A group of Oath Keepers, including leader Stewart Rhodes, will be forced to go to trial prematurely this week after numerous attempts by their attorneys to push their trial until January and outside of Washington DC. The presiding Judge Amit Mehta denied their motions for Change of Venue and Continuance. This is what they have been waiting for – a seditious conspiracy conviction to “prove” January 6th was an “insurrection” and tie it all to Trump

They will get the convictions for the Lead Story and October Surprise and then worry about the appeals after the election is over.

It looks like the FBI is in for yet another scandal. According to a new report from the LA Times, FBI agents busted into thousands of safety deposit boxes in California. After they rummaged through the private property of innocent people, it turns out they lied to a federal judge to get access to the boxes in the first place. "The privacy invasion was vast when FBI agents drilled and pried their way into 1,400 safe-deposit boxes at the U.S. Private Vaults store in Beverly Hills. They rummaged through personal belongings of a jazz saxophone player, an interior designer, a retired doctor, a flooring contractor,

One favorite technique of mass-murdering communist dictators is using their country’s “justice” system to destroy their political opponents. This technique is needed when one knows that even when the vote is rigged one might not be able to beat that opponent at the ballot box. One cannot let the peasants get the dangerous idea that the opponent is popular with the people. Beria’s rationale could arguably be that that since everyone, no matter how upstanding, has done something illegal at some point in their life, one can eliminate anybody one wants while claiming the mantle of the selfless justice warrior by investigating relentlessly until one discovers

Aren’t we lucky that both the mainstream and social media blocked the news about Hunter’s laptop? Aside from all the disgusting images found on it of Hunter’s drug and orgy-filled days and nights, the “Big Guy’s” take from the Chinese bribery was kept from the voters when it surely would have made a difference. Big Tech teamed up to suppress one of the biggest stories of the cycle: the Hunter Biden laptop story. A post-election poll found that 17 percent of Biden voters would have reconsidered their decision had they been aware of the laptop story alone, not counting the hundreds of Breitbart News stories

This past week New Orleans reclaimed the title of America’s deadliest city after seeing murders jump 141% over the last couple of years. In New Orleans, the murder rate is a staggering 52 per 100,000 people. That compares to the national average of 6.9, the highest it’s been in a quarter century, and the 50 per 100,000 in Venezuela, the most dangerous country in the world. If New Orleans were an outlier, it would be a shame; the fact that it’s not is a tragedy. Instead, New York, Chicago, Portland, LA, San Francisco, Philadelphia, and other American cities are part of the club.

“VINEYARD HYPOCRITES!” announced a banner towed by a light aircraft for about 45 minutes earlier this week over the Martha’s Vineyard hamlet of Aquinnah, which until 1997 was known as “Gay Head.” The demonstration was just one of many hard knocks Vineyard residents have endured since 48 mostly Venezuelan migrants were removed from the “sanctuary” island by the National Guard last Friday. After receiving basic support, but no invitations to stay on an island where 63 percent of homes are vacant in the offseason, the migrants now reside at Joint Base Cape Cod (JBCC), a military installation in mainland Massachusetts.

For years, most of the media, the federal Justice Department, and other Democrats have waged a vendetta against Donald Trump, perpetuating endless investigations in search of crimes. So far, their efforts have failed, but that’s not stopping another leftwing loon from boarding the Trump Derangement Syndrome train. Since New York Attorney General Leticia James, could not find a crime, she has promised voters that she would destroy Trump, and now since election is coming soon, she’s suing Trump and his family for alleged fraud for supposedly claiming their property was worth more than it is.

Letitia James, the New York attorney general, has filed a civil lawsuit of $250 million against Donald Trump, his children, and the Trump Organization. She alleges "Staggering Fraud." There may be fraud in the reason for her action. The focus may start with President Trump, but he is just a means to an end for the Democrat party. It ends with you, the taxpayer, and the citizens of the United States. As "Deep Throat" says to Robert Woodward in All the President's Men, "follow the money." In June of 2021, I wrote in American Thinker how Letitia James has President Trump in a Catch-22.

Fresh from his deft Martha’s Vineyard gambit, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis flew into Kansas on Sunday to rally support for Kansas Attorney General Derek Schmidt, now running for governor against incumbent Democrat Laura Kelly. Saul Alinsky, the acknowledged master of forcing poseurs to honor their own policies, could not have done better than DeSantis. No political stroke in memory has succeeded in exposing liberal hypocrisy quite so effortlessly and effectively.

The desperation of the Democratic Party appears to know no bounds. On Tuesday, the House Oversight Committee engaged in a markup on a resolution of inquiry (ROI) that requires President Joe Biden to hand over documents related to his family's international business schemes, including and especially as it relates to his son, Hunter. During the markup, however, two Democratic members decided to pivot to Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH), and remarks he made at CPAC that were taken out of context. This includes Rep. Carolyn Maloney (D-NY), who serves as the committee's chairwoman but who won't serve in the next Congress

In 1990, Ken Burns was the great talent behind The Civil War, an epic nine-episode PBS documentary that he made for PBS. It was comprehensive, gorgeous, heartbreaking, and riveting. His later work wasn’t as good but it was still damned good. But Burns, like so many leftists, is now so riddled with hatred for Republicans that he cheapens his every utterance and destroys his own legacy. The latest example is how he’s used his upcoming documentary, The US and the Holocaust, to bash modern Republicans and cover for WWII-era Democrats.

Chelsea Clinton claimed during a recent interview that her family was “the reason that Fox News was created,” arguing that the network’s founder Rupert Murdoch had seen an opportunity and a market for attacks against them. Clinton and her mother, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, spoke with entertainment magazine Variety about their new Apple TV+ venture, “Gutsy,” in a wide-ranging feature interview that was published on Tuesday, and the topic eventually turned to Fox News. “Your family was the first great target of Fox News’ approach,” the interviewer prompted.

With six weeks to go until November’s elections, a new public opinion poll in the crucial battleground state of Pennsylvania indicates that Democratic Lt. Gov. John Fetterman is ahead of GOP nominee Mehmet Oz in the race for Senate, with Democratic state Attorney General Josh Shapiro leading Republican state Sen. Doug Mastriano by double digits in the gubernatorial showdown. Fetterman tops Oz, the cardiac surgeon and celebrity doctor, 51%-44% among those likely to vote in the general election, according to a Marist College Poll in Pennsylvania conducted Sept. 19-22 and released on Tuesday. Among a wider pool of all registered voters, the survey indicates Fetterman with a 10-point 51%-41% lead

President Joe Biden used a Rose Garden speech on touting his work reducing healthcare costs to launch a political attack on Republicans, accusing them of plotting the abolition of Social Security if they take back Congress. The warning is designed to win over older voters, a key demographic in November's midterm elections. Yet he ended his political attack with an appeal for Americans to come together, forget the partisan wrangling and cooperate on bringing down costs for families. Biden held the event to advertise that Americans will pay less next year on monthly premiums for Medicare 's Part B plan,

It's no secret that the mainstream media and liberal pundit class are not fans of Florida's Republican Governor Ron DeSantis. Recent polls have shown the US Senate race in Pennsylvania heating up, with Republican Mehmet Oz in a good position to win if undecideds break towards the out-party, something that has historically happened in first-term mid-terms. Meanwhile, Democrat John Fetterman continues his grueling, break-neck campaign of five-minute campaign stump speeches. The Democrat, who had a massive stroke in May after ignoring his doctor for half a decade, has put in some disturbing, uncomfortable performances over the last month or so, and Monday was no different. California finds itself on edge more than ever with a lingering fear: the threat of rolling blackouts for years to come. Despite new power plants, building huge battery storage systems and restarting some shuttered fossil fuel generators over the past couple of years, California relies heavily on energy from other states — the cavalry rushing over a distant hill. Sometimes the support does not show up when expected or at all. That was the case this month, when millions of residents got cellphone alerts urging them to cut their energy use as the state teetered close to blackouts in blazing heat.
