Libertarian U.S. Senate candidate Marc Victor said Tuesday he was ending his campaign and asking his supporters to back Republican Blake Masters in a move that could nudge a narrow slice of voters in a race already expected to be close. Victor, an attorney whose campaign to oust Sen. Mark Kelly, D-Ariz., was always a long shot, held a one-on-one conversation with Masters on Monday that convinced him the best option for people who share his outlook this year is Masters. (Snip) The effect of Victor's exit remains to be seen, but would seem to only help Masters. It comes

Comments:

This is helpful. Unfortunately, some have probably voted early for the Libertarian candidate.

A little too late. Dropping out doesn't help when your name will still be on the ballot and many of your supporters won't get the message in time. Third party candidates largely hurt only one candidate - the Republican.

C'mon. Everyone on here is going to complain he did it too late? He did it. It helps. A lot. Stop ingesting Black Pills all the time. There is a shift coming in the country. Not all will win but, if those that do win hold true to their word AND WE hold them accountable to their word, the next election will be an even bigger blow out.

I don’t get it, the candidate was running as a libertarian, and these days libertarians should have more in common with Republicans than with Democrats. If the candidate says he is supporting masters, then he wasn’t a real libertarian.

This 30 day+ early voting is ridiculous. Maybe nor more than a 7 early period. If you know you will not be able to vote on Election DAY then you request an absentee ballot. If you're on call and might be called into work on election DAY or work as a fireman or something, then yeah, I can support early voting with limits.

This should mean that all of the votes he received should be added to the Masters column.
