For Hollywood, 2022 was truly an annus horribilis. Major studios, streamers, cable providers, and other media giants lost a combined $542 billion in market value in 2022, with left-wing studios the Walt Disney Co., Netflix, and Comcast accounting for the bulk of the bloodshed. The Dow Jones Media Titans index, which tracks the performance of 30 of the world’s biggest media companies, shed 40 percent this year, with its total market value declining from $1.35 trillion to $808 billion, according to a Financial Times report. The losses outpaced indices for other sectors, including banking, which saw a 14.5 percent drop for the year, and telecommunications, which fell by 11.2 percent.

Hollywood...push foul, depraved, and slatternly behaviour as normal and even desirable, then notice the negative financial results. It has been years since I set foot in a movie theater. Disney now endorses homosexuality even in cartoon characters. I don't think that is what the public wants. Maybe Democrat activists, yes; for most people, no.

It's not just Disney. Every network has lost money as well with viewership dropping off as well. Attempting to cram all the woke BS down the throat of viewers just results in fewer people watching and the loss of advertising revenue.

By contrast you have Avatar about an environmentally perfect group of beings living in unity with their animals being attacked by evil American, highly mechanically destroying and attacking these beings and their world. Even though she's more tolerant than I am, she immediately switches off when two guys start making eyes or kissing each other (they ought to have a gay content advisory). I watched "League of Super-Pets" this Christmas, and it was awful. I've been wanting to see animated DC superheroes in theaters for ages...and this tripe is what makes it finally happen? Krypto the superdog gets a movie, and it's this superpowered ripoff of "The Life of Pets" with Maui's personality grafted on to Krypto. I kept wondering who the movie is for. For kids, there's poop and pee jokes galore. For adults, there's sexual references (Krypto nonchalantly talks about not getting to be in the bedroom when Lois "stays over." In a kids show.) Hollywood doesn't know how to make stuff for kids without an agenda. (It's brief, but another dog talks about her owner getting engaged and we see two women nearby.) This isn't a movie I'd feel good about showing a kid. That's messed up.

When they started allowing their stars to insult the paying audiences, the slide down to bankruptcy started for real. Most of us won't pay for the privilege of being insulted by overpaid morons with low IQs. But they have an even bigger problem. They are pushing the foulest of filth on audiences, and they need to realize enough is enough.

Merry Christmas, RedStaters! Here’s a nice holiday story for ya that doesn’t involve Biden, Putin, Pelosi, or Schumer. Instead, it centers around two great American creatures: men and horses, and it involves good friends, teamwork, persistence, and bravery. Here we go: a 1,200-pound horse escaped from its Wisconsin barn, found its way onto a frozen lake—and promptly fell through the ice. Known as “Big Wood Lake,” the site is known for its bass fishing, and I’m just going to have to flat-out steal borrow this line from CBS News: “but there’s never been a catch like this.”

I think the last time we checked, he’d already taken more vacation than any of his recent predecessors at this point in his term in office. He’d spent about 40 percent of his time in office on vacation, we noted in November. That was even before his Thanksgiving vacation. At this point, the question isn’t when he’s on vacation, it’s when he isn’t on vacation. Yet, when he’s presented with the massive crisis at the border and whether he will ever be visiting the border, he responds that he doesn’t have time, he’s just so busy,

I’m sure you can guess why a bail reform group had to close its operations in California: the people they were setting free decided to continue their life of crime. Shocker—a career criminal, gets his bail posted by these clowns and proceeds to shoot up a restaurant. Now, who couldn’t have seen that coming? The group, The Bail Project, has some solid celebrity support behind it as well, so another added layer for why this operation decided to close

And Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judæa, unto the city of David, which is called Bethlehem; (because he was of the house and lineage of David). If you live in the United States, chances are you have probably encountered a Salvation Army volunteer ringing a bell outside of a supermarket. Dressed in red, standing alongside a donation pail hanging from a chain, Salvation Army volunteers are a sign Christmas is near and a great reminder it’s always better to give than to receive. Most volunteers are only known to their communities and are rarely known on the world stage. But that wasn’t the case outside of a Publix in North Tampa, Florida. Super Bowl champion head coach for the Indianapolis Colts Tony Dungy was spotted by several football fans ringing bells for charity.

The margin of sampling error is ±3 percentage points with a 95 percent level of confidence. “Christmas has consistently been rated the most important holiday by Americans, usually followed by the Fourth of July and Thanksgiving.
