Joe Biden Crosses Lines in Grotesque National
Address, Heckler Spoils His Party

Original Article

As RedState reported, excerpts from Joe Biden’s “MAGA speech” previewed a gross abuse of the Executive Office of the President. Sure enough, that’s exactly what was delivered as the president appeared in Philidelphia, standing in front of a blood-red background, flanked by Marines. Lines were crossed that can’t be uncrossed, from the use of the military as props in a blatantly political speech to Biden suggesting that nearly half the country is a “danger” to the republic. This was a speech that went far beyond anything seen in the modern era of presidential addresses. Of course, because we are dealing with a decrepit, senile old man, things didn’t start off well.

A Republican President would never recover from giving such a vicious and divisive speech. It will be interesting to see the response of his vile party. They probably will laud him with praise for taking it to Trump and his terrorists. This speech has to be one of the most irresponsible bunch of cow manure ever given by a POTUS. Joe has out done himself tonight. He just showed the country and world that he is a thoroughly reprehensible lying old man totally unworthy of the office he holds. I have nothing but contempt for him.

At least he referred to our country as a Republic. I wonder what possessed the speechwriter to make that shift of vocabulary, considering how obstinately the Dems have insisted on calling us a Democracy. That one backhanded compliment, aside, FJB. I remember listening to Lucianne on talk radio. Her format allowing posts and comments by conservatives was a trend setter in the world of the internet. We are in a battle for the soul of America. But it’s not us, it’s them with their Alinsky pure projection. The optics & message of Biden’s address purpose was to poke the MAGA bear into outrage. We cannot fall for it. Our prayers, efforts, & checks must go toward shellacking libs November 8. And day one, begin to retake our country.

Overall, 56.8% of American voters surveyed believe President Biden’s recent primetime address to the nation, in which he accused his political opponents of representing “an extremism that threatens the very foundations of our republic,” signifies a dangerous escalation in rhetoric and was designed to incite conflict among Americans.

Joe Biden keeps digging himself and his fellow Democrats a big hole with his continuing attacks on millions of Americans who support America being great. I get that’s a tough concept for Joe and the folks on the left who are used to hating America. But it’s not going over well with most Americans that he’s taken that tactic. London - Liz Truss has been elected as the Conservative Party’s new leader, the party announced Monday, and she thus will become Britain’s new prime minister as the country faces an acute cost-of-living crisis. The 47-year-old Truss, who is currently foreign secretary, beat former Treasury chief Rishi Sunak after a leadership contest in which only about 170,000 dues-paying members of the Conservative Party were allowed to vote. Truss received 81,326 votes, compared with Sunak’s 60,399. She faces immediate pressure to deliver on her promises to tackle a cost-of-living crisis walloping the U.K. and an economy heading into a potentially lengthy recession.

Six percent were undecided. In March, the poll had both Biden and Trump tied at 45 percent with nine percent undecided. But the president’s speech in Philadelphia last week marked a new low for America and a new low for a party that I once idolized. To me, the Democratic Party was the party of hope, tolerance, and opportunity. Indeed, those themes echoed through Bill Clinton’s speeches in 1992. Clinton’s presidency was the high-water mark of the post-war Democratic Party. He blended JFK’s idealism with Reagan’s folksiness. He embodied America’s middle class, the greatest political force
