Are Republicans prepared for the aftermath
of the ‘Red Flood’?

Original Article

It is my opinion that this midterm election will not be a “red wave” or a “red tsunami.” I predict a Red Flood of almost Noahic proportions. First will come the overwhelming rejection of the Biden agenda on November 8. Then will come the rejoicing by most of Red America. But after that, the illegalities will begin, starting with challenging the vote counts and the calls for recounts. Then it will escalate to violence unless there is a plan to nip it in the bud before it starts.

Do the have a plan to plug the border and round up and deport all illegals? A plan to fix the economy? Plan to restore energy systems? A health care plan (they have never produced any healthcare plan). These should be written and sent to Biden on day one in January. Day two impeachment proceedings had better begin!

As usual, Republicans will sit back and let it happen, just like they let the Dems cheat Dino Rossi and Norm Coleman out of their wins.

A CBS/YouGov poll shows that in gthe last two weeks, there's an 18% swing of independents to Republicans. However, as Yogi used to say, "It ain't over til it's over" and all those dead people and mail-in ballot box stuffers have been counted.

My biggest fear is that Republicans who gain power will fail to use it. The first thing that should be done is to either put the Jan 6 people who are rotting illegally in jail on trial or release them. Next they should negate every EO that Joe Biden signed on his first day. Do I have faith that the Republican party will assume this responsibility and do what is right. Don't make me laugh.

They should start passing legislation and make creepy joe veto everything. Stuff like border security and real inflation reduction that doesn't include hiring thousands of IRS agents. Course they won't do it, and they creepy rinos in the senate won't go along with it anyway. So maybe they could just star holding hearings on things like voter fraud, the FBI meddling in political races, etc. to make the propaganda outlets cover them.

Never fear, the Republicans will mess up any 'victory' they may achieve. You have look at their history. The reality is they are no different than the dims, they just say they are. Need proof? Does 'Repeal and Replace' ring a bell? Once they are declared winners they immediately begin to determine the best way to divert money to their accounts and the accounts of family, friends, business associates and political contributors. A pox on them all.

The Republicans have no plan to solve the biggest problem we have with all politicians having unlimited power in every detail of our lives, and that is to reduce the size of government by 75%. We have to go back to the 1800's when people focused on their own lives and work, rather than every minute on DC.

Based on history, no, I am not expecting much out of the Republicans after they (hopefully) take control of both houses of Congress. Part of that is that there are limits on what they can do given that they won't have a veto-proof majority in the Senate. The other part is that the Republicans tend to become spineless every time they get power. They decide to "play nice" with the Demon-Rats, and waste the chances they do have to make a difference. However, what they can do is stalemate Lyin' Joe bidet and the Demon-Rat minorities in Congress. So not much will be accomplished, but at least that is a billion times better than what the Demon-Rats could do in the next 2 years with control of Congress and the presidency. I have already voted, and I assure you not one Demon-Rat got my vote. Now I just pray that the Republicans win and prove me wrong on their spine-lessness!!!!

If we do manage to overcome the cheating and win, I’m more immediately concerned about what the left will do out in our streets. It could make the George Floyd riots look like a Sunday School picnic. We’d best prepare for that before we worry about what our guys will and won’t do in Congress.

If Republicans win, it’s the end of democracy 14 replies

We should hope so. Democracy is mob rule. Democracy is rule by majority. We do not have a direct democracy. We never had one. America was never set up for that. We have a representative republic, where the representatives we voters choose make the decisions as to what legislation to approve or disapprove, according to what we want. That necessitates that our representatives actually ask us now and then what we want instead of voting how they want without our input. Elementary civics lesson over. Hillary Clinton derided Republicans in a keynote address during the New York Democrat party convention in February:…

For quite a while now, ever since Obama talked about the Constitution being a "charter of negative liberties," the left have been behaving as if our Constitution did not exist. Obama's comments and those of other radicals regarding how the Constitution is no longer applicable to today's America reveal a breathtaking disdain for this most brilliant document. Radicals are determined to ignore the Constitution without doing so publicly, thereby destroying it without actually saying that's what they want to do. And so the left have simply decided to ignore the constitutional protections that Americans enjoy against governmental overreach.

Is it “cruel” to send illegal immigrants to Martha’s Vineyard, as Press Secretary Karine Jeanne-Pierre says? Was it also cruel when the Biden administration sent illegals from the border to Red states? What is the difference in the level of cruelty between liberals sending their illegals to red states and conservatives sending theirs to blue states and cities, or is it cruel only when conservatives do it? Liberals are on board for virtue-signaling diversity (and the crime) that comes of illegal immigration so long as it is NIMBY. Does cruelty accrue only when Democrats are hurt?

There has been a creeping meme among some Republican voters indicating that they will refuse to vote because they are fed up with congressional Republicans. They are telling everyone who will listen how horrible congressional Republicans are and are asking, "Why vote when our representatives do nothing and get nothing done?" People who advocate not voting are advocating surrender to the leftist mob and surrender to Democrats who have ruined a perfectly good country. They are recommending surrender to the leftists who are persecuting Republican conservatives. There is no other way to read this: If you won't vote, you turn the reins of what power you have over to Democrats.

I have noticed that our culture is filled with newly uneducated people, if education is viewed as the accumulated learning of history, math, literature, thought, and functional independent living. Only yesterday, people who went to college learned how to support themselves, how to treat and counsel others, how to build things, write things, how to interpret what they read, how to talk to other people for comity's sake, and how to build secure families. But the Eutopians* are pounding their spears on our borders.

It seems like just yesterday that politicians would try to sway voters to come to their point of view and cast a vote for them. Things have changed. In the past week, Charlie Crist told conservative voters he wants nothing to do with them because they're evil; Kathy Hochul told Republicans to leave her state; and, in the culmination of this abuse, Joe Biden effectively affixed the label "fascist" to Trump's 74,216,154 voters (all of whom are actual human beings). Is it any coincidence that, in the same week, activists twice swatted Marjorie Taylor Greene?

Or even this November, despite signs that things are turning around for the better. Democrats love taxes and have said that if they win, taxes on businesses and individuals will skyrocket. They promised it and they are delivering. Deluded, vindictive people in Congress voted to deliberately raise your taxes while saying they are not doing so.

When President Trump re-takes the White House in 2024, we conservatives will be in charge of the House of Representatives and possibly the Senate. That is the time to fix what has gone so horribly wrong ever since COVID and the 2020 election. Having read Trump’s book, “The Art of the Deal,” I am going to attempt a death-defying feat here by offering him advice. His book reveals him to be infinitely patient and a strategic thinker, making few mistakes. He’s a winner, a fighter, and I take a great risk by daring to give him advice. Nevertheless, here is a list of priorities I’d like to see implemented.

Governor Kathy Hochul signed a bill last year that will compel certain speech be used when addressing or referring to LGBTQ or trans people. It is not constitutional and will be overturned. Legislation S.5325/A.6193 is very strange because it mandates that utility companies "allow customers to use what preferred name and pronoun they want." I was not aware that utility companies ever forbade customers their silly pronouns and preferred names, but apparently Kathy believes this has been the case.
