Just before leaving office, former President Barack Obama told reporters in private remarks he was concerned about a breakdown of democratic norms over a "sustained period" should Donald Trump serve more than one term as president. Obama gave an off-the-record interview to reporters on Jan. 17, 2021, to discuss several topics, including the election of Trump over former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, according to documents obtained by Bloomberg and released by the Justice Department as part of a Freedom of Information Act request. After the election, Obama said he was most worried about preserving the democratic process so that if people are dissatisfied

This from a "man" who allowed the FBI/Stasi to spy on Trump and tried to overturn the 2016 election? He is lecturing America about the danger of mean tweats to "democracy"? Amazing how often the Dems forget we are a "republic". Mob rule is their goal.

He mentions the democratic process. He is not talking about democracy. The democrat party subtly changed its name to the democratic party in everyones mind. When he says democratic process, he means the party's processes. He mentions them in a different form later when he states that eight years would be able to alter the norms. The norms are those put in place by the democratic party

Obama gave an off-the-record interview to reporters on Jan. 17, 2021..." How does that make sense? I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure the date of the interview discussed above was January 17, 2017, three days before Obama left office. Bloomberg received that information from DoJ, perhaps inadvertently, with other documents from a FOIA request. I couldn't access the entire Bloomberg article, but could still read the date of the interview within the article, and it took place on January 17, 2017.

The arrogant liar speaks and it infuriates that he is willing to go to these depths. He projects all the policies he supports on to President Trump. The assumption that he holds the world’s wisdom in his little pointy head is laughable. He is merely regurgitating the ideas of his heroes Marx, Alinsky, Ayers and every other communist that has come down the pike. Obama is a total fraud intellectually. He has BS’d is way through life and was lucky enough to be what democrats needed to launch their full throated support of communism. He was young, cool, good looking, and most of all the right shade of caramel. He also was willing and dedicated to their godless anti-American agenda. The guy was all fluff and little substance and went on to believe the hype created by the media. He is a god in his mind when in actuality he is nothing but a fraud pontificating to a worshiping audience. He was a disaster for the country as President and set the table for the final destruction of the Republic. President Trump interrupted his destruction and showed the American people exactly how devastating Obama was to this country. Because of that, Obama retaliated and started the unprecedented war to destroy him. If we could condense the political war that is being conducted in this country today, two men would shake out. It would be Barack Obama versus Donald Trump. Obama has taken President Trump’s success in his short four year term as a personal affront and he has been the power behind the Biden cabal. He may not be the brain trust, but he definitely is the driving force behind everything that has been done. He is providing the motivation and his minions are running the show. He wants his pound of flesh. I pray that the American voter can once and for all put this little arrogant pipsqueak in his place and show the world we are free people unimpressed with the boy king and his little marionette, Joey.

Obama and his minions can now redesign their Monday morning quarterbacking all they wish, but the fact is that Trump as President never did anything to bring down democracy while he defended his and the country’s interests. By using the term “breakdown of democratic norms” Obama and his minions were obviously talking about the political interests of the leftist, progressive, and socialist Democrats. That’s why the Democrats today are so afraid of Trump and the Republican MAGA supporters and voters.

There's no way to describe Barry other than to agree with those who say that the US is under divine judgment: he embodies all that is demonic and diabolical in one slick package, from his rhetoric to his philosophy to all the immoral and malicious decisions he made behind the scenes while in power --- every single one designed to destroy the country and nothing else. I'm glad to see that his putrid soul is being reflected on his face more and more as time goes on, if you carefully examine recent photos. He.looks.wasted. And NO, he's not a "good" dad, and he's not a "good" example for black boys; he did nothing for the black community except pull the usual leftist wool over their blinded eyes. He thought Trayvon Martin was a wonderful kid and his own daughters shouldn't be punished by having a baby that they could abort. It's time for decent people to get their lily whites off the Barry-suckup band wagon and call him for what he truly is: an entitled, narcissistic, filthy rich puppet reflecting his equally decadent voting base.

Experts project inflation will cost American families $5,520 in 2022. Since the Democrats assumed control of the legislative and executive branches of government, Americans have lost $4,200 in annual income, a recent Heritage Foundation study shows. Sixty-one percent of general election voters believe the economy is in a recession. According to the Ipsos poll, 43 percent of Americans fear that inflation will continue to soar under Democrat rule if the party remains in power on Capitol Hill. Democrats have been frustrated by the fact that Republicans have been more successful with patriotic messaging than they since at least the 60’s. Medical school was once aimed at applying scientific knowledge to treat the sick and injured. But these days, we’re told society itself is sick, and it must be healed by the elixir of enlightenment. Therefore, devoted future doctors in Minnesota are pledging to wokeness and a complete righting of the world’s wrongs. (snip) What arguably stands out most is the group’s denouncement of science. Western medicine only has value if it’s the correct approach to physical health.

Chris Cuomo has returned to the airwaves for the first time since he was ousted from CNN, insisting that he has 'learnt lessons' from his ignominious departure, and promising to counter 'groupthink.' 'This show will be topical, but it won't be typical,' said Cuomo, 52, in what was seen as a thinly-veiled dig at his former employer. 'I'm not going to follow the pack - I'm here to expose the game.' Cuomo was fired from CNN in December 2021 after it emerged that he had been secretly advising his brother Andrew, the then-governor of New York, on media strategy when he was confronted with allegations of sexual harassment.

I don’t know how many times I have written some iteration of the theme that Joe Biden is a miserable lying dog-faced pony soldier, but he is, and he’s at it again. On Monday Joe Biden tweeted more lies to compound his previous lies about abortion and morality. Monday’s fib is slightly nuanced about abortion. His characterization of Republicans being in league with the Devil, is not. Biden has characterized Republicans in general, and Trump supporters in particular. as threats to democracy and vote suppressors. And now today, he claims that Republicans are just plain evil (because they don’t want babies murdered).
