Ashley Rindsberg convincingly traces Anthony Fauci’s response to the Covid 19 pandemic to the biodefense institutions created by George W. Bush and Dick Cheney following the 9/11 attacks. “To understand the rise of Fauci, and his legacy as he retires this year, we must return to the first months of the 2000s … Bush’s interest in biodefence and pandemic preparedness is frequently traced back to a 2004 book, The Great Influenza. The reality, however, is that the administration came to power with biological weapons and infectious disease very much top of mind … But if biodefence wasn’t already a priority for the Bush White House,

It's valuable to study defenses against bio-warfare but narrow-minded people of limited intelligence can not resist the offensive capabilities of such weapons. In Fauci's mind he was doing something good and it was popular with too many others. He is not the only guilty party here. They do not consider the possibility that one mistake can backfire on the creators of such nightmares.

HCQ works. Ivermectin works. Heck, aspirin cuts hospitalization from covid by 46%. I'm saying that the people in charge didn't want to help us. I don't know why. They just didn't. And for the record, 'governor' Gretchen Whitmer not only banned prescribing HCQ, she banned Zinc sales. Explain that!

The national response to 9/11 was an invitation to tyranny. Americans were sold on the idea that security was more important than liberty as they waved flags and demanded a quick, violent response to the attack. Patriot Act? Sure. We're protected by the Constitution, the FISA courts and our patriotic intel and law enforcement communities. Surveil away...I got nothing to hide. When one looks back to write history, the 9/11 attack was the day America truly began to die and whither - right there amid the flag waving and Tora Bora bombing. Remember the meme "If we change the way we live, the terrorists have won"? Well, look around you...tell me our security state was the anticipated outcome of American VICTORY in our perpetual War on Terror!

Fauci and Collins' behavior and motives are too complicated to cover in a brief article, but there are threads that are glaringly missing here. The first is money. The military budget that Fauci controls as the result of administrative control of Ft Dietrick being transferred to him is about the same size, maybe larger, than the DHS portion (NIH, CDC, FDA). At least half of the non-defense portion comes from external funding from the drug industry, both directly from companies, and through an industry group. Further, under the current rules, if a researcher works on, say, testing of a new vaccine, or oversees such testing, they can be paid a bonus that works like a sales commission, based on a percentage of sales of that vaccine. NIH's money (including that contributed by the drug companies) is spread far and wide, ranging from organizations for example, such as like Scripps Institute and Denmark’s State Serum Institute. Another is the funding through grants that ended up paying the Wuhan Institute of Virology, which has deep ties to both CCP and PLA (the army) to conduct gain of function research, the appears to have been done in a way to both obfuscate what the grant was for, and to send via an intermediate organization, EcoHealth Alliance. Yet another is that the gain of function technology was the product of secret research under the U.S. military umbrella, with roots that may got all the way back to scientists from the Third Reich, and as a minimum circumstantial evidence of links to bioweapons research labs in countries including Ukraine.

There is no excuse for advanced economies to experience a shortage of electricity, or of energy generally. The world has more than ample supplies of fossil fuels. And, if you buy the global warming hype, nuclear energy is the obvious alternative, although that implies universal use of electric vehicles that are devastating to the environment. Nevertheless, an electricity crisis is upon us. From the U.K.: “Energy could be rationed ‘for years.'” "Europe faces years of energy rationing without Russian gas, the boss of Shell has warned. Ben van Beurden said it was a “fantasy” to think that Europe’s energy crisis would be resolved soon

“Go woke, go broke” is the slogan that keeps on giving. The latest installment of woke, politically active retailers now facing financial ruin in the form of shuttering stores and mass layoffs is none other than conservative-hating Bed Bath & Beyond. According to CNBC, the retailer announced this week that it will close down 150 namesake stores, as well as plans to hand out pink slips to a whopping 20% of its workforce, mostly in the supply chain and corporate sectors of the business. The moves were announced ahead of an expected investor update on Wednesday in the company’s seemingly desperate bid to stay afloat. As you’ll recall, BBB made headlines

Bed Bath & Beyond (BBBY) stock is getting smoked early Wednesday as investors get more clarity on the mess facing the struggling retailer. On Wednesday morning, in an SEC filing and a press release ahead of an investor presentation, the company outlined plans to issue more stock, close 150 stores, and fire 20% of its staff as the retailer looks to stem the bleeding from a collapse in sales. Shares of the retailer were down more than 24% in early trading as of 9:38 AM ET. In a release ahead of its investor presentation, Bed Bath & Beyond said it received commitments for $500 million in additional financing, bringing its current liquidity

June 2002: A white woman named Valinda Elliott accompanied her boss on a business trip through the Arizona desert. When their car broke down and the boss suffered heatstroke, Elliott lit a signal fire to alert a passing helicopter. Unfortunately, the fire grew into a larger blaze. At the same time, at the nearby Apache reservation, an Injun named Leonard Gregg, needing booze money, started a massive wildfire so that, as a volunteer fireman, he could get paid for putting it out. Gregg was arrested, Elliott was not. Gregg’s entire defense, backed by his tribal leaders, was, “if a nonwhite is arrested for starting a fire, a white must be arrested, too.”

The former Bloomberg adviser was part of a segment that suggested cities could work to move away from cars and other vehicles in the wake of climate issues. Host Fareed Zakaria introduced the topic, noting that several European cities have already started considering bans on cars. “Many cities in Europe are flirting with banning private cars from the roads, and many more have at least partial bans in place. It isn’t as if we weren’t warned. Many people have observed for years now that the total exclusion of morality from the public square, and the refusal to declare that any behavior was wrong in itself, would lead to the normalization of all manner of abhorrent behavior. Such warnings seem almost quaint now, with drag queens in primary schools and toddlers being encouraged to undergo radical body mutilation. In this insane environment, it is no surprise whatsoever that the Left is now pushing to make pedophilia as normal as a walk in the park. The assault on traditional values is total and unyielding. No quarter will be given.

Philip Klotzbach, a forecaster at Colorado State University specializing in Atlantic basin hurricanes, wrote on Twitter on Tuesday that "for the first time since 1941, the Atlantic has had no named storm (e.g., tropical storm or [hurricane]) activity from July 3rd-August 30th." Klotzbach further pointed out that August of this year could finish as the only August since 1997 to have no named hurricanes.
