Sen. Mike Lee (R-Utah) currently has a 10-point lead over his Independent challenger, Evan McMullin, according to a new Emerson College survey. The poll, published on Monday, found that 49 percent of likely Utah voters said they’ll vote for Lee in next week’s election, while 39 percent of respondents offered their support for McMullin. Seventy-one percent of Republican respondents said they’ll vote for Lee in next week’s election, and 23 percent said they will cast their vote for his opponent. Lee has shaken off Romney's stalking horse Egg McMuffin. It's still crazy that almost 1 in 4 Utah Republicans are not supporting Lee.

And yet Fox News just had Egg McMuffin on with Bret Baier prattling on about how tight this race is. Methinks Fox is peddling a fake narrative just to try to maintain interest in what by all accounts is shaping up to be a GOP blowout

McMullin is a total phony, down to the fake wife and kids he married up with to "prove" he's straight. He lives off of campaign funds while stiffing his campaign contracts. His ads are paid for by democrat pacs. He would support joe more than not.

Um, #5. Romney was the Republican presidential candidate in 2012. He got millions of votes from every state in the union, perhaps even from you. Most of those votes came from those who weren’t his “co-religionists.” He is a man of low character, a lousy senator but that hadn’t been completely revealed when Utahns put him in the Senate.

Lots of folks still get excited or exorcised by poll dancers... Every day there are new ones claiming to offer a view into the actual vote, a lot like the daily postings of mock drafts on sports pages.

I am a hard core, conservative Utahn. I will do for Mr. Lee what he claims in his ads that he has done for my nation. I will support him. I will "stand" for him. I will bridge the gap between extremes. In short, I will do everything but vote for him. That would be action. And that is something of which I have seen nothing from Mr. Lee and about which he makes no claims. Mr. Lee is supposedly the dean of the legal minds in Congress. I have yet to hear Mr. Lee inquire why there are 400 people incarcerated in D.C. Jail without bail, in a nation where the sole constitutional purpose of bail is to protect the community from danger and to prevent unattached individuals from fleeing. His opponent yaks endlessly about Lee taking money from special interest. That tired trope moves no one from their well established positions.

McMuffin is toast. As for Romney, #6 makes excellent points. Romney, a vagabond, was governor of Massachusetts back in 2003+. He was a middling governor, mostly known nationally for his awful no good very bad healthcare plan, aka Romney Care, cited as the progenitor of obamacare. He looks smooth, but he's really just sleazy. Hubby and I were glad to have moved out of the State prior to his governorship (although we got stuck with Shaheen in NH, a woman who still molders away in the Senate). Senator Lee is such a protector of and expert on the Constitution. Romney is driven by expedience, a grifter, shallow, and sneakily greedy.
