Nobel Prize-winning German Biologist:
Multiple Genders Are “Nonsense” and “Unscientific”

Original Article

A Nobel Prize-winning German developmental biologist called the transgender movement’s claims “unscientific” and “nonsense,” and their plans to let teenagers determine their own gender “madness.” In an interview published last week by the German feminist magazine EMMA, Dr. Christiane Nüsslein-Volhard cited hard scientific facts to counter the trendy notion that there are multiple genders. “All mammals have two sexes, and man is a mammal,” she explained. “There’s the one sex that produces the eggs, has two X chromosomes. That’s called female. And there’s the other one that makes the sperm, has an X and a Y chromosome. That’s called male.”

Comments:

"The science" is very, very clear. The politics and the insanity claim 56 genders or four or whatever. And there are TWO, and only two, no matter how much fertilizer they spread, this doesn't change. EVER.

When all of this “gender” insanity started a few years ago, an L-dotter asked a brilliant question. (Wish I could remember who it was in order to give kudos.) Try it on your lefty friends if you have any… If there are 56 (or whatever the current number is) genders, why are there only two options for people who want to “transition”?

So, now it requires a Nobel prize winning biologist to verify a basic fact of biology... and that still won't be enough.

She probably won't face a backlash, solely because NYT, WaPo, et al would never dream of publishing this declaration from a true authority on the subject. Thus, the totalitarian left will never even know she said it.

Thank you for your interest in registering to compete in our women’s triathlon. Please answer the following yes or no questions: Were you born without eggs? Has your body ever produced sperm? If you answered yes to either question, you are disqualified from competing (and you should probably enroll in a remedial course in biology).

Let the cancelling begin! I am afraid that Poster #9 has it right. No news agency will pick this up. Gotta keep the narrative unchallenged. I cannot believe we are being played by such total idiots. Any fool knows there are two sexes, male and female. The self-focused obsession this generation has with its genitalia is pathological. That they can convince seemingly sane and reasonable people to accept their utter nonsense just indicates how easily people are cowed by bullies. Never give up your beliefs because some radical is screaming at you and calling you names. If that should occur it means you are absolutely right and they cannot abide being challenged. Refuse to play their game. You know you are right. Start acting like it.

Yep! The lady clearly states one of those Truths. An 'Inconvenient Truth' for the extreme lefties. This whole 'Trangender' issue really boils down to a BULLYING campaign. The Leftists chose Sex as the issue, first because 'Sex Sells', and second because many traditional conservative people find the whole thing uncomfortable to talk about, and remain silent. But the basic issue is..... If the Left can BULLY people into saying that they agree with something that is obviously false, then they can BULLY people into saying anything that the Left chooses to BULLY them into. I have read accounts of things that happened a long time ago in a place far away, where a bunch of Bullies were able to BULLY the population of an entire country into believing that a certain subset of the population were evil, and had to be killed. It took 5 years and the combined maximum effort of most of the other people on the planet to straighten this out, at the cost of Billions (Today Trillions, if not Quadrillions) of units of currency, and some Tens of Millions of lives. The time was about..... oh, 80 or so years ago, and the place was a few thousand miles east of the USA..... somewhere between France on the west and Poland on the east. Do NOT let the BULLIES prevail THIS time!

We once thought that Jupiter only had 12 moons but now we know it has about 70. New science produced new results. Therefore .... It's possible --- just barely possible --- that in the future a strong nuclear microscope might find that the x and the y chromosomes actually have colors and when you get a rare color mixed with another rare color ... you get a "new" (mutated) gender. Possible but not likely. Most of what's going on these days is all mental.

What the heck is going on in China? 3 replies

Something weird is taking place in China but, as of this writing, nobody is quite sure what’s happening. Social media has lit up with information, some of which is verifiable and some of which is pure speculation. The most widely spread rumor is that there is a coup being carried out against Xi Jinping, but that’s also the least likely thing to be taking place according to experienced China watchers. We know that, on Saturday, there were fewer commercial flights over Beijing than usual. There’ve also been rumors that trains and buses into and out of Beijing have been canceled, and claims that military vehicles have been seen heading for Beijing

A federal judge has issued an injunction barring Delaware from enforcing provisions of a new law outlawing the manufacture and possession of homemade “ghost guns,” which can’t be traced by law enforcement officials because they don’t have serial numbers. Friday’s ruling came in a lawsuit filed by gun rights advocates after Democratic Gov. John Carney signed a law last October criminalizing the possession, manufacture and distribution of such weapons as well as unfinished firearm components. Judge Maryellen Noreika denied a motion by Democratic state Attorney General Kathleen Jennings, the sole defendant, to dismiss the lawsuit. She instead granted a preliminary injunction in favor of the plaintiffs

Tropical Storm Ian formed over the central Caribbean Sea late Friday night, and, as AccuWeather meteorologists have been warning since early in the week, it looks increasingly likely that there could be a serious hurricane threat to the continental U.S., particularly for Florida. Should Ian impact the United States as a hurricane, it would be the first Atlantic hurricane to hit the mainland U.S this season and the first named system to directly impact the East Coast since Tropical Storm Colin in July. In response to the looming threat of a strike from a hurricane, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis declared a pre-landfall state of emergency for the entire state on Saturday afternoon.

Some view any unwillingness to increase gun safety regulation for the sake of "the children" — the sine qua non of virtue-signaling — as "evil." But can a complex, multi-faceted issue like national gun policy be accurately analyzed along a single dimension to the benefit of all citizens? No responsible gun-owner debates the lethality of firearms or the need to exercise caution when using any dangerous device, from kitchen disposals to chainsaws. Nor is it likely any would oppose manufacturers' efforts to make firearms as safe as possible. What is contested are regulations that restrict responsible use of firearms under the guise of safety

Mr Modi said India had "enough food" for its 1.4 billion people, and it was "ready to supply food stocks to the world from tomorrow" if the World Trade Organization (WTO) allowed. Commodity prices were already at a 10-year high before the war in Ukraine because of global harvest issues. They have leapt after the war and are already at their highest since 1990, according to the UN Food and Agricultural Organisation (UNFAO) food-price index.

That bureaucratic-versus-populist tension isn’t just a product of the modern administrative state, though that has certainly exacerbated it. More than 100 years ago, in response to similar overreach and excess, Grover Cleveland brought chopping-block populism into the Oval Office. In many ways, Cleveland was the ideal American leader.
