When it comes to “net-zero” energy policy, the commentary coming from the Biden administration these days is truly dizzying. Americans are now being told that California’s crazy energy policies would be a good model for the rest of the nation. Have these people seen what’s going on there?
California’s plan to ban all gasoline-powered vehicles by 2035 and replace them with electric vehicles “could be” a model for the rest of the nation, Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm recently said.
She didn’t mean that as a warning, but you should know: It is one.

If they really believe what they claim, it would make more sense to push for ownership of hybrid vehicles that do not have to be charged from the grid. Their real plan seems to be making travel and commuting unaffordable for the peons so that the masses can be concentrated in urban centers to be more easily controlled.

A real easy way to stop some of this insanity is to make it mandatory for ALL government employees to take mass transit or ride Bikes. No more personal vehicles for them. Lead by example. This whole mandatory EV nonsense will stop real quick.

California?? Farmers in Europe can't afford the fuel to reap nor the electricity to store crops. Switzerland is warning of fines for people who turn their thermistats above 66F thus winter. Germany is desperately reigniting coal and nuclear power plants and Germans are scouring forests for winter fuel. Sri Lanka has had a coup over green policies. Australia exports their coal to india and china while their govetnment plans to end "fossil fuel" . The entire "white" world's politicians have gone outhouse rat nuts.

The nation's energy policy is suicidal. There are certain necessities we will always need more of, not less: Energy, food, and water. This is like an IQ test. Are we dumb enough to cut back on basic necessities? It appears we are, and we are flunking that particular IQ test.

When I see AF-1 fly using solar power, elites meeting for their green summits riding in electric cars and Al Gore living in a dark cave with candlelight I might pay attention but as of now it's all nonsense idiocy.

I'm old enough to remember the horrific brown "smog" that hung over LA in the 1970's, which resulted from many things, not the least of which was exhaust emissions from gasoline and diesel engines in a booming economy. California pushed for Federal emission standards to be placed on all new vehicles then "put a gun to the heads" of the "Big Three" automakers by refusing to allow the sale of any new "non-compliant" vehicles. Not wanting to lose the huge Cali market, the Big Three rolled up their sleeves and went to work building "California Emissions" engines. California would "rinse and repeat" LA's "smog" issue ad infinitum. Fast forward to today where a majority of LA's air pollution comes from China's coal, via the Pacific breeze.
Engineers in the USA, Japan, and Germany stepped up to develop near "ideal" engines that not only burn fuel more efficiently, but can also develop horsepower and torque once only possible in aftermarket "speed shops." For example the current Chevy "LS" engines are the closest thing to "perfect" from America, so far. Ahh, but the children of Neverland are never satisfied with what they're given, even if it's exactly what they requested.
California expects its surrounding States to increase electric production for THEM, while they refuse to build any new power plants, including nuclear. Decision-makers in Neverland are rarely required to trifle with inanities, such as the "law of unintended consequences." If ever questioned regarding a very likely consequences, they simply shrug them off with the comment, "Even if that WERE to happen, we'd cross that bridge at the time," and discussion ends.
When surrounding States 'hyperinflate electric rates to punish Cali for failure to co-produce, they'll capitulate by building new gas-fired plants, which take 10 years to come on-line. In the meantime, most current residents (= white) will have taken up residence in 'flyover' country. In the aftermath of the economic implosion, China will buy everything and Spanish will become the official language.

Our betters damn well know it's impossible. That's why they are ensuring it takes place. They can't yet ban car ownership, but they can make it so difficult and expensive that personal travel is ended. That would keep their tax paying base in the crumbling cities where workers can be closely monitored.
I've long ago stopped trying to think and ask why governments do detrimental things to us. It's intentional to gain compliance.
Covid masks, quarantines and mandatory shots anyone?
