God is in control but we must act

My friends have been telling me to stop worrying, that God is in control. I know that, but I cannot help but worry and wonder what to do if Democrats win in 2024. Or even this November, despite signs that things are turning around for the better. Democrats love taxes and have said that if they win, taxes on businesses and individuals will skyrocket. They promised it and they are delivering. Deluded, vindictive people in Congress voted to deliberately raise your taxes while saying they are not doing so.

If God was in control at this moment would things be in such a mess??? This doctrine is not Biblical and not accurate. I John 5:19: the whole world is in the power of the wicked one. Ultimately God will be in control but because of Adam’s sin He isn’t now.

Yes, ‘In the beginning God.’ He still is ‘The Way, The Truth, and The Life.’ Trust Him. Read Joshua 1. “I will never leave you nor forsake you. Be strong and of good courage.” Pray Daily. Memorize a Psalm… Keep sharing the Truth of Scripture… Keep an extra Bible in your car to give away… Then sign up at your local precinct to be a poll watcher on Nov 8th. TBIYTC

#1, God being in control doesn't mean everything goes well. Things go horribly wrong but it isn't God's fault, it's man's fault. He give us a leash. Always, at the end of every awful thing that He allows to happen, there is some good that comes from it. We don't know His plan and would be outrageously hubristic to assume we do. So yes, things can still be "in such a mess" with God in control. Don't assume God never allows messes. Bad ones.

Forgot to add, #1, your concern is real, I’ve been praying about it for months now… He has comforted me by the Word each day and through prayer; His Spirit has brought me to believe that He is allowing all this evil in America [whom Our Forefathers dedicated to Him and where Pilgrims from England/Holland came and founded for Religious Liberty] to remind more Americans and now the World to come back to God and His Righteousness… Another reason to have a darling, dear Yorkie pup, Miss GoGo Qadash so we can witness when we walk. Qadash is ‘chosen one’ in Hebrew, I explain. Like the Good LORD chose me, I chose her! Keep looking up, Dear Friends…

#1, did you read 1John 5:18? Here it is: "We know that those who have become part of God's family do not make a practice of sinning, for God's son holds them securely, and the evil one cannot get his hands on them." I have a wall hanging that says: "God doesn't give us what we can handle, He helps us handle what we are given." God is constantly cleaning up after people who don't view God as sovereign. He is the authority but, unfortunately, we keep voting for people who are not after God's heart. There only after their own hearts.

It always amazes me that some think God, who is omnipotent and all-knowing, doesn't know what's going on. I somehow don't believe our Federal taxes are #1 on His list of earthly concerns, nor American politics. Keep your powder dry!

This Week I have been reading a history of WW2 pilots. Each man told his story, where he grew up and how he got into flying. And, it struck me. Everyone spoke of a period around 1939 when they knew something terrible was coming. They did not know what. But, it was like a hurricane waiting just beyond the horizon. The Felt it. It's 1939 again. The Storm is Coming. Do you Feel it?

Always include Father in your decisions. He will guide us to the bricks, but we must do the building. Father gave us free will. He does not "allow" evil and chaos, rather the evil and chaos which surround us now are when men turn away from Him and harken to satan.

“ The horse is prepared for the day of battle, but deliverance is of the Lord” (Proverbs 21:31 “There must be religion. When that ligament is torn, society is disjointed and its members perish. The nation is exposed to foreign violence and domestic convulsion. Vicious rulers, chosen by vicious people, turn back the current of corruption to its source. Placed in a situation where they can exercise authority for their own emolument, they betray their trust. They take bribes. They sell statutes and decrees. They sell honor and office. They sell their conscience. They sell their country. By this vile traffic they become odious and contemptible…. But the most important of all lessons is the denunciation of ruin to every State that rejects the precepts of religion” - Gouverneur Morris “[I]f we and our posterity reject religious instruction and authority, violate the rules of eternal justice, trifle with the injunctions of morality, and recklessly destroy the political constitution which holds us together, no man can tell how sudden a catastrophe may overwhelm us that shall bury all our glory in profound obscurity.” - Daniel Webster “No country upon earth ever had it more in its power to attain these blessings than United America. Wondrously strange, then, and much to be regretted indeed would it be, were we to neglect the means and to depart from the road which Providence has pointed us to so plainly; I cannot believe it will ever come to pass.” - George Washington “[I]f My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land. Now My eyes will be open and My ears attentive to prayer made in this place…. But if you turn away and forsake My statutes and My commandments which I have set before you, and go and serve other gods, and worship them, then I will uproot them from My land which I have given them; and this house which I have sanctified for My name I will cast out of My sight, and will make it a proverb and a byword among all peoples…. [E]veryone who passes by it will be astonished and say, “Why has the Lord done thus to this land and this house?” Then they will answer, “Because they forsook the Lord God of their fathers… and embraced other gods, and worshiped them and served them; therefore He has brought all this calamity on them (2 Chronicles 7:14-22; cf. Absolutely, #13. James said that faith without works is dead. He was speaking of salvation, but every victory that was accomplished throughout scripture including in battle involved prayerful, obedient actions - not prayer and faith alone. Without it the enemy prevailed. The Lord became human and took the ultimate action for our salvation. The apostles didn’t pray then sit down and expect God to spread the Gospel. They suffered many hardships and ultimately gave their lives as well, excepting John. Our Founders didn’t build this Republic by faith and prayer alone and we won’t preserve it unless we are willing to follow their example of faith and prayer followed by action. For those who are no longer capable of physical action, then prayer is a much needed work that can be done, along with whatever support one is capable of providing.

Nothing irks me more than to hear indolent, spiritually lazy people say "God is in control" as they yawn, roll over and go back to sleep. Judging from the posts above, I am not the only one. Love to God's L-dotters! :-) God is a spirit. He has no hands and feet, no eyes, ears or heart on earth other than yours. He is not stupid; He sees and knows. He guides, directs, enables, inspires, provides for and supports those who are willing to act on His behalf to see that truth and justice prevail in this world He created. He is not a careless, dispassionate observer and He does not expect His children to be either. Evil always counts Him out. It is up to those who live in His love and goodness to count Him in. I remember hearing a TV preacher say "two-thirds of the word God is GO!" If you can go physically, GO! Do what you can to participate in the political process, pray for wisdom, direction and guidance from God in scripture. Stand firm in what you know to be right, proper and true. If you cannot go physically, GO in prayer. Some go forward, some stay behind to guard the camp. All share equally in the spoils. Pray for God to grace those who are on the front lines with courage, wisdom and His strength; stand in prayer with those anointed to invade satans territory; ask God to give cunning and tenacity to godly leaders all over the world; pray God's protection over all of them, their resources, and their families. Pray God will raise up people of good conscience and goodwill who will act to uphold the good and the same who will act to expose and destroy evil - its fruits above ground and its roots below ground. (Amos 2:9) John Adams said: "Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other." Clearly, we dropped the moral ball and the religion ball was snatched out of our hands. But, we live in a country worth saving. So, find your place and get in it. GO!

God is absolutely one hundred percent in control. It doesn't matter what's going on in the world, He's solidly in control. We just don't have the capacity to fully understand what that means, but it doesn't negate the truth. He rules and reigns. There are too many scriptures that point to the destruction of the wicked to make one think that they are solidly in control. They will crash and burn; and there are so many ways they can fall. Think about it; dictators make a mess of nations they control. Chaos rules all around them; they're constantly imprisoning and killing people to have some semblance of control. They are evil and incompetent, and they end up losing power some kind of way, mainly death. Who controls death alone? God!

Has (sic) affirmative action hiring practices caused overall competence to plummet? The record appears to show exactly that. For no good reasons whatsoever, competence was allowed to die on the vine in order to give the less competent a leg up. Not equality but superiority rules the hiring, firing, and education of Americans. Worse, many of those who were affirmatively hired do not do as good a job as those whose excellence was obvious. You can see it in customer service, which for many businesses is abysmally incompetent. There is a resentful casualness in those who are hired to serve others that would not have been acceptable even two decades ago.
America’s spiritual crisis revealed

Some are saying that the death of Tyre Nichols was due to “bad policing” or perhaps affirmative action hiring. Neither is truly the main reason. The Tyre Nichols tragedy was due to a spiritual void where the perpetrators have no conscience. You don’t behave so viciously toward anyone unless you have it in your soul, your being, to be that way. And because the human race is fallen, deeply prone to bad behavior, born to be bad, so to speak, human beings default to that evil fallen state.

It is my opinion that this midterm election will not be a “red wave” or a “red tsunami.” I predict a Red Flood of almost Noahic proportions. First will come the overwhelming rejection of the Biden agenda on November 8. Then will come the rejoicing by most of Red America. But after that, the illegalities will begin, starting with challenging the vote counts and the calls for recounts. Then it will escalate to violence unless there is a plan to nip it in the bud before it starts.

We should hope so. Democracy is mob rule. Democracy is rule by majority. We do not have a direct democracy. We never had one. America was never set up for that. We have a representative republic, where the representatives we voters choose make the decisions as to what legislation to approve or disapprove, according to what we want. That necessitates that our representatives actually ask us now and then what we want instead of voting how they want without our input. Elementary civics lesson over. Hillary Clinton derided Republicans in a keynote address during the New York Democrat party convention in February:…

For quite a while now, ever since Obama talked about the Constitution being a "charter of negative liberties," the left have been behaving as if our Constitution did not exist. Obama's comments and those of other radicals regarding how the Constitution is no longer applicable to today's America reveal a breathtaking disdain for this most brilliant document. Radicals are determined to ignore the Constitution without doing so publicly, thereby destroying it without actually saying that's what they want to do. And so the left have simply decided to ignore the constitutional protections that Americans enjoy against governmental overreach.

Is it “cruel” to send illegal immigrants to Martha’s Vineyard, as Press Secretary Karine Jeanne-Pierre says? Was it also cruel when the Biden administration sent illegals from the border to Red states? What is the difference in the level of cruelty between liberals sending their illegals to red states and conservatives sending theirs to blue states and cities, or is it cruel only when conservatives do it? Liberals are on board for virtue-signaling diversity (and the crime) that comes of illegal immigration so long as it is NIMBY. Does cruelty accrue only when Democrats are hurt?

There has been a creeping meme among some Republican voters indicating that they will refuse to vote because they are fed up with congressional Republicans. They are telling everyone who will listen how horrible congressional Republicans are and are asking, "Why vote when our representatives do nothing and get nothing done?" People who advocate not voting are advocating surrender to the leftist mob and surrender to Democrats who have ruined a perfectly good country. They are recommending surrender to the leftists who are persecuting Republican conservatives. There is no other way to read this: If you won't vote, you turn the reins of what power you have over to Democrats.

It seems like just yesterday that politicians would try to sway voters to come to their point of view and cast a vote for them. Things have changed. In the past week, Charlie Crist told conservative voters he wants nothing to do with them because they're evil; Kathy Hochul told Republicans to leave her state; and, in the culmination of this abuse, Joe Biden effectively affixed the label "fascist" to Trump's 74,216,154 voters (all of whom are actual human beings). Is it any coincidence that, in the same week, activists twice swatted Marjorie Taylor Greene?

Having read Trump’s book, “The Art of the Deal,” I am going to attempt a death-defying feat here by offering him advice.
