The Eutopians want our obedience

I have noticed that our culture is filled with newly uneducated people, if education is viewed as the accumulated learning of history, math, literature, thought, and functional independent living. Only yesterday, people who went to college learned how to support themselves, how to treat and counsel others, how to build things, write things, how to interpret what they read, how to talk to other people for comity's sake, and how to build secure families. But the Eutopians* are pounding their spears on our borders.

Mathews’ predictions don’t take into account the Second Amendment and the 500 million plus guns in the hands of private citizens. Remember, all of the citizens of the Soviet/Eastern European bloc had their guns confiscated after WWII but they still managed to tear down their communist regimes without them.

Great article on a profound and troubling subject. The Democrat Party of today is irrational. They are in power at the moment and doing everything they can to hold on to it. Common sense, fairness and decency are no longer in their minds or vocabulary. The Dems spend all their energy, time and money to gain more power over us - and to hell with the American people.

Anybody ever see those YouTube videos where a sort of man on the street asks young people simple questions that they can't answer? Such as how many moons does the Earth have, what continent are we currently on, how many states are there, and so on? They seem to never know. Ask them where they go to school and they answer UCLA. Is this possible?

Sorry. I dont do obedience. It cost me a lot of butt whoopings as a kid and a lot of problems in the military, but I sleep well and I'm less controlled than a lot of people. If you want sheep, I'm not your boy.

My grandson just turned 20 finished his mechanic training because he didn't want to attend college for a degree. The school still had book subjects with non-mechanic education and hands on work with testing. Paying as he went practically working off his debt for his test in his skill of vehicle mechanics. My grandson is debt free, works for a business where he started out planning to purchase it now buying used cars to repair and sell there is great demand for them. He has since brought in a number of like-minded friends to work with him. He gets his politics when he visits me (his father also) his friends are like him so there is still hope in youth. There is a different kind of Eutopia for some.

It seems like just yesterday that politicians would try to sway voters to come to their point of view and cast a vote for them. Things have changed. In the past week, Charlie Crist told conservative voters he wants nothing to do with them because they're evil; Kathy Hochul told Republicans to leave her state; and, in the culmination of this abuse, Joe Biden effectively affixed the label "fascist" to Trump's 74,216,154 voters (all of whom are actual human beings). Is it any coincidence that, in the same week, activists twice swatted Marjorie Taylor Greene?

My friends have been telling me to stop worrying, that God is in control. I know that, but I cannot help but worry and wonder what to do if Democrats win in 2024. Or even this November, despite signs that things are turning around for the better. Democrats love taxes and have said that if they win, taxes on businesses and individuals will skyrocket. They promised it and they are delivering. Deluded, vindictive people in Congress voted to deliberately raise your taxes while saying they are not doing so.

When President Trump re-takes the White House in 2024, we conservatives will be in charge of the House of Representatives and possibly the Senate. That is the time to fix what has gone so horribly wrong ever since COVID and the 2020 election. Having read Trump’s book, “The Art of the Deal,” I am going to attempt a death-defying feat here by offering him advice. His book reveals him to be infinitely patient and a strategic thinker, making few mistakes. He’s a winner, a fighter, and I take a great risk by daring to give him advice. Nevertheless, here is a list of priorities I’d like to see implemented.
Hochul's Compelled Speech Bill is Just

Governor Kathy Hochul signed a bill last year that will compel certain speech be used when addressing or referring to LGBTQ or trans people. It is not constitutional and will be overturned. Legislation S.5325/A.6193 is very strange because it mandates that utility companies "allow customers to use what preferred name and pronoun they want." I was not aware that utility companies ever forbade customers their silly pronouns and preferred names, but apparently Kathy believes this has been the case.

The FBI responded on Friday to Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg's claims that the agency warned Facebook about the Hunter Biden laptop story in October 2020. During an appearance on the Joe Rogan Experience, Zuckerberg told the comedian the feds told the social media giant to be vigilant in the face of Russian disinformation campaigns prior to the 2020 presidential election. Zuckerberg said the FBI did not name the Hunter Biden story specifically but it 'fit the pattern' of what the agency had discussed. In a statement, the FBI said the agency 'routinely notifies' social media companies about potential security threats.

Rock legend Ozzy Osbourne and his family are leaving the United States for good — and according to a recent interview, their reasons have more to do with social and political issues than they do with the aging rocker’s recent health concerns. Osbourne recently returned to Birmingham, England, for a performance that a series of health scares nearly derailed any possible returns to the stage — and he spoke with The Observer about everything from his health to his plans to move back to the United Kingdom. Hollywood star Drew Barrymore has been accused of “racism” for posting a video of herself dancing in the rain on social media. The short video shows Barrymore filming herself laughing, dancing, and encouraging others to enjoy the pouring rain. However, leftists pounced on the video and argued that it’s “racist” because she’s “frolicking in the rain.” The accusation comes from a “woke” activist with the handle @amushroomblackly who posted a video response, that quickly went viral, and accused Barrymore of cultural insensitivity. “Whenever you can, go out into the rain,” Barrymore says in her video.

America would have to install 30 million electronic vehicle charging ports by 2030 if half of drivers switch to EVs by the time California's ban on gas cars takes effect. If half of all vehicles sold are zero-emission by 2030, the country would need 1.2 million public chargers and 28 million private chargers by that year—which a McKinsey report claims would cost more than $35 billion over eight years.(Snip)The country has over 128,000 public EV charging outlets and at least 4,500 private charging stations—in comparison with about 150,000 gas stations—and faces a daunting task in trying to build out for its needs.

Colorado Secretary of State Jena Griswold claimed Republicans plan to attack Americans’ right to vote if they are able to win this year’s midterm elections. “What we can expect from the extreme Republicans running across this country is to undermine free and fair elections for the American people, strip Americans of the right to vote, refuse to address security breaches and, unfortunately, be more beholden to Mar-a-Lago than the American people,” the Colorado Democrat said during an interview with the Guardian. Griswold pointed out that many Republicans in competitive elections have echoed claims made by former President Donald Trump

A plan to save migratory salmon by demolishing four hydroelectric dams on California’s Klamath River got backing from the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission Friday. FERC released the final version of the environmental impact statement evaluating the dam demolition plan. FERC commissioners will vote on whether or not to implement the plan later this year. The dam’s operators filed an application to surrender the Lower Klamath Hydroelectric Project on Nov. 17, 2020. The project rests on 400 acres of federal land in Oregon and California, and consists of the Copco 1, Copco 2, Iron Gate, and J.C. New COVID-19 booster shots are set to be authorized this week by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and will be available to most Americans before human testing has even been completed. The shots have been modified to target the latest Omicron variant, but won't have finished testing in humans when the FDA makes the decision. Instead, the FDA is relying on data from other sources - like research in mice and older vaccines, the Wall Street Journal reported.

The conditions are right for confession. Meghan, relaxing in a cozy chair, gazes over all that is climate-controlled and high-ceilinged and sun-dappled and perfectly marshmallowy, and hers. An invisible hand has lit a Soho House–branded rose-water candle (the founder, Nick Jones, is a friend from “long before I met Harry,” she says), and that scent fills the air, mingling with the gentle tones of a flamenco-inflected guitar floating from a speaker. Then, in the lull in conversation, Meghan turns to me and leans forward to ask in a conspiratorial hush, “Do you want to know a secret?

The media may think their clever reporting is hiding Biden’s decline from the world, but the world is well aware of it. Particularly in Australia. Sky News Australia host Andrew Bolt spoke with psychiatrist Tanveer Ahmed on his show and discussed Ahmed’s take on the cognitive condition of the leader of the free world. They weren’t the only ones who noticed this strange behavior from Biden and things are just getting worse. The New York Times published an article earlier this year on how “uncomfortable” Biden’s age is “for him, his team, and his party
