Biden’s plum job reward for ex-intel

If Jeremy Bash’s appointment last week to the President’s Intelligence Advisory Board is any guide to how the White House picks its top intel folks, the nation can forget about getting reliable intel. Bash exposed himself as a political hack eager to exploit his authority for partisan purposes back in October 2020, when he joined 50 other former intelligence officials and signed an open letter pretending that The Post’s reporting off Hunter Biden’s laptop was likely Russian disinformation. It has “has the classic earmarks of a Russian information operation,” the 51 claimed — without actually explaining how, because it didn’t. It was just info they didn’t want voters

Every day that piece of crap in the whitehouse shows just how corrupt he and his whole family is. The republicans better get off their collective as*es and do something in Nov. and if they are successful in Nov. they better dam* well do something besides write letters and mouthoff about these injustices perpetrated against the American people. They too can also be voted out if they won't do their jobs. It is time to stop putting up with the rhinos and the rest of them that are nothing more than talking heads.

Very bright headline. It hadn’t occurred to me that this was yet another Biden quid pro quo for corruption. But that’s the current they trade in.

Rise & Fall of the Biden Bump 5 replies

President Biden’s approval rating recently bumped up into the low 40’s. My working theory is that Biden is well served by his time out of the public eye and poorly served by his public appearances and remarks. Biden’s minders in the White House don’t seem to agree with me, however, as they continue to send him on the road to peddle the fabrications, fabulations, and grotesqueries of his Wilkes-Barre remarks, to take only the most recent example. (I touched on them briefly in in “Semi-moronic.”) Tonight Biden is taking to prime time to save the soul of America. He makes Jimmy Carter look like a giant —

According to White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre, Joe Biden considers Trump supporters an “extreme threat to our democracy.” “President thinks that there is an extremist threat to our democracy,” Jean-Pierre said during Wednesday’s press briefing. “The President has been clear as he can be on that particular piece. When we talk about our democracy, when we talk about our freedoms, the way that he sees it is the MAGA Republicans are the most energized part of the Republican Party. That extreme — this is an extreme threat to our democracy, to our freedom, to our rights.” Later, Jean-Pierre also falsely claimed that MAGA Republicans “just don’t respect

The White House thinks they have struck gold with their attack on “MAGA Republicans” as “semi-fascist” and all the rest. President Biden’s minders in the daycare operation at the White House are wheeling him out for a primetime campaign speech addressing “the soul of the nation” tomorrow night. The speech is to take place outside Independence Hall in Philadelphia. I am following Politico’s story on the speech here. My working theory is that Biden is not a compelling advocate for the Democrats. Dems in competitive races avoid him. He is a lying phony. The theme is sickening. Biden gave it a workout in Wilkes-Barre yesterday.

There is no excuse for advanced economies to experience a shortage of electricity, or of energy generally. The world has more than ample supplies of fossil fuels. And, if you buy the global warming hype, nuclear energy is the obvious alternative, although that implies universal use of electric vehicles that are devastating to the environment. Nevertheless, an electricity crisis is upon us. From the U.K.: “Energy could be rationed ‘for years.'” "Europe faces years of energy rationing without Russian gas, the boss of Shell has warned. Ben van Beurden said it was a “fantasy” to think that Europe’s energy crisis would be resolved soon

“Go woke, go broke” is the slogan that keeps on giving. The latest installment of woke, politically active retailers now facing financial ruin in the form of shuttering stores and mass layoffs is none other than conservative-hating Bed Bath & Beyond. According to CNBC, the retailer announced this week that it will close down 150 namesake stores, as well as plans to hand out pink slips to a whopping 20% of its workforce, mostly in the supply chain and corporate sectors of the business. The moves were announced ahead of an expected investor update on Wednesday in the company’s seemingly desperate bid to stay afloat. As you’ll recall, BBB made headlines

Bed Bath & Beyond (BBBY) stock is getting smoked early Wednesday as investors get more clarity on the mess facing the struggling retailer. On Wednesday morning, in an SEC filing and a press release ahead of an investor presentation, the company outlined plans to issue more stock, close 150 stores, and fire 20% of its staff as the retailer looks to stem the bleeding from a collapse in sales. Shares of the retailer were down more than 24% in early trading as of 9:38 AM ET. In a release ahead of its investor presentation, Bed Bath & Beyond said it received commitments for $500 million in additional financing, bringing its current liquidity

June 2002: A white woman named Valinda Elliott accompanied her boss on a business trip through the Arizona desert. When their car broke down and the boss suffered heatstroke, Elliott lit a signal fire to alert a passing helicopter. Unfortunately, the fire grew into a larger blaze. At the same time, at the nearby Apache reservation, an Injun named Leonard Gregg, needing booze money, started a massive wildfire so that, as a volunteer fireman, he could get paid for putting it out. Gregg was arrested, Elliott was not. Gregg’s entire defense, backed by his tribal leaders, was, “if a nonwhite is arrested for starting a fire, a white must be arrested, too.”

Senator Mark Kelly from Arizona, who is up for reelection in November, has a number of concerning business ties to China. Kelly was the cofounder of a company called World View Enterprises, that garnered investments from a company that is closely linked to the Chinese Communist Party. World View Enterprises received investments in 2014 and again in 2016 from Tencent Holdings, a Chinese company that owns the communication platform WeChat. The communication platform, which has over a billion users, is suspected of surveilling the activity of its users. WeChat also censored information related to the coronavirus during the height of the pandemic, and Tencent suspended

Former New York City transportation commissioner Janette Sadik-Khan argued on behalf of what she called “car-free cities” to combat climate change while appearing on CNN’s “Fareed Zakaria GPS” Sunday. The former Bloomberg adviser was part of a segment that suggested cities could work to move away from cars and other vehicles in the wake of climate issues. Host Fareed Zakaria introduced the topic, noting that several European cities have already started considering bans on cars. “Many cities in Europe are flirting with banning private cars from the roads, and many more have at least partial bans in place. There is the obvious reason to combat climate change,

It isn’t as if we weren’t warned. Many people have observed for years now that the total exclusion of morality from the public square, and the refusal to declare that any behavior was wrong in itself, would lead to the normalization of all manner of abhorrent behavior. Such warnings seem almost quaint now, with drag queens in primary schools and toddlers being encouraged to undergo radical body mutilation. In this insane environment, it is no surprise whatsoever that the Left is now pushing to make pedophilia as normal as a walk in the park. The assault on traditional values is total and unyielding. No quarter will be given.

Ashley Rindsberg convincingly traces Anthony Fauci’s response to the Covid 19 pandemic to the biodefense institutions created by George W. Bush and Dick Cheney following the 9/11 attacks. “To understand the rise of Fauci, and his legacy as he retires this year, we must return to the first months of the 2000s … Bush’s interest in biodefence and pandemic preparedness is frequently traced back to a 2004 book, The Great Influenza. The reality, however, is that the administration came to power with biological weapons and infectious disease very much top of mind … But if biodefence wasn’t already a priority for the Bush White House,

Hillary Clinton may have been a 2016 presidential candidate, the former First Lady and U.S. Secretary of State, but now she’s making the rounds in the film industry. The 74-year-old made a rare appearance at the Venice Film Festival on Wednesday and her attendance confused some who wondered why she was there. Clinton posed on the red carpet for the premiere of director Noah Baumbach’s forthcoming Netflix film, “White Noise.” She ditched her usual pantsuit look and instead donned a baby blue kaftan and shiny flats for the evening.

As part of their response to the Supreme Court’s (SCOTUS) ruling in NYSRPA v. Bruen, New York Democrats secured legislation making Times Square a gun-free zone, even barring concealed carry permit holders from carrying for self-defense. On June 23 Breitbart News reported SCOTUS’s Bruen ruling, which struck down New York’s proper cause requirement for concealed carry. New York Gov. Kathy Hochul (D) and the state’s Democrat-run legislature responded by enacting numerous new gun controls, including a list of “sensitive” areas where the carrying of guns would be prohibited.

President Biden has formally announced plans to give civilian federal employees a pay raise next year, an election-year promise bound to please government workers struggling with high inflation like the rest of the voters. In a letter to congressional leadership, Mr. Biden said civilian federal employees will see an average 4.6% boost in pay beginning Jan. 1, consistent with his 2023 budget proposal in the spring. The raise includes an across-the-board 4.1% increase and locality pay that will increase by an average of 0.5%. Mr. Biden cited a growing pay gap between federal civilian and private sector employees that have led to recruitment and retention challenges

We saw that one person accused of bias by the whistleblowers has now been shown the door — Timothy Thibault, who was allegedly involved at different points both in investigations against Trump and Hunter Biden. But it sounds like the whistleblowers might be making the Biden Administration nervous with what they’re revealing.

Democratic House Speaker Nancy Pelosi repeatedly said abortion restrictions are “sinful,” standing in direct contradiction to her Catholic faith. Pelosi made the comments during an Aug. 26 Roundtable on Women’s Reproductive Health at the University of California, San Francisco. (snip) Pelosi has referred to herself as a “devout Catholic” despite the conflict between her stance on abortion and the Roman Catholic Church’s teaching on the issue. The church teaches that abortion is a “moral evil” and “gravely wrong” because “human life begins at conception,” according to the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops.

A Nobel Prize-winning German developmental biologist called the transgender movement’s claims “unscientific” and “nonsense,” and their plans to let teenagers determine their own gender “madness.” In an interview published last week by the German feminist magazine EMMA, Dr. Christiane Nüsslein-Volhard cited hard scientific facts to counter the trendy notion that there are multiple genders. “All mammals have two sexes, and man is a mammal,” she explained. “There’s the one sex that produces the eggs, has two X chromosomes. That’s called female. And there’s the other one that makes the sperm, has an X and a Y chromosome. That’s called male.”

Despite the leftist mainstream media’s best efforts to portray Joe Biden as a rejuvenated president ready to lead his party to midterm glories, the aged and increasingly befogged Biden keeps sidetracking the fake news narrative with his own words and misdeeds. “An alleged diary from Ashley Biden exposed Joe Biden as a creep who took naked showers with his daughter at an inappropriate age.” Joe Biden should not be talking to children. He shouldn’t be talking to or about teenagers, either. Quite frankly, he oughtn’t address or talk about anyone under the age of 21 for the remainder of his presidency.
