumer. Instead, it centers around two great American creatures: men and horses, and it involves good friends, teamwork, persistence, and bravery. Here we go: a 1,200-pound horse escaped from its Wisconsin barn, found its way onto a frozen lake—and promptly fell through the ice. Known as “Big Wood Lake,” the site is known for its bass fishing, and I’m just going to have to flat-out steal borrow this line from CBS News: “but there’s never been a catch like this.”

Biden's Off on Yet Another Vacation

Does Joe Biden ever work? It seems like he’s always off on vacation. I think the last time we checked, he’d already taken more vacation than any of his recent predecessors at this point in his term in office. He’d spent about 40 percent of his time in office on vacation, we noted in November. That was even before his Thanksgiving vacation. At this point, the question isn’t when he’s on vacation, it’s when he isn’t on vacation. Yet, when he’s presented with the massive crisis at the border and whether he will ever be visiting the border, he responds that he doesn’t have time, he’s just so busy,

Do I need to explain this story in detail? I’m sure you can guess why a bail reform group had to close its operations in California: the people they were setting free decided to continue their life of crime. The last straw was this latest person they had sprung from jail who proceeded to shoot a server eleven times. Shocker—a career criminal, gets his bail posted by these clowns and proceeds to shoot up a restaurant. Now, who couldn’t have seen that coming? The group, The Bail Project, has some solid celebrity support behind it as well, so another added layer for why this operation decided to close

From the Gospel According to Luke, Chapter 2, Verses 1 through 20: And it came to pass in those days, that there went out a decree from Cæsar Augustus, that all the world should be taxed. (And this taxing was first made when Cyrenius was governor of Syria.) And all went to be taxed, every one into his own city. And Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judæa, unto the city of David, which is called Bethlehem; (because he was of the house and lineage of David). To be taxed with Mary his espoused wife, being great with child.

Police in a Tennessee city showed the true holiday spirit as well as outstanding service to their community when they pitched in to replace a child’s gifts after a human Grinch stole them and then set the family’s Christmas tree ablaze. Earlier this week, the Dyersburg Police Department said on Facebook that they had arrested a man after they responded to a call at a local apartment complex where the suspect was observed purloining the presents by an observant neighbor, also torching the tree in an act that reportedly stemmed from an “altercation” between the perp and the victim that took place prior to the incident.

Once again, Americans rank Christmas as their favorite holiday, and half of U.S. adults plan to attend religious services this season, a Rasmussen Reports poll found. Sixty percent of 1,100 American adults polled between Dec. 19-21 say Christmas is one of our nation’s most important holidays, up from 59 percent in 2021. The margin of sampling error is ±3 percentage points with a 95 percent level of confidence. “Christmas has consistently been rated the most important holiday by Americans, usually followed by the Fourth of July and Thanksgiving. This year, however, Veterans Day jumped into second place,” the poll report states.

I have many pagan, atheist, or agnostic friends who bypass Christmas, dismissing it as a commercial and religious quagmire in which they would rather not partake. But when December 21 (or whichever date is designated as the precise time) rolls around, they are big on the Winter Solstice wishes, rituals, and festivals. The Winter Solstice, also known as “Yule,” is a celebration of the sun, renewal, rebirth, and the continuation of life. It is the shortest day and the longest night of the year. Yule has been considered the “Festival of Light,” or “The Festival of the Sun,” as it celebrates the return of the sun

Let me suggest you read Oliver Cromwell’s speech to the rump Parliament of April 20, 1653. I can’t reproduce all of it in this article, but here are a few choice selections: “Ye are a factious crew, and enemies of all good government…Is there a single virtue now remaining amongst you? Is there not one vice you do not possess?...Ye have no more religion than my horse. Gold is your God…Ye are grown intolerably odious to the whole nation. The North American Aerospace Defense Command’s high-tech monitoring tool has added a modern tradition to countless households, as families show the young ‘uns exactly where Saint Nick and his team of reindeer are flying. And it also times out perfectly (at least where we live) for parents to be able to hasten the children to bed. I don’t know exactly when I became a fan of Charlie Brown and the “Peanuts” characters, but I can remember them being a huge part of my elementary school years, along with a group of friends who loved the comic strip. One thing I do know: A Charlie Brown Christmas has always been a part of my holiday celebrations, including this Christmas. Every year growing up, we would watch A Charlie Brown Christmas when it came on television. It was always on CBS, and Peter Paul candies sponsored it — I still remember the York Peppermint Patty and “Sometimes you feel like a nut” commercials.

The corporate media still pushes the narrative that global depopulation agenda is a “conspiracy theory.” If, by “conspiracy theory,” it’s meant that the global depopulation agenda is a theory describing a conspiracy of elites to depopulate the world, that’s a technically accurate label. But, if they mean by the term “conspiracy theory” that global depopulation is not true and anyone who subscribes to it is crazy (which is what they really mean), it’s just gaslighting. The truth’s right there in the public record for anyone to see. For instance, the chimpanzee lady Jane Goodall appeared at the World Economic Forum in 2020 to lobby for a global reduction in population

When fall comes around, everyone starts thinking about Christmas. People are getting their shopping lists ready and picking up items for their parties. For kids, this is the perfect opportunity to show off how good they’ve been during the year. Unfortunately, Christmas can also bring some very sad and tragic episodes. We’re not talking about getting the wrong size of clothes or the wrong video game system, either. Many times, people encounter terrible family situations, illness, or death. Anyone who watches the news will hear about something horrific happening during the holiday. Having to deal with a terrible scenario is something no one expects during such a joyous season.

The script is sickeningly familiar by now, isn’t it? Establishment Republicans -- led throughout the ’22 elections and in their aftermath by the notorious Kentucky senator-for-life Mitch McConnell -- betrayed their party’s base, which is staunchly conservative, increasingly in an America First sorta way.  Yes, lest one is confused because of all the serial betrayals, we’re referring to the gross obscenity called the “$1.7 trillion omnibus spending bill.” For true-blue conservatives, the brazen middle-finger thrust rudely into their faces by McConnell and seventeen other Senate go-alongs should be an act of war. Political war, that is.

At least 39 people have died from the wintry weather wreaking havoc across the U.S. over Christmas weekend. The highest number of fatalities is in New York state, where 17 people have died in the wake of a massive snowstorm, according to New York Gov. Kathy Hochul. In the middle of this wintery devastation, certain individuals decided this was an opportunity to destroy local businesses by looting them. At approximately 1730 EST, reports began to emerge in local media of looting incidents in Buffalo, NY, where residents are becoming desperate after three days of intense snowfall and cold temperatures. New York State Police confirmed the looting incidents.
