The National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) is still missing Trump administration records that it sought after the former president's term ended, the agency said in a letter on Friday. 'The National Archives has confirmed to the Oversight Committee that they still have not received all presidential records from the Trump White House,' Acting Archivist Debra Steidel Wall said. Wall said the Department of Justice (DOJ) would be consulted about whether 'to initiate an action for the recovery of records unlawfully removed' by White House officials. Further information about what action could be taken remains unclear, but the DoJ's warning raises the specter of another potential raid

This whole thing is a tinkling contest using a Trump hating bureaucrat at the archives as a reason for the raids. This person is just a useful idiot that will suffer no repercussions for these unlawful acts. The national archives needs to be stripped of long term employees just line the FBI and DOJ.

What about the documents that BO took with him?
Oh, that's right. BO is purer than the wind-driven snow.

Are Obama's 33 Million documents still being stored in the old furniture warehouse outside of Chicago awaiting the opening of his Presidential Community Center? There has been no evidence that they have been moved, the lease runs until 2026. Could there possibly be a few Top Secret documents stored there unguarded?
Of the last five presidents, Trumps papers are the only ones that were stored in a facility with both private security and Secret Service protection.

they must suspect they missed some hillary/fbi russia!,russia!,russia! documents or they just want to go through Melania's stuff again?
How does an agency with "inside" information spend hours in ML and miss stuff ?

I doubt they would double down on another raid. The message has already been sent, doubtless received.

And meanwhile, millions of documents from the Obama disaster years moulder, unguarded, uncataloged, and probably massive numbers missing, in an abandoned furniture warehouse in Chicago area.
And not one peep is ever said.
The archivist needs to be hung by his thumbs.

Clearly the needs of the National Archives are of such critical importance that the FBI may need to raid the homes and offices of every single Republican candidate for office prior to the November elections.

Well, since the FBI took EVERY piece of paper from Trump's home, (Including I bet, any 'folding money' that happened to be there, the National archives needs to complain about the FBI , not Trump, since he couldn't send them the stuff even if he wanted.

DOJ probably has them and will keep them until they become useful to them!! Why now raid Obama's Documents stored in a vacant Furniture Store. Doesn't sound too safe to me!

Okay National Archives, exactly what documents are missing. Please index them. Maybe they don't exist. Please clarify. The Archives are just pissing into a head wind.

My guess is that there is some pretty incriminating evidence against the Deep State that the FBI still hadn’t found. If that’s the case, I hope you hid those documents where they will never find them until you are good and ready to use them, Mr. President.

this is a coordinated, back handed, third party attempt to access the "privileged" conversations with Navarro...with the addition of demanding a written statement of "full compliance"...as a perjury trap.
These "Major demands" are all coming from lame duck anti-trumpers who will be out of office come January.

Maybe former National Security Advisor Sandy Berger stuffed them down his socks and underwear. Maybe Hillary Clinton has them in her bedroom closet along with the Rose Law Firm records that no one could find. Maybe the National Archives lost these records themselves, or maybe they never existed. Here again we see the result of failing to drain the swamp, or maybe not even trying to drain it. They'll hound this man to the end of his days with imaginary charges.
