Biden took a booming economy without inflation
and turned it into a high-inflation bust

There's a growing view inside the mainstream media that Joe Biden's recent legislative victories and his recent speeches that MAGA Republicans are a threat to democracy and are "semi-fascists" are going to give the Democrats some midterm momentum and they're going to overtake the GOP by snatching victory from the jaws of defeat. I'm not buying it and here's why you shouldn't either. First of all, the new legislation is not popular. By 36% to 12%, an Economist-YouGov poll shows that voters believe the IRA legislation will actually increase inflation.

Larry, let's be honest...tell us that the $14 TRILLION spent in the COVIDS panic has nothing to do with today's inflation. You know better. Inflation takes time to develop, after a spending paroxysm such as stimulus, PPP, Operation Warp Speed, activation of the military, "free" testing and "preventive" giveaways, etc., etc. In fact inflation was beginning to show itself in the months before Biden took office. That's not to excuse the spending done since, some bi-partisan, or the regulatory "reforms" that choked off energy supplies and drove up prices for nearly everything in addition to the financial disaster. And in the meantime, those salivating over 10% returns on CDs may soon get their wish...fools that they are, that rate driven by inflation. Government only knows to stimulate to the point of overstimulation, whether that be housing or green energy. Which party...doesn't matter. Ask Dubya about housing, for example, whose ineptitude combined with that of candidate McCain brought Obama to office.

Biden appears to modeling his economic policies after old time Argentina and current Venezuela. Biden and the Democrats will not be happy until everyone needs food stamps and housing and energy assistance to survive. They seem determined to make the US a socialist state.

One significant "ratchet effect" that happened with the Wuhan flu debacle was that a bunch of baby boomers who were close to retirement were forced out of the workforce when there were lots of business closures for no good reasons. And those people, one or three years from retirement anyway, suddenly got unemployment money from the state, and that was extended extra long, and big checks twice from the Feds, and so they sat back and cashed checks for a living. And then when lots of the businesses opened back up and asked them to come back, they just said.....Nope, liking sitting home on gov't money. And even as that ran or runs out, many are kicking into SS, so they are gone. Instead of a smooth draw down of those folks, we had a step function and it went one way....out to pasture. And the folks in that age range that would normally replace them, is still living in their parent's basement and doing odd jobs or nothing, and just don't intend to ever work as long as they don't get cold or hungry, which Mom and Dad are subsidizing....for how long? Lots of intentional harm done by Idiot Joe and his evil minions, but a lot of further harm was done by the bizarre government overreach and overspending for Wuhan flu.

We don't know how families are doing it. Our budget for the two of us exceeds last year by hundreds of dollars a month. Add more children and it has to be well over a thousand a month. We eat in more now and that must hurt restaurants. Glad the movie theaters are closing one less extravagance. And 81 million voted for this destruction? Really?

Not "semi-fascist," but 100% Fascist! Look at the Federal Government now, they own, control, or are a bank for home purchases, student loans, health insurance, medical research, food production, pharmaceuticals, media content, energy generation, etc. When the government controls industry and disallows competition then it is by definition, fascist. The Federal Government is a criminal enterprise.

A viral video making its rounds on social media offers a grim new snapshot of San Francisco’s surging homelessness crises as two men can be seen brawling amid squalid conditions on a city sidewalk. The shocking scene was filmed and posted to Twitter by J. Terrell Allen, who said he stumbled upon the wild fight in San Francisco’s SoMa neighborhood on an evening walk. Video, posted to Twitter Thursday, shows two men — one of whom is shirtless — wrestling on the ground that’s littered with debris as the majority of other apparently homeless people look on with little interest.

It is understandable that folks are baffled and dismayed by the news that confronts us each day. The Babylon Bee can barely keep a step ahead of the nitwittery we see playing out in real time. For example, California politicians decided to take money from taxpayers in order to buy medical insurance for illegal aliens. The federal government tossed bundles of COVID relief cash every which way, with over a billion dollars of it raining down on incarcerated convicts, including Boston Marathon bomber, Dzhokhar Tsarnaev. And we witnessed government spend billions to fight the prospect of climate change, only to create the reality of crushing inflation. Why are these things happening?

Both Trump and the DOJ's representatives have each put forth a pair of candidates to do the job. The breach of trust occasioned by the leak was serious because the court’s internal deliberations on cases before it really do merit confidentiality. The status of the investigation, however, merits far more transparency than it has received,

Amid the personal family tragedy on Thursday, a small domestic drama was playing out. Unsurprisingly, it involved the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. It was a fortunate coincidence of sorts that Harry and Meghan were in the country when the prince's grandmother passed away, sparing him an emotional and undoubtedly traumatic transatlantic dash as the Queen's health failed. Despite the rancour of the past few years, no one would begrudge him the chance to mourn his beloved 'Granny', with whom he had always enjoyed a warm and fun-loving relationship. To try and head off a likely loss of the House of Representatives and prepare for the next presidential election, Democrats create situations which raise anxiety in citizens, and this increases the chances their candidate will prevail because voters know discord will then subside. An example is Kathy Griffin’s widely read statement: “If you don’t want a Civil War, vote for Democrats in November. If you do want Civil War, vote Republican.” They make it very clear your life will only be peaceful if you keep Democrats in power, and they think that this is persuasive enough to tip elections.
