A major fuel supply and logistics company is raising a red flag on upcoming diesel fuel shortages. Mansfield Energy issued the alert Friday stating there was a developing diesel fuel shortage in the southeastern region of the United States. The company speculated that the shortage could be generated from "poor pipeline shipping economies" and a historically low supply of diesel reserves. (Snip) States expected to experience serious affects of the shortage include Maryland, Virginia, Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee, North Carolina and South Carolina. The Biden administration says it is keeping a close watch on diesel inventories and working to boost supplies

Don’t worry, the transportation secretary has it under control. He says, “just get an electric whatever-it-is-that-runs-on-diesel. I’m nursing. Diesel would be a cute name for one of our kids, wouldn’t it chastity? I’m exhausted. We need to find out what sex the kids think they wanna be.”

The oil companies can boost supplies. All that the Biden administration has to do is quit doing everything they have been doing.

It is worth noting that diesel fuel and heating oil are essentially the same thing...that is, while they are not quite the same thing, a furnace designed to run on heating oil and an engine designed to run on diesel fuel, can run on the other for extended periods of time, although not as efficiently as with the correct fuel, and in the case of a diesel engine (and perhaps an oil furnace as well) with greater wear and tear.

Don't school buses run on diesel at least the majority of them? Another way to keep kids from going to school, unless they walk or their parents take them.

There was a time, long, long ago, when I believed Washington was trying to solve problems not cause them. If transport came to a stop Buttogig (?) and company would love it. It's their agenda.
Take heed, Newsome - we'll see how California does without diesel trucks.

I feel a lot better knowing the Biden administration is keeping a ‘close watch’ on the situation! Joe Biden is the most inept person I’ve ever seen. He absolutely does nothing right. Nothing.

#8 might note that California has been the prototype for these Bolsheviks, and Governor Gruesom has been cavalier about it. They are most likely counting on this bringing the market economy down like the Twin Towers on 9/11...

Emptying the spr does not ”increase supplies”..it just takes existing stockers of mined. Oil out of an inventory that needs to be refilled. Keeping an “eye” on the supplies…does not require a DOT …just a computer…and only watches as the calamity unfolds. I expect most of us will not take kindly to living in stone age conditions, huddled hungry in the dark, trying to stay warm without adequate heat

Well if the wimpy Republicans take over the Congress after the midterm election, Biden can always fraudulently blame them for any shortages of diesel, heating, and industrial oil that pop up. No doubt there are a lot of low information to very stupid people out there who still believe any excuse that Biden spins to them for partisan political purposes. Beyond that, if there is no diesel oil to be had, the 18 wheelers can’t roll, and after that the entire US economy will come to a halt. When that is going on, Biden’s Transportation Secretary Peter Buttigieg (Mayor Pete) may well take parental leave again to help his husband take care of their kids.

This is the next of the things that the evil Demonrats are going to throw at us. If trucks can't get diesel fuel, the grocery stores will be empty in a day or two. Hope everyone is ready for that.

I stopped to buy gas at my usual station on Friday and all of the diesel pumps had those yellow plastic bags over the handles and signs saying “No diesel”.
Way to go, Joe.

I’ve been seeing stories on the coming diesel crisis for a few weeks now. My question - why isn’t diesel already $10 a gallon or more. The market response to shortages is higher prices, which both discourage consumption and encourage production, ultimately correcting the shortage. From Investopedia, “ There are three main causes of shortage—increase in demand, decrease in supply, and government intervention.” Higher prices would fix the first two, so what is the government doing that they aren’t telling us? Is this another intentional act to destroy our economy so the ruling class can swoop in and save us with the Great Reset? Bottom line, if the market is expecting a shortage prices should be rising.

Joey is working to increase diesel supplies? How? Certainly not by opening up drilling. The only thing he'll open up is the diesel reserve until there's nothing left. Joey is a complete incompetent moron.
