and turned it into a high-inflation bust

There's a growing view inside the mainstream media that Joe Biden's recent legislative victories and his recent speeches that MAGA Republicans are a threat to democracy and are "semi-fascists" are going to give the Democrats some midterm momentum and they're going to overtake the GOP by snatching victory from the jaws of defeat. I'm not buying it and here's why you shouldn't either.
First of all, the new legislation is not popular. By 36% to 12%, an Economist-YouGov poll shows that voters believe the IRA legislation will actually increase inflation.

Hey Larry - the PPP scam you came up with little to no controls for corruption started this boulder down the hill. And no, the cavalry may be coming in November but McCarthy and McConnell won't be the saviors.

What Lame Duck Joe is doing to America is intentional. He's following his master, Xi Jinping's orders. Lame Duck was bought and paid for by the Yuan funneled through Hunter's grift. The rest of the Democrats and the alphabets are complicit in his fubaring of America.

I like Larry's positive attitude about the cavalry coming, but if you remember George Armstrong Custer was also waiting for the cavalry to come to his rescue; probably only about 40 miles away. Let the CHARGE begin!!!

Larry, let's be honest...tell us that the $14 TRILLION spent in the COVIDS panic has nothing to do with today's inflation. You know better. Inflation takes time to develop, after a spending paroxysm such as stimulus, PPP, Operation Warp Speed, activation of the military, "free" testing and "preventive" giveaways, etc., etc. In fact inflation was beginning to show itself in the months before Biden took office. That's not to excuse the spending done since, some bi-partisan, or the regulatory "reforms" that choked off energy supplies and drove up prices for nearly everything in addition to the financial disaster.
And in the meantime, those salivating over 10% returns on CDs may soon get their wish...fools that they are, that rate driven by inflation.
Government only knows to stimulate to the point of overstimulation, whether that be housing or green energy. Which party...doesn't matter. Ask Dubya about housing, for example, whose ineptitude combined with that of candidate McCain brought Obama to office.

Biden appears to modeling his economic policies after old time Argentina and current Venezuela. Biden and the Democrats will not be happy until everyone needs food stamps and housing and energy assistance to survive. They seem determined to make the US a socialist state.

One significant "ratchet effect" that happened with the Wuhan flu debacle was that a bunch of baby boomers who were close to retirement were forced out of the workforce when there were lots of business closures for no good reasons. And those people, one or three years from retirement anyway, suddenly got unemployment money from the state, and that was extended extra long, and big checks twice from the Feds, and so they sat back and cashed checks for a living. And then when lots of the businesses opened back up and asked them to come back, they just said.....Nope, liking sitting home on gov't money. And even as that ran or runs out, many are kicking into SS, so they are gone.
Instead of a smooth draw down of those folks, we had a step function and it went one way....out to pasture. And the folks in that age range that would normally replace them, is still living in their parent's basement and doing odd jobs or nothing, and just don't intend to ever work as long as they don't get cold or hungry, which Mom and Dad are subsidizing....for how long?
Lots of intentional harm done by Idiot Joe and his evil minions, but a lot of further harm was done by the bizarre government overreach and overspending for Wuhan flu.

Understand this: Democrats have no regard for the people they harm. Only power and money mean anything to them. Lifelong Democrat voters are the most obvious example of the word "fool".

We don't know how families are doing it. Our budget for the two of us exceeds last year by hundreds of dollars a month. Add more children and it has to be well over a thousand a month. We eat in more now and that must hurt restaurants. Glad the movie theaters are closing one less extravagance. And 81 million voted for this destruction? Really?

In order to rule the world ( and there are those that believe that they are entitled to do so ) America had to be brought down. That, by design is what's going on now.

Not "semi-fascist," but 100% Fascist! Look at the Federal Government now, they own, control, or are a bank for home purchases, student loans, health insurance, medical research, food production, pharmaceuticals, media content, energy generation, etc. When the government controls industry and disallows competition then it is by definition, fascist.
The Federal Government is a criminal enterprise.
