Sen. Joe Manchin Saturday demanded President Biden apologize for saying coal plants "all across America" will be shut down, in a scathing statement just days before crucial midterm elections.
"President Biden’s comments are not only outrageous and divorced from reality, they ignore the severe economic pain the American people are feeling because of rising energy costs," Manchin, D-W.Va., said. "Comments like these are the reason the American people are losing trust in President Biden and instead believes he does not understand the need to have an all in energy policy that would keep our nation totally energy independent and secure."

Biden is too far gone to "learn his lesson",
I have to say did Manchin learn his lesson? Does he finally realize that the party HE BELONGS to will lie to his face. Did Manchin learn that Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi USED him to pass that STUPID bill, then they stabbed him in the back. Did Manchin learn that he screwed over all of those who trusted and voted for him?

Ah, yes, the tough guy act aimed at West Virginians who have had their fill of Manchin's lies and back-stabbing Senate votes.
Save it, Joe, for your re-election campaign in two years, IF you fail to read the room then better than you read the room when you believed GOP Senators would counter-balance Bernie's and Liawatha's opposition to your "deal" with Schumer and gracefully retire before you get retired by them.

Resident Biden has been saying this since he started his campaign, if not before. Manchin knows this, and he still voted for the economy-killing bills pushed by this administration. Manchin is just another disingenuous liar, and I hope West Virginia has learned this lesson.

What lesson moron? You're one of his biggest enablers so STHU.
FTA: McConnell has been gently courting Manchin to join the GOP for years.
No thanks McConnell, we don't need another squishy Republican like you.

It's surprising that Manchin can demand anything with that knife stuck in his back. He's kind of a slow learner isn't he.

The First Vegetable has no history of apologizing. His stragedy is to make people forget about his last stupid statement by making a new one. We have Amber alerts. We need a Bidet alert. TVs and radios should broadcast there is a hoary senile lunatic wandering in front of microphones and spewing moronic drivel while claiming to be president of something.

Manchin should have thought about Biden and Schumer disregarding the interests of West Virginia before he colluded with them to vote for and pass their so-called inflation bill that is bound to increase inflation across West Virginia and he country.

Yes, this from the brave man that voted for the euphemistically named Inflation Acceleration Act which was loaded with coal killing Green New Deal laws. And according to the Press Quota, Biden's comment was just a joke taken out of context by right wingers like Dumb Arse Manchin. Oh Brother please spare us the false tears.

A little late, Joe. What is really frightening is that Biden and his puppeteers actually believe we can do without fossil fuels. Maybe one day, but that's decades in the future, and they want it now. This would bring on depression that would make the thirties one look like a slight downturn.
